About the Game
Embark on a puzzle solving adventure in which you and a partner must prove you can communicate and work together to escape the haunted Castle Rock.
It all begins with an emergency flare lighting up the sky and a distress call waking you from uneasy dreams. Your fellow Antarctic explorers are in trouble, and the two of you left at base camp must work together to launch a rescue mission. If only you knew what you were getting into…
From the research base camp you’ll need to figure out a way to get to the source of the distress flare. Once you’re through the frozen Antarctic wastes, you'll find yourselves separated inside a medieval castle, facing puzzles, secrets, and dangers! You and your partner start out with nothing but your wits and a walkie-talkie each. Observation, smart communication and teamwork will be the only way to escape from the sinister Castle Rock.

Maintenance Patch
Our latest maintenance patch was a well over-due patch that upgraded our outdated code, engine, plug-ins, internal systems and more, which is necessary as preparation for the crossplay update that will be released with the Switch releases later this year.
With this, we've seen that the requirements to smoothly run the game have also shifted and lower-end systems that were able to run the game before, could now experience more issues with the game. Since our older games did not save player save files in the cloud, but instead saved these locally, this migration did not go smoothly for everyone. We've seen that our code was not able to detect the save files successfully for everyone, resulting into some players losing their saves.
Re-selecting your checkpoint:
Most players will have to re-select their checkpoint file by clicking on "change" in the menu, followed by "start new journey" to then select your checkpoint.
For players who are unable to select their checkpoint or are unable to smoothly play the game due to performance or connection issues, we have added an old version of the game before the patch.
