About the Game
Embark on a quirky road trip as a tourist in a two-seater pedal car! Traverse diverse landscapes where you’ll find yourself taking all the wrong paths. Explore your surroundings and take photos along the path. Solo or as a pair, will you reach the journey's end... or will you roll back down a hill, questioning the very meaning of life?
Stronger together. Pedaling and braking is more effective when both pilots are coordinated.
When things get frantic, don't panic. Trying to pull the handbrake or reverse at the same time can lead to disaster!
You steer left, I steer right, what could possibly go wrong? Everything. From mistimed turns to frantic braking, the road to the finish line is paved with hysterical arguments and near-misses. When you are not in sync and your sense of direction fails, your peaceful seaside stroll quickly turns into complete disaster.
While this journey is designed for two, you can absolutely take on the road alone. In solo mode, you’ll have full control of the steering and be the only captain on board... but that also means you’ve only got yourself to blame when things go sideways!
Can't reach the finish line? Don't worry about it. Stop the quadricycle, take a deep breath, and admire the landscape. The journey might be a catastrophe, but at least the postcard will look great.

Additions:
For new players, the first game will start with a brand new tutorial, teaching the basics of how to drive the Rosalie.
Tweaks:
It is now possible to start a game when offline or not logged-in to steam. You won't be able to invite and play with friends.
Added alerts when joining a friend to make sure both players have the same game version

Fixed another bug where you could get stuck in camera mode

Removed the "Exit" interaction on the side of the vehicle to reduce confusion. You can still exit the Rosalie with F key (default)
The input panel now appears the first time you enter the Rosalie
Balancing:
Removed randomness from the oncoming traffic at the trafficjam section. The gap between cars is now consistent, making this section slightly easier.
Hey Tourists,
We’ve received feedback regarding motion sickness and dizziness while playing Rosalie. With an "off-road" vehicle bouncing over bumpy terrain not meant for a pedal car, this can happen!
To address this, we’ve added a Free Camera Mode. You can enable it via Options > Gameplay > Free Camera Mode. This mode detaches the camera from the vehicle's rotation : when the Rosalie tilts, rolls, or flips, your view stays level and upright!

Balancing:
We added one checkpoint at the park, you can retry those fishes faster without doing the whole dirt road again.
Tweaks:
Added a new Free Camera Mode that stabilize the view and keeps it upright
Added a new input reminder (you can toggle with H)
Added new vehicle sensitivity multipliers for mouse and gamepad (so you can lower or increase the sensitivity inside the Rosalie)
UI visual Improvement: Added an animation to the "Throttle Boost" in the User Manual to better explain the mechanic.
Added some elements to block several shortcuts that allowed players to skip large sections of the map.
Hey Tourists,
We are aware that some people are experiencing motion sickness in Rosalie, possibly due to the camera being locked to the head movements, and that is something we are going to try to address in future updates. In the meantime, you can try changing the FOV and disabling motion blur and see if that mitigate the issue.

First of all, thank you for the overwhelmingly positive feedback!
We've seen people laughing and others screaming, but overall, everyone seems to be having a great time despite a few hitches here and there.
We know many of you are waiting for Local Co-op. We should start working on this soon, and it will be our first major content patch. In the meantime, we are focusing on bug fixes and improvements to keep the experience smooth for our early birds.

The Rosalie now spawns on its side... nothing to worry about, this is normal!
Introduced the "grabbing" mechanic right from the start.
Moved notifications to the topmost layer (they now appear above the Photo/Album UI).
Improved moving platform physics.
Removed cable collisions on container cranes.

Fixed a bug where the Rosalie would slide left on the first container crane.
Fixed issues where Photo Mode or the Album would soft-lock player inputs.
Fixed certain sounds ignoring Audio volume controls.
Fixed the timer not saving upon respawning (resolving incorrect values when reloading).
