Up to date
1.14.1j
Changed
- Reverted the appearance of the 'Feathers' cape to how it was when first added. It was temporarily changed due to performance concerns but this has since been resolved!
- Players who are still alive at the end of Searing Spotlights are ranked by their remaining HP, rather than all tying for 1st place.
Fixed
- Fixed a bug causing custom names not to be deleted correctly if one of the custom names matched your Steam username.
- When using a controller, the options menu buttons (Back, Reset Defaults, Apply) can no longer be pressed while a control mapper popup window is open. This allows these inputs to be bound or used in the control mapper popup without also performing their primary options menu function.
- Fixed incorrect D-Pad icons for DualSense 2, DualSense 3 and DualSense 4 controllers.
- (Board Mods) Non-landable spaces are no longer counted when calculating the number of board spaces along a path.
- When the game needs to find the shortest path between two board spaces, pathing spaces and any space with the 'Can be landed on' property disabled are no longer counted, since they don't cost the player a step to pass over.
- This makes the following more predictable/sensible:
- The path the golden particle trail takes towards the goal.
- The path the rocket skewer takes.
- The graveyard space a player is spawned at (furthest from any goal).
- Some bot player AI choices.
- The path the golden particle trail takes towards the goal.
- These affected features should be more intuitive if many pathing spaces are used by a board (e.g. the rocket or gold particle trail won't take a longer path anymore just because the shorter path had many pathing spaces along it).
- When the game needs to find the shortest path between two board spaces, pathing spaces and any space with the 'Can be landed on' property disabled are no longer counted, since they don't cost the player a step to pass over.
- Fixed the player not tilting correctly when riding a rocket.
- Fixed the 'Gold' and 'Platinum' player colors appearing too bright. They now appear as they were when originally added.
1.14.1i
Added
- Added Brazilian Portuguese localization.
- Updates have been made to the existing localization for other languages.
Fixed
- The Star Crown hat no longer glows in the dark in Searing Spotlights.

1.14.1h
Added
- Added a setting to change the split screen direction when playing in splitscreen mode.
- This setting will prioritise splitting the screen horizontally (current behaviour) or vertically (new).
- This setting is found on the option menu's 'General' tab.
- This setting will prioritise splitting the screen horizontally (current behaviour) or vertically (new).
Changed
- When playing a minigame in splitscreen, the camera views have been moved up slightly so that the player scores no longer cover the views of the players at the bottom of the screen.
- The online chat window now closes if you unfocus it by clicking elsewhere on the screen.
- When playing on a board with fewer possible spaces for the goal chest to spawn than goal chests enabled in the ruleset, a chest can respawn on the same space it was claimed from.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue causing reconnecting players to timeout when being re-added at the start of the turn if they reconnected after closing and opening the game.
- Fixed pallets sometimes not being flingable in Forklift Fling when playing online.
- Fixed the minigame choices shown when using the present item being incorrect for players that had reconnected to the game after a disconnect.
- Fixed dead players in Sharky Swim being able to escape or collect beacons if they had died in certain locations.
- Fixed the position of the "Spectate" button prompt in Acidic Atoll when using splitscreen.
1.14.1g
Changed

- Reduced lag in Sandy Search.
1.14.1e
Changed
- Added a cooldown to prevent players from spamming the chat in online games.
- Added a maximum character limit to the online chat.
- Any actions in the "Options > Controls" menu that don't have a binding set when the game is started or a controller is connected will be reset to their default binding.
- This fixes some of the new actions not being automatically bound to the correct buttons when updating from 1.14.0.
- This fixes some of the new actions not being automatically bound to the correct buttons when updating from 1.14.0.
Fixed
- Fixed a bug causing saved games to fail to load correctly and cause heavy lag.
- This also fixes reconnecting to any games affected by this bug, so reconnecting should be more reliable now.
- This also fixes reconnecting to any games affected by this bug, so reconnecting should be more reliable now.
- Fixed lag spikes caused by sending messages via the online chat window that contained certain characters.
- Fixed some players experiencing broken or missing bindings on some unbindable actions. E.g. the "Add AI" button in the lobby when using a controller.
- Fixed a softlock introduced in 1.14.1d that could occur when opening a goal chest in an online game.
1.14.1d
Fixed
- Fixed an error that would cause mods to fail to load if the mod texture cache could not be read.
- Fixed an issue when playing with fake chests.
- The player who opened the real chest would continue to play their turn too soon, overlapping with the fake chests being placed back onto the board after the shuffle animation. This could cause the chest description UI to stay onscreen and potentially cause a softlock.

1.14.1c
Fixed
- Fixed mods not opening if they contain any files with a path longer than the Windows path length limit.
- Fixed the online chat window not stopping other inputs from affecting the game. For example, when the chat is open, typing will no longer cause things like the dice to be rolled, the map/inventory to open, the game to start from a lobby, etc.
- Fixed a visual issue with the lighting of the Pummel Awards Ceremony, where it would keep some of the lighting from the board map being played.
1.14.1b
Fixed
- Fixed missing controller glyphs for the PS5 DualSense controller.
- Fixed a freeze in the mod editor when trying to play or save a mod containing a weapon component.
- Reduced lag when explosion effects are playing in Mortar Mayhem.
1.14.1a
Fixed
- You can no longer load game save data from 1.14.0. This would cause various issues and was not intended to be possible.
This change will also clear any save data created in 1.14.1 over the last few days, as they may be corrupt if they were originally created in 1.14.0.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
1.14.0d
Changed
- Added a loading spinner that appears when searching for lobbies.
- There is now a three-second cooldown to the 'Refresh' button when searching for nearby lobbies.
Fixed
- Fixed weapon cache giving the wrong items after it has been claimed at least once if you had items disabled in the ruleset.
- Fixed players sometimes clipping through the floor or being set to a different Y position when returning to the board after the mid-game Pummel Awards.
- Fixed a case where teleporting multiple players at once in mod boards could end up with players overlapping.
- Fixed a specific Key space on the Rival Arena board that wouldn't give keys when landed on.
- Reverted a change to the scale/resolution of the cosmic cape material in the mod editor.
1.14.0c
Changed
- Points awarded from certain minigames are now awarded in multiples of 10 instead of powers of 2.
- The power of 2 scoring was used with teams to avoid the situation where a team would not place first even though someone in the team placed first in the minigame.
- With points now using multiples of 10, it is possible for a team to not place first even if a member of the team is the first to complete the minigame objective. It is now up to all players on the team to contribute enough points by completing the minigame objective before players on other teams to ensure their team wins.
- The power of 2 scoring was used with teams to avoid the situation where a team would not place first even though someone in the team placed first in the minigame.
Fixed
- Fixed players incorrectly being given extra copies of the last item they had won from a previous minigame when they didn't actually win anything in the most recent minigame.
- You can no longer use the Arcade Machine against teammates when friendly fire is enabled in the ruleset.
- Fixes to the gold particles that follow the shortest path to the goal chest:
- The particles will now include 'Jump'-type connections when finding the shortest path, and they will travel across a 'Jump' connection.
- The particles will now stop at a teleport connection if it is the best path, rather than ignoring it and continuing down a worse or longer path.
- The particles should no longer get caught in a loop instead of following a valid path to the goal chest.
- The particles will now include 'Jump'-type connections when finding the shortest path, and they will travel across a 'Jump' connection.
- Disabled a debugging layer that was left on in some minigames causing colored boxes to appear around players when using a controller.
- Improved error handling for corrupted save data.
1.14.0b
Fixed
- Fixed the Hardhat cosmetic not appearing in the Hats tab of the unlocks screen.
- Fixed Reaper spaces that were covered by either the chest or weapons cache showing as unclaimed instead of using the color of the player who had claimed that space.
- Fixed some players, when using a controller, not being able to press L/R to set a different hat, cape or color in the lobby slot appearance menu.
- Fixed a situation where in an offline game, local players would be named the host player's name plus a number, instead of "Player" and a number as was shown in the lobby.
- (Mods) Fixed the Spawn Effect action not working with the advanced target set to a Transform. This would cause a softlock in board mods.
- (Minigame Mods) Player scores will no longer go negative if they exceed the maximum value of 32767.
