Wagotabi is a fun and immersive RPG adventure set in real Japan. Fully accessible to beginners, it focuses on teaching the most practical words and grammatical concepts first, in concrete situations: asking for directions, ordering a Bento, expressing your likes and dislikes, and much more! Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji are introduced progressively as you expand your vocabulary.

Role play in Japan
Personalize your appearance, explore Japan and talk in Japanese with locals! Use your Japanese skills to progress in the adventure by solving quests, situations, and language-driven puzzles. All the situations have been handcrafting with care to maximize the practical use of the vocabulary and grammar concepts introduced. Discover the Japanese history, culture and geography while progressing in the adventure.
Smart Tests
Built in SRS (Spaced Repetition System) enables you to focus on words you struggle remembering. More than 15 different questions types are included (build sentences, find the correct words, conjugation, audio related questions, etc.)

Note: The rollback on kana audio is due to several negative feedbacks we received after the previous update. This rollback is however temporary as we really want to improve the overall japanese audio quality of the game. New audio will be uploaded in the future when new recording will be done and quality will meet player expectations. Audio on kana, words and exemple sentences are the next planned target. Thanks for your understanding.
Fixed an issue where sentence block text could, in some cases, be displayed across two lines
Attempt to fix a mouse cursor display issue for some Linux users
