About the Game
This is a road trip game in an almost infinite random generated desert. The focus is on freedom, driving, exploration and immersion. It has minimal car maintenance and survival elements.
There are no invisible walls or unable to jump over small fences, or blinking red "wrong direction" signs on the hud. The car won't need 10-20 liter fuel over just only a few hundred meters, with a full tank, you could go approximately 500 kilometers. If you see a distant big mountain, you can go there and if you are capable, you can climb it. If you don't like where the mirrors are facing you can adjust them however you want or throw them away while driving at full speed. If you want to lean out of the car, or closer to the radio or near anything, you can.

Aaand another update!
You will find it in the "beta - Upcoming version test" branch.
(Right click on TLD, properties, betas, beta - Upcoming version test)
Please always make sure that you are running the latest possible version, because if this is not the case, it may cause problems in multiplayer.
After this update or later hotfixes, old saves and mods may become unusable in beta.
V2024.09.30b_test:
And we show 1 picture for you, you can see Genesz trying to explain me how the new road system will work, we discussed and figured out how to do a big main road, to witch all the smaller roads and paths will connect.

So everyone can be happy with it now, if someone wants to he or she can just follow the main road, others can scavenge the more smaller roads also in the future, we are now trying to make this work in the following days, and after that we try to put the nature elements back, and meanwhile trying to squeeze some more performance out of the game, and fix some issues with those ( like the draw distance setting witch is not working now ), and all that.
After that is finished, we want to fine tune multiplayer ( particle effects, explosions, more small synchronizations , and all that ). Oh and we need the bunnies for multiplayer too!
Aaand there is a song what can soon be heard on Neon Synth Radio!

V2024.09.29_test:
1. Fixed not being able to stop using the computer
( Would be a nice thing to fix this in real life also aHAHAHA)
2. Buildings are less likely to be underground
( Would be a nice thing if this would be the opposite in real life )
3. Roads turn more smoothly around junctions
4. Bit more buildings
5. Fixed some things in the dev menu and with the day and night cycle
6. Added a mouse steer hud ( press U to mouse steer, accelerate & brake controls ) so it is a bit more
usable, and more obvious, if it is accidentaly turned on!
7. In multiplayer, you can see now if the game is unfocused, the player who is not paying attention to

Hang in there, while we bring back the beloved mountains, cacti, rocks, other nature elements, and
yes we know the roads are not good like this, we are working on them so you can always tell witch is
the main road, but you still we be able to search and scavenge around other "smaller" roads and
pathways also, and we need them in the future because of the cities, villages, and other interesting
places.
V2024.09.28b_test:
1. Better Terrain Performance ( more performance boosts coming soon hopefully )
2. Added Lobby Name Filter
(hopefully it will find the desired lobby
even if it is outside the 50 limit)
3. Lobby List shows more data (map, game version)
4. Bit more useful and user friendly dev menu with pictures and item search,
removed some unused stuff, will have more settings later!
(now opens with )
5. Even less GPU usage in pause menu
6. Disabling Distant Terrain now actually disables it again
7. Temporarily lowered snow height limit so there are some snowy places again
(Will be raised once the mountains can be taller againafter road steepness is solved)
8. Game is no longer paused when opening the menu in multiplayer
(since you can't pause an online game obviously)
9. Temporarily added 2 full barrels to the start house
(one Gas, one Diesel), to make testing for you guys easier.
10. In multiplayer it is now visible which menus you have open!
