About the Game
~ In lands long forgotten, stories told of a mountain top that lead to the gates of the Resting Realms. For it was believed a child cast into the abyss under the gaze of the blood full moon may one day return... but that child shall wield the wealth and power over The Undying. ~
~ But perhaps the stories are true? Do the fabled gates really exist? Where may they lead? And who may well dwell in such haunted realms beyond? ~
Gameplay
Spirits Abyss is a roguelite platformer with destructible terrain (or Spelunky-like). Cast into the Mountainous Abysm you must venture into its randomly generated depths battling phantasmic meanies through diverse spookful biomes, meeting curious compadres, and plundering its many useful items and treasures to hopefully find a way back home beyond the Guardian of the Undying Gate... but does something nestle beyond the realmic veil of death?Features
- 8 game modes to master and unlock. Including online seeded runs where you can compete against the Abysm community, a strategic collectable card battling game, a free play mode where you can use the gold you loot to purchase niceities for future runs, a fast paced arena survival mode, and challenging special trials to overcome!
- Most game modes also have their own online Steam Leaderboards. How high can your score get, or fancy a speedrun? Each Clan has their own leaderboards to dominate!
- Same-screen 2 player Co-Op. For double the fun and available for all game modes and Remote Play Together compatible!
- 9 Clans (7 unlockable) to choose from, each with their own weapons, fighting styles, and upgrade paths!
- Over 100+ items. From passives that provide general boosts and benefits, to equipable gear where you can use new tools, weapons and weird artifacts!

In the General Settings a new Display option has been added called Fullscaling. It's a bit of a mix between Fullscreen and Borderless Window so you can set a resolution for the game screen which is shown in the middle of your monitor and then any remainder space around it is filled with black. Useful for if you use an unusual monitor resolution and a cluttered desktop as it's a more immersive version of Windowed mode. Note when set to Fullscaling the Resolution option will also change to Resolution Scaling (which you can adjust) to guarantee that the game screen will always use pixel perfect scaling no matter your desktop resolution.

- When the player actor looks forward/back as the Minesmither/Bonehaunted clan then it will now show their flame animation.
- Sealed Domain - Ashen Palace: The floating blocks will now always be normal blocks (eg not haunted so you can freely experiment).
- Sealed Domain: When you unlock the fifth Domain Doorway it will now also show the Undying Pilgrimage game mode unlock tip after the Region unlock tip.

- HUD: The durability bar of an equipped gear item could show as full when at very low durability.

- Sullenwoods: During a Lexicanium Hunt, Hanged Haunters will no longer appear and Hang Hauntlings will always drop a Restless Heart upon death (and now have a small chance of doing so in other game modes).
- Runic Mineraliser: Reduced the extra bonus swing to just a free swing as in some levels it could hugely increase your bomb count.
- Telemond Time Trial: Removed the imp as he's rather annoying.

- The Olden Trial sub-stage rewards weren't conforming with the Seed and could give you a passive item you already had.
- Getting killed when the Boss also dies would cause a crash.
- Getting hurt on the same frame as the Lexicanium Hunt Boss was killed would cause a crash.
- Minesmithers: Their bomb count wasn't reducing when hitting vault chests and similar objects (eg blocked doorway rocks).
- Getting the Curseify Hearts curse wasn't turning restless hearts into cursed hearts.
- A crate containing a Seraphus Feather would teleport it downwards through the floor.
- The Binocularscope wasn't working in Co-Op mode.
- The Snow Globe had the wrong short description.
- The Game Over timer would continue if you killed yourself via the Escape menu's Seppuku option.
- The Rusty Key can now be used to unlock the Sinners Chambers domain region.
- The Wally Vomiter can now be hurt by the player's orbitals and item projectiles.
