About the Game
Buggos 2 is a swarm-based auto-battler where YOU play as the Evil Hivemind controlling the murderous bugs. Conquer the dirty Humans by sending wave after wave of Buggos - eventually all will crumble under your sheer biomass. Gain control of each planet and eradicate any Human presence along the way.

Buggos 2 is a low-micro RTS. This means controlling the swarm is easy. Just set the Attack Pins for your Spawners and watch as up to 5000 bugs destroy the disgusting Humans. This allows you to focus on the high level strategies and the fun parts of the game. If you are an RTS veteran, you still have access to control groups and chaining command pins for those who wish to take things more into their own hands.

Unlock evolutions after every battle and turn your Buggos into the perfect killing machines. If you need something stronger for the next missions, reset your evolution tree and try something new. Stay unpredictable and try new strategies by re-evolving the Buggos as you see fit.
Unlock powerful mutations to wreak havoc upon the battlefield after conquering an entire planet. Mutations are game changing evolutions that can redefine how a unit works or how you engage with the game.

Each mission is tailored to carnage and crafted with replayability in mind. Paint the map in Goo and living structures. Make use of terrain features and alternate routes to blindside the gross Humans in ways they least expect.
With half a dozen planets and over 30 missions between them, the possibilities to create a corpse playground are endless.

If you are an RTS veteran or Buggos enthusiast - you can crank up the difficulty! During your campaign progression you’ll be faced with tough choices on which ways the humans adapt to the growing threat. Buggos aren’t the only ones who evolve anymore.

Hard + Impossible Upgrade Locking
Both hard and Impossible can now lock 1 more upgrade.
Hard can now lock 3 upgrades from being picked, the computer will select 1.

Reduced spawn rate upgrade from 4 -> 2.
Human
Robotics lab spawn amount decreased from 5 -> 4.
Robotics lab spawn rate increased from 14 -> 18.

Updated the evolution text for negative armor to be more understandable.

Found more places where we needed to convert from raycasting to spatial grid.
Fixed a small null ref bug on targeting from buildings.

Balance changes:
Human Units
Mech combat rating increased from 450 -> 650. This means less of them will come in attack waves.
Mech rocket damage decreased from 40 -> 30.
Mech rocket splash range decreased from 50 -> 40.
Mech base health decreased from 350 -> 300.
Missile Launcher base attack range decreased from 150 -> 110.
Missile Launcher base splash range decreased from 60 -> 45.
Missile launcher base damage decreased from 30 -> 20.
Flamer base health decreased from 50 -> 35.
Flamer base attack range increased from 30 -> 40.
Flamer base speed increased from 50 -> 70.
Flamer base attacks per second decreased from 2.5 -> 1.5.
Attackship base max health reduced from 375 -> 300.
Attackship base Attacks per second reduced from 4 -> 3.
Difficulty Adjustments
Impossible AI threat gain reduced from 1.4 -> 1.3.
Impossible threat decay reduced from .93 -> .91.
Hard AI threat gain reduced from 1.2 -> 1.15.

Explosive radius decreased from 10 -> 8.
Range decreased from 50 -> 35.
Fixed an issue with image size for the workshop uploads.
Level Updates
Updated structural defense institute to have a little more starting space in the spawn area.
Updated vehicle processing facility to have more starting space, as well as an additional nutrient fungus. Additionally the starting hive is touching 2 spawning crystals.
Impossible Human Upgrades
Removed fire removes goo from the pool (This may come back later as an add on)
Removed building repair (this may come back later as an add on)

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where deleting a production building with mouse over (press delete) would leave the disabled icon on the floor forever.
Fixed a settings bug where keys were not saving.

Swarm bot
Combat rating increased from 30 -> 60 - this means they will be put into extra attack groups less often.
Base health decreased from 60 -> 40.
Base attack range decreased from 10 -> 5.
Base attacks per second reduced from 4 -> 2.
Sniper
Base attack range reduced from 250 -> 200.
Base attacks per second reduced from .5 -> .4
Sniper AOE damage from bullet trail reduced from 30 -> 20.
Vehicle Bay
Reduced base spawn amount of attack ships from 2 -> 1.
Increased spawn rate from 35 -> 25 seconds.
Buggos
Leviathan
Base supply cost reduced from 16 -> 12.
Base max health increased from 100 -> 125.
Base attacks per second increased from .75 -> 1
More Leviathan Health evolution increased health from 30 -> 40.
Faster Leviathan's evolution increased speed from 20% to 30%.
Titan
Base max health increased from 175 -> 200.

Minor adjustment to the base increase of survival wave difficulty from 50 -> 70 - this will make the starting waves a little more difficult, but doesn't really affect the mid or late game.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug in survival where units would stop spawning around wave 46…
Fixed a bug where you could unpause the game after losing survival.
Fixed a bug in survival where units had double armor.
Humans will get BUFF if you are not killing them and they reach spawn cap.
Balanced the wave difficulty increase a little. It should be a bit less.
