Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
No spelling errors were fixed in this patch.
- Fixed Game crash that would happen when deleting save games from the save game menu. (for real this time)
- Fixed an issue with steam workshop uploads that messed up the starting room screenshot
- Fixed an issue that prevented steam workshop uploads from working while the game was in windowed mode. (???)
- Fixes several more HUMILIATING spelling and grammar issues towards the end of he game.
- Improved mouse cursor behavior on pause screens.
- Removed the confusing empty checkboxes from the challenge list on the preview screen
- Substantially reduces developer humiliation by fixing a variety of minor spelling and grammar issues in datalogs and dialog.
- Fixes a rare, annoying performance issue for some users on extremely low spec machines.
- New more robust save game screen!
- General Improvements to text fields. (Editor improvement mostly)
- Fix for crash when attempting to delete saves.
- A couple of raccoons went missing, they're now back!
- Misc. grammar issues.
More interesting updates to come in the future...
- Leaderboards can now be scrolled up and down to see more than the first 10 records.
- Fixed a bug that prevented some records from being displayed after the leaderboard had more than 10 entries. (If your scores were affected by this, they should now be visible again! The records were all fine in the back end, it was just a client side issue.)
- Fixed an issue that would cause leaderboards to be empty until revisiting a second time. This might still happen a little bit if your connection is spotty, but it should be a lot better now.
- Fixed a rare issue with falling rock objects that could result in them not applying damage correctly.
Thank you! And keep an eye out for more levels getting released on workshop!
Leaderboard scores should be uploaded much more consistently now for users who were affected.
Head on over to the workshop to grab try out some of the levels that have been added if you haven't already! Thank you!
Puzzle Depot has updated to v1.0.1!
New to this version is Steam Workshop support, meaning you can now easily share your own created levels with other players! There are even leaderboards for workshop levels for you competitive puzzlers!
To kick things off, we've added a short n' sweet level of our own to the workshop honoring Puzzle Depot's predecessor, Depot Dungeons. This is a quick jaunt through a fairly-faithful reproduction of the original Storage Bay Alpha from the original game. Head over to the Workshop to subscribe to this level, then find it under the Level Select option on Puzzle Depot's main menu.

Puzzle depot 1.0.1 Change log
Workshop support added! You can now upload levels from the editor to steam workshop to easily share with other players.
Leaderboards added! Leaderboards have been added for all workshop levels! Every workshop level will have it's own leaderboards for highest score, fewest moves, lowest score, and first players to complete! Leaderboards are not currently available for the main story levels.
Fix for a rare issue that prevented a large roach from spawning under very specific circumstances.
Fix for saved games not being correctly selectable for user made levels.
Fix for duplicate screenshots sometimes being taken in steam.
Minor increase in frequency of hazmat crew using their energy dome.
Fixed a minor issue with Alma's bandages not always being visible.
Minor fixes to story levels, mostly grammar/spelling corrections, and tidying up a couple uncommon soft locks that could happen.
Be advised that if you load a save game created before this patch, you will still be playing the 1.0.0 version of that level. You'll need to restart the level completely to play the latest version of them.
New feature:
- Cut scene Skip button! You can hold this button down to fast forward through almost all cut scenes in the game. Very convenient for follow up play throughs! This key can be configured in the options menu, and if you don't get a keybinding for it by default, you may have to manually assign a key. Most people should get a default key assigned.
Changes:
- Quicksave hotkey changed to 'F5'. Quickload remains bound to 'F8'.
- Minor corrections to various datalog entries.
- Minor updates to levels 2 and 12. (Text/cosmetic fixes)
Fixes:
- Broken room in City Ruins has been fixed
- Fix for Depot Power Station that could result in music being stopped and not restarted.
- Fixed a rare crash that could happen related to the info cursor.
- Fixes for high scores. There was an issue with how we were storing high scores at the end of the level, this has required us to flag old scores as 'invalid' these will still appear, but they'll be darker on the level preview screen. If you replay through the level, you'll replace the old score with a new one, even if the new score is lower. Sorry for the inconvenience here. This will not affect any of your challenge goal progress! It only affects the high scores shown in game for bragging rights.

For a limited time, encounter herds of massive millipedes, bubbling caustic lakes, mushroom-filled grottos, and even more in the expanded demo! Only the bravest explorers will uncover all of the Great Alkali Basin's mysteries.

Explore a variety of environments beyond the Union facility. The Basin's caverns are teeming with dangerous invasive species.

Ironpedes are a new creature that are quite common in the Basin's rocky cliffs, and many areas of the game beyond this one. Learning how they behave is key!

Discover new interactions with familiar objects. Wooden crates and barrels are great for forming bridges over the bubbling goop, but be wary of hungry termites.
This is a far more open-ended level than the familiar Storage Bay Alpha, and the optional goals are even trickier this time, so dig in while this level is available! (Oh, and because we were a little late with our announcements we're just gonna go ahead and leave it up for a good while after the event, until June 5th).
Happy pushing, and good luck in the Great Alkali Basin!
