About the Game
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes the base game and Season Pass featuring all-new content. Explore Croft Manor in the new “Blood Ties” story, then defend it against a zombie invasion in “Lara’s Nightmare”. Survive extreme conditions with a friend in the new online Co-Op Endurance mode, and brave the new “Extreme Survivor” difficulty. Also features an outfit and weapon inspired by Tomb Raider III, and 5 classic Lara skins. Existing DLC will challenge you to explore a new tomb that houses an ancient terror in Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, and combat waves of infected predators in Cold Darkness Awakened.
KEY FEATURES:
- Lara’s Journey – Lara uncovers an ancient mystery that places her in the cross-hairs of a ruthless organization known as Trinity. As she races to find the secret before Trinity, the trail leads to a myth about the Lost City of Kitezh. Lara knows she must reach the Lost City and its hidden secrets before Trinity. With that, she sets out for Siberia on her first Tomb Raiding expedition.
- Woman vs. Wild – In “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” Lara battles with not only enemies from around the world, but the world itself. Hunt animals to craft weapons and scavenge for rare resources in densely populated ecosystems. You’ll encounter beautifully hostile environments, full of treacherous conditions and unstable landscapes that will require Lara to push her limits to the very edge.
- Guerilla Combat - Use the environment to your advantage, scale trees and dive underwater to avoid or takedown enemies, configure Lara’s gear, weapons, and ammo to suit your play style from stealth to guns blazing, craft explosives on the fly to sow chaos, and wield Lara’s signature combat bows and climbing axe.
- Return to Tomb Raiding – Tombs are back, and they’re bigger and better than ever. In “Rise of the Tomb Raider” you’ll explore huge, awe-inspiring ancient spaces littered with deadly traps, solve dramatic environmental puzzles, and decipher ancient texts to reveal crypts as you take on a world filled with secrets to discover.

- Fixed issue with polish language whereas gamepad characters were visible in the UX
Epic and Steam account linking and crossplay.
1) If you’ve never linked your Steam and Epic accounts, you can launch and play Tomb Raider through Steam just as you always could.
2) If you have previously linked your Steam and Epic accounts the game will not automatically use your linked account. If you wish make use of your linked accounts, please enable the feature from the options menu>>multiplayer.
3) You can unlink your Steam account via your Epic account settings, or disable the use of it from the in-game menu.

We have just released the tenth PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.753.2. This is a small patch fixing some issues that have been reported by our Steam players.
This patch will be applied by Steam automatically when you next start the game. If your game does not update, please restart the Steam client.The following fixes are included in this patch
- We've added options to control voice chat in Endurance Co-op Mode. You can now disable sending voice chat as well as control the volume of incoming voice chat.
- Selling cards when using the mouse is improved to prevent accidentally selling the wrong card.
- Accepting an invitation for online play when you don't own the Endurance Add-on will now pop up a proper message.
While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we made a Beta available on Steam, Build 753.1, which can be used to switch back to the previous version.

We have just released the eighth PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.751.5. This patch adds updates related to the 20 Year Celebration Pack, the new Co-Op play for Endurance mode as well as various other fixes. For details please see below.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Pack includes:
- “Blood Ties” single player story. Explore Lara’s childhood home in an hour of new Story Mode gameplay, and uncover a family mystery that will change her life forever.
- “Lara's Nightmare” Mode. Lara's worst nightmares come alive as hordes of the undead overrun her childhood home.
- “Extreme Survivor” difficulty setting that will severely limit your save points, crafting materials, resources, ammunition, and health.
- 20 Year Celebration Content. Five classic Lara Croft skins as well as a reimagined outfit and gun that pays tribute to Lara’s trip to Antarctica in Tomb Raider III.
- Infected NPC Cards have been added to Remnant Resistance and Endurance Mode.
The 20 Year Celebration Pack will be automatically given to all Season Pass holders, as well as made available for individual purchase at 9:00am PDT.Additional Season Pass Content

A new online co-op expansion to Endurance mode lets fans raid tombs in a brutal wilderness together. Two players must team up to survive the harsh elements by day, as well as lethal threats from enemies by night.
Endurance Mode Co-Op is available with this patch to everyone who already owns or purchases the Endurance Add-on.Other Changes
- Rebalanced the single player Endurance experience and added a new Season 2 leaderboard.
- Added a safeguard to prevent Lara’s radio from being removed from her inventory.
- Added a safeguard to allow the player to turn in the Gulag Recon quest if the mission giver was unresponsive.
- Added a safeguard to prevent the challenge lanterns in Baba Yaga from disappearing.
- Fixed an issue that could lock out player control when turning in a mission in the Soviet Installation.
- Fixed an issue where the final cutscene would not trigger if a portable object was aimed while entering the tomb.
- Steam overlay in DX12 is now enabled by default, you can still disable it in your Steam settings if desirable.
- A variety of other smaller optimizations, bug-fixes, and tweaks.

We have just released the seventh PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.668.0. This patch adds improvements for DX12 multi-GPU support (this includes NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX), as well as a variety of other fixes. For details please see below.

- Adds DirectX12 Multi-GPU support. Many of you have requested this, so DirectX 12 now supports NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX configurations.
- The benefits of DirectX 12 are still the same, but now you are less likely to be GPU bottlenecked and can reach higher framerates due to the improved CPU utilization DirectX 12 offers.
- Adds utilization of DirectX 12 Asynchronous Compute, on AMD GCN 1.1 GPUs and NVIDIA Pascal-based GPUs, for improved GPU performance.
- On the latest Windows 10 version, V-sync can now be disabled (Windows Store version), and behavior of disabled V-sync has been improved (Steam version).
- Improvements to stereoscopic 3D rendering, including fixes for NIVIDA Surround and AMD Eyefinity in combination with stereoscopic 3D.
- Improved default settings for certain integrated GPUs.
- Removes the Voidhammer Shotgun for users that do not have Cold Darkness Awakens DLC or have not yet unlocked it by rescuing prisoners in Cold Darkness Awakens.
- A fix for a save issue where some game state could get lost in very rare circumstances.
- This patch force-disables the Steam Overlay when using DirectX 12. This is due to stability issues with the Steam Overlay in combination with DirectX 12.

- A variety of other smaller optimizations, bug-fixes, and tweaks.

Decommissioned during the Cold War, a dormant weapons research base has been breached, unleashing a mysterious affliction into the Siberian wilderness that transforms men into blood-thirsty, mindless killers. Lara must overcome increasingly dangerous waves of these infected adversaries while scavenging their equipment and crafting additional gear on the fly, in kill or be killed survival-combat. Fight for your life against new enemies and complete new challenges, while discovering a way to stop or perhaps even reverse this impending catastrophe. Includes the Ushanka outfit which reduces Lara’s damage from melee attacks, the devastating Voidhammer shotgun, and the Cold Darkness Awakened Card Pack which includes over 15 new Expedition Cards.

- Fixed several issues with the basecamp after completing Baba Yaga that could prevent players from accessing outfits or fast travel until the checkpoint was reloaded.
- Added chance to loot Deer Antlers from resource chests in Endurance.

We have just released the fourth PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.629.3. This patch focuses primarily on adding stereoscopic 3D rendering. We know it was a favorite feature for many of our players on the previous Tomb Raider and based on your feedback we are bringing this to you now in Lara’s latest adventure.

- Stereoscopic 3D rendering support added.

We have just released the third PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.623.2. This is a somewhat smaller patch fixing some issues that have been reported by our players. We expect some larger updates for the next patch!

If you are using the game on the Window Store, we are still working to get the previous update with you as soon as possible, and to have this one follow soon after. - Added new option to disable the camera automatically centering behind the player when strafing.
- Fixed problems where animals may not appear on a 2nd play-through of the game.
- Fixed a problem where occasionally the door to the Voice of God tomb is closed and cannot be opened.
- Fixed a problem causing the game to not start on machines with 32 or more hardware threads.
- Fixed some foliage flickering when Dynamic Foliage is set to High while the game is running 30fps or lower.
- Fixed artifacts when SSAO/HBAO+ was enabled in combination with SSAA.
- A variety of other smaller optimizations, bug-fixes, and tweaks.

We have just released the second PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.616.4. This patch addresses a number of requests and bugs we have seen coming up in customer support as well as on the forums.

- Fixed Map sometimes not showing or showing the wrong region.
- Fixed ALT-TAB in combination with Exclusive Fullscreen occasionally hanging the game or entire system. (Steam Only)
- Fixed graphics glitches on NPC clothing on NVIDIA 6x0 and 7x0 hardware.
- Fixed rare crashes with a "DX11 Internal Heap" error.
- Added separate mouse sensitivity control for X and Y axis, allowing users to equalize sensitivity.
- Added option to reduce in-game camera shake, for users that prefer this.
- Added audio-cue for finding secrets in the relic viewer.
- Fixed game changing system screen saver settings for some users. (Steam Only)
- Added additional error handling and messaging in case the GPU driver is crashing or unresponsive.
- Various performance improvements for GPU-bound situations. CPU bound scenarios are not impacted.
