About the Game
The time in the camp is marked by heavy labor with an insecure supply situation. Is there enough time for the men to rest? Can they process the horrors they have experienced and mourn the fallen?

Your decisions between the needs of the soldiers and the demands of the superiors result in a unique story each time. But your choices don't change the war. They change the life of your soldiers.
The chaos of war threatens the physical and mental well-being of the soldiers. Again and again you have to make decisions in an attempt to face the fatal coincidences of the battlefield.

The Hospital Update has changed many core elements of the game, and with them the game balance. Although we made significant adjustments to the difficulty during the beta, it wasn't enough.
This small patch is intended to carefully make the game a little more accessible again. Please feel free to let us know here, in the Steam Discussions or on Discord how the balancing is working out with this patch.

Reduced exhaustion of work projects in camp by one step
Increased starting Physical Condition of some soldiers slightly (new games only)
Increased base recovery rate, which determines how fast injuries and complications heal (new games only)
Increased minimum recovery rate significantly, allowing even soldiers with poor Physical Condition and high Exhaustion to recover at a reasonable pace

This patch fixes a security vulnerability in the Unity3D game engine we use. According to Unity, there is no evidence that this vulnerability has been actively exploited or that anyone has been affected. We are applying this update as a precautionary measure to ensure the long-term security of the game.

Bugfixes
Fixed a bug in the Verdun scenario that could potentially break a follow-up scenario (including Home Leave)
One of the central statements of our game is that you cannot change the war.
Nevertheless, it was possible to play the game beyond 1918 if none of the soldiers from the start of the game survived until their second home leave.
We have fixed this bug in this version. The older version 0.9.3 will still be available via the Steam Beta Branch in case of problems or if anyone wants to start a playthrough that is theoretically infinitely playable using the instructions above (it might get very boring at some point...)!
