Official update history
Hello Tailors,
This Hotfix gathers all the fixes we have made since our last update. Most of these come straight from your reports, along with the results of our own internal testing. Thank you for sharing every one of them with us, it really does shape the game.
Customers and the Register
Customers no longer keep shifting position while waiting. They now pick a single spot and wait there.
Customers now reference the waiting points at the register instead of the register itself, and pick the nearest available one.
When choosing that spot, waiting points on the front side of the register are now scored and prioritized, so customers stop gathering behind it.
Fixed customers pushing the player and blocking their movement in front of the register. Crowds no longer trap you or force you to barricade yourself in with furniture.
Fixed the chaos where customers coming to place or collect an order would cut in front of each other, making it impossible to tell whose bell was ringing.
Fixed clusters of customers piling up into a single area.
Orders and Delivery
Fixed the bug where an order was created from a random customer's requested clothing rather than the actual customer's. Orders now match the right person.
Seating and Furniture
The maximum number of chairs has been increased, so more seated customers can be served at once.
Cutting, sewing and add-on tables can now be sold, down to a minimum of one of each remaining.
Workers
Improved the material search algorithm workers use when restocking.
Fixed tailors not going to fetch thread and not restocking the machine, which left them stuck in a loop.
Vehicles
Fixed all NPCs standing upright while a vehicle was being driven.
Fixed standing female drivers.
Player Movement
Fixed the player getting wedged between customers with no way out. Without a jump the only escape was throwing a box, and this had cost players around 12 customers across repeated cases.
Thank you so much for reading, and for sticking with us through Early Access. Every report, suggestion and kind word you send our way pushes Tailor Simulator forward, and we truly could not do this without you.

If you have a moment, please consider leaving a Steam review. Reviews mean a lot to us, and they make a big difference in helping us improve the project and reach more players. Thanks for your support.

Hello Tailors,
This Hotfix brings together all the fixes and improvements we have made since our last update. Most of these come from your feedback, along with the results of our own internal testing. Thank you for sharing every report with us, it really helps us shape the game.
Early Game Balance
Production XP gain reduced by 25%.
XP rewarded by starting quests halved.
Level thresholds are now consistent at 420 XP for the first three levels. Previously 0 to 1 needed 420 while 1 to 2 only needed 280, which made the second level arrive instantly.
Opening hours and mid game progression have both been slowed down, so there is less to track at once.
Tutorial and Controls
Tutorial key prompts now show controller equivalents. \[ TAB ] reads as \[ TAB / Right Stick Press ], \[ F ] as \[ F / Button North ], \[ C ] as \[ C / D-Pad Up ].
The tutorial step asking for "C" now points to the shortcut shown in the bottom left of the screen instead of naming a keyboard key. This guides controller players correctly.
Scroll sensitivity was audited across every menu. Lists no longer jump to the top or bottom.
Locked doors now simply read "Coming Soon". The old details and full version wording were removed.
Customer Behaviour
Seated customers now have unlimited patience. Standing customers stay on a timer, raised from 60s to 100s.
A customer holding clothing who runs out of patience no longer leaves. They give up on changing, head to the register to pay, and their timer resets. If they still cannot get through, they leave without paying after roughly 3.5 to 5 minutes.
Fixed cabins that looked empty but were still invisibly locked to a previous customer.
A timeout safety net was added to all reservation systems.
Customers now find fitting rooms far more reliably.
Fitting room reservations are now released properly after a customer finishes changing.
Worker AI
Random colour selection now only picks from colours that actually exist in hand, on the cutting table or on the shelf. Workers no longer fetch fabric they already have.
Button handling now follows the same logic as thread. Workers no longer fail to find buttons sitting on the shelf.
Workers now finish a half done garment, sewn but missing buttons, before starting to cut new fabric.
Worker inventory matching is now fully identity based. Two items of the same type and colour can no longer overwrite each other and vanish.
Fixed a leftover reference on sewing machines that teleported a player made garment into a side slot. Workers now verify the garment is really there.
Every shelf accepts a single tool type again. Buttons no longer slide underneath thread boxes.
Statistics
Fixed the previous day and next day logic. When a day ends, Yesterday holds the previous day and Today starts clean.
Statistics now display correctly if you save after midnight and reload.
Localization
128 Chinese keys were improved, including the chair mistranslation. No missing characters were found.
Thank you so much for reading, and for sticking with us through Early Access. Every report, suggestion, and kind word you send our way pushes Tailor Simulator forward, and we truly could not do this without you.

Hello Tailors,
This Hotfix brings together all the fixes and improvements we have made since Major Update #2. Most of these come from your feedback during Major Update #2 release, along with the results of our own internal testing. Thank you for sharing every report with us, it really helps us shape the game.
Worker AI and Behaviour
Workers now have a small icon above their head showing what they are doing and their progress from a distance.
Workers now pick the sewing machine that already has the right thread color loaded, when possible.
Workers now try to return picked up items to the spot where they took them from. If that is not possible, they search for another suitable place.
When collecting or dropping off materials, workers now check all available options based on height and distance, and pick the closest one when possible.
Tailors now restock leftover thread back into the toolbox after sewing, so threads are no longer wasted.
Fixed a bug where workers using a toolbox with multiple threads would delete the entire toolbox after restocking.
Fixed the bug that stopped workers and customers from reaching the 3rd floor.
Cashier Improvements
The cashier no longer turns back halfway when going to fetch clothes from storage.
Fixed the bug where the cashier moved away just as a tailor came to hand over an item.
Added a dynamic cool down so the cashier does not keep running to storage non stop. The wait time scales with the queue length.
If a customer is waiting at the register and the needed clothing exists in storage, the cool down is now skipped and the cashier fetches it right away.
When you look at the register, a line now shows which customer is next in queue, just like with workers.
Delivery distance to a seated customer was reduced so the cashier no longer hands clothes from too far away.
Removed the order ID lock on items in the cashier's inventory. This fixes several delivery bugs. As a side effect, you can now take a clothing item from the cashier yourself if you really want to.
If a called customer arrives at the register but the cashier has no clothing for them, the delivery is now cancelled cleanly and the customer leaves.
Fixed a register reservation that was not being released when a customer left to try clothes on.
Customer Behaviour and Pathing
Fixed customer spawn timing right after loading a save.
Fixed leftover order entries that were not being cleared from the order book when reopening the game.
Customers that get stuck being recalled too many times are now removed after 3 attempts, so they no longer loop forever.
Door thresholds no longer cause the "I can never arrive" loop, since arrival is now checked on the flat ground distance.
Customers waiting in line or browsing no longer trigger a false "leave the city" timer.
Fixed a case where rare customers would leave the shop before even reaching their destination.
Improved the dressing cabin search so customers find one more reliably.
Furniture and Visuals
Furniture is now classified by 3 roles: Sales Stand, Workstation, and Material Storage. Each role can be turned on or off independently. You can now decide which furniture your workers and customers are allowed to use. The old paint screen has been turned into a full furniture settings panel.
Furniture paint animation was fixed, and paint variants for one furniture piece were corrected.
The folded male shirt model was adjusted so it no longer overflows from the furniture it sits on.
Fixed a crash case where removing a furniture piece while a customer was picking up clothes from it caused the customer to get stuck.
Salary System
The salary payment system was improved. Workers can no longer be overpaid by mistake.
Thank you so much for reading, and for sticking with us through Early Access. Every report, suggestion, and kind word you send our way pushes Tailor Simulator forward, and we truly could not do this without you.

All clothing physics have been optimized. Clothes in the scene now put less strain on your computer.
Shelf layouts have been reworked. Item alignment and placement rules have been updated, and button and thread boxes can now be stacked on top of each other. This makes storage more organized and lets you fit more items.

Drawer capacities have been increased.
A lid animation has been added to the thread box.
A swaying animation has been added to the hanger rack. When you hang a clothing item, it now sways slightly.
Joystick handling has been improved overall.
The joystick dragging issue on the add-on table has been fixed.
The mouse-style grip on the sewing machine has been removed. The right stick now directly slides the clothing.

Hello Tailors,
Hotfix #13 is out. This patch fixes a critical auto-save bug that could wipe shop progress when updating the game. It also brings a backup system improvement, a new safety net for edge-case save loss, visual fixes, and a fabric filter on vendor screens.
A bug that caused shop progress to be lost when updating from an older version has been fixed.
A repair kit screen has been added as a safety net. If shop progress is still lost in rare edge cases, the screen will appear automatically a few seconds after loading the game.
The save and backup system has been improved: on the first save, both the main save and backup are now written at the same time. From that point on, the backup stays one save behind as intended.
A shadow flickering issue on the map has been fixed.
Separate controller icons have been assigned for PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam Deck.
The Level Up window close button issue has been fixed.
The icon for the newly added ceiling material has been corrected.
An outline issue on the trash can has been fixed.
A fabric filter has been added to vendor screens.

Hello Tailors,
This hotfix includes bug fixes based on community feedback and results from our internal testing. Our main focus with this update is stability and preventing rare edge cases that could cause unexpected behavior during gameplay.
We fixed an issue where, in very rare situations, objects could fall below the map and skip the rescue system. This could cause objects to keep falling forever and create extremely large position values. These values could then break physics, colliders, and interactions.
With this update, objects are now properly rescued, map boundaries are better protected, and unsafe position data can no longer be saved or loaded. Position values are also kept within safe limits to avoid similar problems in the future.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to read this and to all of you supporting us during Early Access. Your feedback and patience truly help us make the game better.
