Give your brew a unique name, experiment to discover special traits, and ensure your ales reach unprecedented popularity! Dive into a vast array of over 20 European styles, meticulously choosing the equipment that best suits your needs. Adjust the quantity, quality, and mash temperature to blend the perfect brew. Decide whether to store it for aging, or sell it at the market. Put your trust in your monks’ brewing skills, and let them create the holy ale.

Make sure your monastery prospers and ascends to glory! Above ground, build living quarters for your holy crew, production hubs like Libraries and Breweries, and some all-purpose spaces, including the Refectory and the Abbot's Office. Beneath these heavenly floors, it's all about your monastery’s cold cellars (the most sacred of spaces for your brews). Design, build, and turn your monastery into a hub of holy hops!

It's not only about crafting ales, it's about curating a brewing legacy. At Ale Abbey, happy monks will need more than just a good workplace, they will require a steady flow of tasty ales. But that's not all! Appease Lords, befriend neighboring Abbeys, and handle bandit encounters... A tale of challenges unveils in the frothy world of Ale Abbey!

Hear ye, hear ye Fermentines📯
The monastery has been quite busy over the past weeks, and today we bring you the update that brings Ale Abbey to its 1.1, Requiem for a Brew! A hearty update that we have been painstakingly brewing based on your feedback, it brings a multitude of UI improvements, new world flavor, spooky surprises, and some much-needed “smoothing” to make things more palatable under the hood.
UI Changes
Cleaner, Sharper, Friendlier- Updated tooltip for fermenters and boilers when a valid coordinate exists, but the high spot is occupied
- Added ESC-to-close on bartering panels
- Added a Courtyard delivery queue icon and panel to track incoming and outgoing goods

- Added contextual tooltips to the Title scene

- Game time now pauses when confirmation windows appear (serial pausing aficionados, we have finally been blessed!)
Achievements
If you ever liked “cheesing” it, you can stop holding your breath now…
- The “Cold Cellar” achievement can now be unlocked by moving an existing cellar to the lower floors (it’s a feature, not a bug)

A major fix that broke the saving (TL:DR, it happened if you let an ale expire in the brewery, and then you sold by chance the specific barrel from the cellar that was assigned to it when the brewing finished, even if you didn't store it), some more fixes, and some QoL for the lists sorting (more to come) ːalemugː ːdrunkmonkː

We made two patches in two days, and then we though: do we really want to leave some of those saves-breaking bugs pending? Of course we don't! Hence, new patch! ːdrunkmonkː ːalemugː
A tiny percentage of saves might still be broken after this, we don't give up hope yet, but they do belong to reports in which the logs report no errors, the saves sometimes a very broken, once they were even completely empty of data, and it's super hard to solve. We are trying to make sure such things won't happen again in any case!
Various fixes
Fixed several causes of corrupted saves and repaired most of the saves
Fixed wrong price for Rooms in case of temporary discounts
Improved the UX for accepting new orders
Improved Rooms info panel to hide information on Adjacency if not unlocked yet
Ales in transit from barrel to cart are now displayed in the barrels UIs
Increased to 5 minutes the timer to decide the path to take for a World Event

Restored competitions normal occurrences after having been broken by previous bugs
Added logic to fix broken saves due to wrongly unlocked Witbier style (a few more patches to fix other broken saves causes will come in the next days)
Fixed the audio toggles (previously inverted with the last patch)
Fixed potential freezing of the game due to conflicting use of shortcuts in World Event panels
Fixed the wrong unlock of styles in a new village upon loading the game
