About the Game
Brick Rigs is a physics sandbox game that allows you to build, drive and destroy almost any type of vehicle imaginable. Whether it's a dragster, fire engine, forklift, helicopter, plane, train, ship or even a tank, you can probably build it in Brick Rigs.
You can also upload your creations to the Workshop to share them with the community. And if you don’t feel like building anything, you can just download any of the over 200,000 creations already uploaded by other players.
The multiplayer mode allows you to experience these physics together with your friends. You can organize races, demolition derbies, dog fights or emergency scenarios. The rules are up to you!

Build 21819143
Feb 13, 2026
As of today, update 1.10 is officially out of the experimental stage and live on the main branch! Here’s what this update brings to the table:
Editor groups and welds are two pretty cool new features for builders. While they share a similar interface in the editor, they serve two completely different purposes:
Allow you to group any bricks together so you can select and modify them more efficiently. This could previously be done via color coding, but editor groups make it much more convenient. They have no effect outside of the editor.
Allow you to “weld” multiple bricks together in the editor, making them behave as if they were a single brick. Welded bricks do not require connection points and will never fall apart during gameplay. This should make building easier, reduce the number of bricks needed for connections, and allow for even more creativity. However, try to keep your weld groups small — for example, just a bumper or a door — to keep destruction physics satisfying.

This feature has been requested for a long time — and now it’s finally here! When you select a pattern for any brick, you can now adjust its scale, rotation, and position.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-10/pattern-transform.gif
Finally, you can unflip your vehicles without repairing them again, just like in legacy!
Additionally, there is a new action that respawns your vehicle at the last location you teleported it to. So if you precisely positioned your vehicle for a race using free cam, for example, you can respawn it there again with the press of a button.
Both this action and unflip are bound to the Enter key by default (tap or hold).
Since the old rocket launcher didn’t have proper iron sights or a rail for attachments, I decided to update the entire model. The new version looks cleaner, has a more usable iron sight, and allows you to attach scopes.

https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-10/launcher-fire.gif
A recent update made it possible to select the ammo type used on vehicle guns. Now you can also change the ammo type of handguns on the fly! This is bound to the Y key by default.
With this, you can fire target-seeking rounds from the rocket launcher or incendiary rounds from the BR-15, just to name two examples.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-10/br-15-inc.gif
As most of you have probably noticed, there has been a greyed-out admin login field in the match menu for years. This feature has now been implemented, and hosts can allow other users to gain admin rights on their servers via a password.
This is disabled by default and can be enabled when hosting a server.
Based on work done by Voultapher, this update introduces some pretty substantial performance improvements. Most notably, spawning vehicles is now much, much faster.
In addition to all the languages that 1.9 added, there are nine more languages in 1.10:

Build 20382499
Oct 17, 2025
After several months of development, testing and bug fixing, update 1.9 has finally been released to the public branch! Here is a summary of the changes:
In addition to English and German, we have translated the game into 12 new languages:
Since a lot of translations were automated and not reviewed by us or the community yet, we expect there to be a few issues remaining. We will continue to work on improving the translations over time.
If Brick Rigs crashes, a crash reporter window will now appear. You can choose to send us crash reports, including optional additional information. We have also created a bug tracker using GitHub Issues, available here. These improvements will help us find and fix bugs (especially crashes) more efficiently and effectively than before.
With update 1.9, we are launching the first native Linux version of Brick Rigs. Our goal is to improve performance and stability by avoiding compatibility layers such as Proton or Wine.
We have added AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR) as an alternative for systems that do not support NVIDIA DLSS. Like DLSS, FSR renders the game at a lower resolution and then upscales the image to the final output resolution. This can boost frame rates with minimal impact on image quality.

After several months of testing and bug fixing, update 1.8 is now live! Here is a summary of the most important changes:
The new spinner brick is a whole new type of scalable. It allows youto create arches and circles at custom angles, radii, sizes andshapes.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/spinner-bricks/spinner-demo.gif
Flaps are now also scalable. So instead of two different flaps sizes, there is now a virtually infinite amount of them.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/scalable-flaps/working-flaps.gif
Thrusters are finally fully scalable! I’m pretty excited about thismyself, and it has been requested by the community for years.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-8/scalable-thrusters.gif
Along with that, they also received a new heat glow effect for thenozzle.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-8/thruster-glow.gif
Old non-scalable thrusters are automatically replaced with scalable thrusters upon loading a vehicle. The input scale is adjusted so the thrust remains the same as before.
Besides thrusters and flaps, all of the following bricks are now scalable:
Exhaust bricks now have a setting to select the desired effect. Sofar there is the old smoke effect along with a new trail effect.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-8/exhaust-effects.gif
The display names and order of cameras and seats can now becustomized in the editor. The custom names will be displayed wheninteracting with a seat or cycling through camera modes for example. Theorder in which you could cycle through seats and cameras was sort ofrandom previously. Now you can see and customize it.
The following new sensor modes were added:
Color properties received a bit of an overhaul, both on the outsideand inside. Previously, color was stored and saved in HSV (hue, value, saturation) format. Now it’s using the more common 8 bit RGB (red, green, blue) format, which makes it possible to show and enter precisehex color values. Along with that you can now also switch the slidersbetween RGB and HSV mode.
https://fluppisoft.com/assets/update-1-8/color-property.gif
Internally, float properties, vector properties and brick sizeproperties were all merged into the same type. This streamlines code aswell as the user interfaces and allows features to be shared betweenthem more easily. For example, axes of all multidimensional propertiescan now be locked together, and you can toggle between brick units andmeters on all distance based properties.
