About the Game
Sairento VR is best described as a VR cyber ninja simulator.
Since its launch, Sairento VR has been gaining fans worldwide with its unique locomotion system. It is the one game in VR that allows you to experience the iconic "bullet-time" scenes from The Matrix, blended with the slow-motion mayhem of the Max Payne game series, all while looking and feeling as badass as the Bride from Kill Bill.

In Sairento VR, you play a cyber ninja. Perform triple jumps, wall runs, power slides, back flips and slow down time while blasting away at a foe before landing to deliver a lethal strike on another. Kit yourself with your weapons of choice - katanas, firearms, bows, throwing glaives - they are all at your disposal.
Popular gamers like Node call it their ‘favourite VR game’ and Nathie, Cix Liv, JoshDub, TimDotTV and more all give it a thumbs up.
Sairento VR was designed to be easy to pick up, but tough to master. The more time you spend with Sairento VR, the better you will perform the moves in the game and the more you will be rewarded with the unparalleled feeling of being the action hero of a big budget move production.

Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
Greetings Ninjas,
It's been a while since our last update, and we're excited to talk about what's in patch 1.5.
Updated Locomotion
Clipping and falling through the environment - It's probably happened to you more than once, and it's no way to experience being a ninja. To combat this, we've updated our locomotion code to a physics-based system. This should drastically reduce the occurrences of this nasty bug.
Somersaults
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-CTC4gpPKI
Step up your game with the ability to perform flips. You are no longer limited to backflips off walls - you can now trigger directional flips in the air, and also sideflip off a wallrun. The trigger is the same as before - raise both hands in the air as you jump. Additionally, you can also trigger the flip at any time along the upward portion of a jump, so you can time your flips to have maximum air-time.
Gliding
Gliding is a new addition that will allow you to drift through the air. When enabled in the options, simply stretch your hands out to both sides to reduce your velocity. This can be useful if you misjudge the distance of a jump, or want to roleplay being Batman. Your choice.
A New Map - The Hangar
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRfSelOehMI
We are also introducing a new map - the Hangar. It is a multilevel arena with various areas of interest to engage enemies in. Blast doors and cargo pods grant some cover to those who want to duke it out in the central area, while an assortment of bridges and scaffolding connect the upper areas, and can be used to your advantage if you prefer a more stealthy approach.
Graphics Revamp
This update includes graphics revamps for the Street and Alley levels - they should be much more performant and visually striking. Don't take our word for it, give it a spin!

Fellow Ninjas,
The Sairento VR Campaign mode has finally launched and along with that, our exit from Early Access on Steam.
Actually, some eagle-eyed players already found out that we secretly uploaded the latest version a couple of days ago. Well, we wanted to make sure that we could upload the game on time and mess around with Super Bowl day so ....
Anyways, it's been a wild ride over the past year, and from everyone at our small and humble studio, we thank all of you who have played a part in seeing Sairento come together, from conception to the action-packed spectacle it is today.
As many of you have rightly pointed out, an exit from EA is just a technicality. It does not mean that we will be washing our hands off it from now on. While it does mean that we believe all the elements required to make a full game are in place, we still want to continue ironing out the remaining imperfections. We also want to add more content periodically to reward our fans' loyalty and support for a while more.
Our only regret is that we cannot make the Campaign mode as robust as we would like it to be due to a lack of resources, although we really did try our very best.
Yet, despite its flaws, we think that Sairento is a game that we can all be proud of. And by we, we mean you and us. Sairento VR is a result of the cumulative efforts of both your constructive feedback and our hard work. Without you, Sairento won't exist in its current form and we want to salute you for that. As such, we have dedicated the About page in the game to you. This page is about you and not about us. Please check it out.
And this is just the beginning for us and for you fans of Sairento.
We have learnt so much through developing Sairento VR, and we want to take it a step further. We have big ideas and plans brewing in the pipeline that will further expand upon the lore of Sairento, as well as build upon the universe in a huge way.
Wish us luck and look forward to a massive announcement (hopefully soon)!
Also, watch out for an exciting new bundle we will be offering on the 9th!
Lastly, we have a small favor to ask of you. If you have enjoyed Sairento VR, it would mean a lot to us if you could rate us at Metacritic.
