About the Game
Pratfall is a game where you fall, dig, explode and rescue your dog! Navigate deadly caves solo or with friends in this chaotic co-op adventure. Team up with friends and watch your step on this journey full of traps, hazards, and the most deadly force of all: gravity. Will you jump into the unknown to rescue your dog?
RESCUE YOUR DOG
Wait, why is there even a construction site in this dog park? Your best friend fell down a hole and needs your help! Grab a helmet, a pickaxe, and some friends to head after your buddy.
DON'T FALL (TOO MUCH)
There’s a huge system of caves down there, and this rescue mission might be tougher than expected! Luckily, someone ordered a bunch of items that are scattered and buried all over the place. Find food to recover from injuries, use ziplines to cross crevasses, or create your own path with your pickaxe, drill, and magic beans. Don't forget to light the way with flares, it's dark down there!
GO DOWN TOGETHER
Turns out, it's not only you who is missing their best bud! All the dogs are gone! Watch out for your friends, catch them if they fall. Too clumsy to catch? Revive them if they're down. Or don't. Feed them weird stuff, toss them a bomb, and see what happens.

Since the Gumballs & Glory update is done now we are focussing on a smaller update coming in a few weeks. At the same time we are already prototyping new content and will share progress via a Devlog when we have something to show!
Added room codes for easier lobby invites (lobby needs to be set to public in options)
Added an alternative network backend: eos. For those that have connection problems with the Steam backend - you can now select eos without switching to the network_branch
Added an alternative "experimental" voice chat in the options. This is for the players that have issues with Steam Voice Chat
For performance reasons we removed points lights from the packages and improved their visibility with particles. This should in general improve performance by quite a bit.
Fixed leaderboard tabbar not working

General
Valve fixed an issue with their peer to peer networking which might have affected quite a lot of players. This could mean that the network connection is much more stable in general
Main Game
Fixed an issue with the gumball machine still rolling cosmetics when you already unlocked all
Fixed an issue with the Long Range Warp not cancelling on mid game join
Fixed health drain (Rescue effect) not pausing in pause screen (in multiplayer all players need to pause to actually pause bats, worm and health drain)
Smaller bugfixes
network_beta branch
We updated the network_beta branch to be able to seelct the networking backend (Steam or Eos) and added room codes (only if you set the lobby mode to "public" in options)
You can also test a new "Experimental" Voice Chat in the options that might work better than Steam Voice Chat for some players
There are translations missing for the new texts which we will add in the coming days
Fixed in issue for russian language crashing when interacting with the hole in the park
