About the Game
Pratfall is a game where you fall, dig, explode and rescue your dog! Navigate deadly caves solo or with friends in this chaotic co-op adventure. Team up with friends and watch your step on this journey full of traps, hazards, and the most deadly force of all: gravity. Will you jump into the unknown to rescue your dog?
RESCUE YOUR DOG
Wait, why is there even a construction site in this dog park? Your best friend fell down a hole and needs your help! Grab a helmet, a pickaxe, and some friends to head after your buddy.
DON'T FALL (TOO MUCH)
There’s a huge system of caves down there, and this rescue mission might be tougher than expected! Luckily, someone ordered a bunch of items that are scattered and buried all over the place. Find food to recover from injuries, use ziplines to cross crevasses, or create your own path with your pickaxe, drill, and magic beans. Don't forget to light the way with flares, it's dark down there!
GO DOWN TOGETHER
Turns out, it's not only you who is missing their best bud! All the dogs are gone! Watch out for your friends, catch them if they fall. Too clumsy to catch? Revive them if they're down. Or don't. Feed them weird stuff, toss them a bomb, and see what happens.

For performance reasons we removed points lights from the packages and improved their visibility with particles. This should in general improve performance by quite a bit.

Edit:
Added an option to go back to the old package lights (if you prefer the old version and your pc can handle it)
General
Valve fixed an issue with their peer to peer networking which might have affected quite a lot of players. This could mean that the network connection is much more stable in general

Smaller bugfixes and performance improvements
There is sadly no easy fix for the food audio effect issues that some people experienced, so we worked around the issue. That means that the Squeakers and Deep Dish Pizza sound a bit different now. On the plus side: they now work in combination with the Megaphone. We are going to try to improve it but this at least fixes the audio issues.
Fixed an issue with the Long Range Warp not correctly teleporting dead players ragdolls
Changed default lobby type to Open For Friends
Added some more logging to help fix CPU hangs
Fixed a bug with brightness setting multiplying
Fixed a few rare errors
If you experience network issues, you can switch to the steam branch "network_beta". Let us know if that improves the network quality.
Fixed startup problems due to Windows Smart App Control
Fixed achievements not unlocking in Steam even though they are unlocked ingame
(Missing achievements will unlock the next time you start the game)Fixed translation of achievement notifications
Fixed two achievements that were not able to unlock in the park
Fixed issue where players where unable to move or look around
(Due to gif export and the File Explorer opening in the background. Now opens when you close the game)Fixed start drill not behaving the same every run in the Weekly Challenge
Fixed start orientation of players
Fixed a few issues with quick restart in the Weekly Challenge
Fixed a few uncommon errors
We are still working on a fix for the audio distortion issue. This seems to be related to 7.1 surround sound. If you encounter any audio distortion issues - we have added a setting to the audio option to turn off "Voice Change Effects". This will disable Squeaker, Deep Dish Pizza and Megaphone effects that causes the bug.
It looks like the sound issues are fixed now.
Thank you very much for your help reproducing the issue. <3
If you still encounter issues, please let us know!
