About the Game
Burgie’s Cozy Kitchen is an ACTIVE cozy desktop companion game where you run a wholesome burger stand that lives on your screen, trying to recreate a real burger joint where you can do other things during slowtimes while waiting for customers to arrive.
Serve customers, upgrade your kitchen, and watch your little burger shop grow at your own pace.
✨ A cute desktop game that fits into your day
Play actively, or keep it running in the corner of your screen while you work, study, or watch YouTube. A bell will ring when new orders arrive, turning your breaks into something fun and satisfying.
🕹️ Different ways to play
🔥 Frenetic: Play actively with constant impatient picky customers.
☕ Relax: Minimize the game, attending to customers every 5-15 minutes, and brighten your day with short breaks.
📚 Pomodoro: Minimize the game, set the timer, and a new customer will notify you when it's time to take a break. Ideal as a gamified focus tool.
🤩 Streamer: Combine the chaos of the frenetic mode with your stream. Viewers can play through your livestream chat with a simple command and place the craziest order they can think of. They'll also complain if you mess up!
💬 Play with your chat: Integration with Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and Tiktok chat
You can connect the game to your YouTube, Kick, Tiktok, or Twitch chat to receive your own viewers and their orders. You can chat individually with your viewers, serve them any food you want, and much more! They'll also affect your reviews, helping (or not) you climb the global Streamers ranking.
*You can only connect to one platform at a time.

Official update history
Hey everyone!
I just pushed an update that adds gamepad support to Burgie's Cozy Kitchen!
I'll be honest with you all, figuring out the "right" control scheme has been surprisingly tricky. There are so many ways to map things, and what feels natural to me might not feel natural to you. So please don't expect this to be perfect right out of the gate!
That said, I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think. Some things that would help a ton:
Does the current button layout feel intuitive?
Any actions that feel awkward or in the wrong place?
Anything missing that you'd expect from a gamepad control scheme?
One thing to note: the ESC menu currently doesn't have gamepad support. The settings menu was designed with PC/mouse-and-keyboard in mind, and adding gamepad navigation there was getting complicated fast, so I decided to leave it out for now rather than rush it. If I ever do a console port down the line, that menu will be reworked specifically for that.
To be clear: these controls are not final. This is very much a work in progress, and your feedback will directly shape how I tweak things going forward. If you've got suggestions, criticisms, or just general impressions, I'm all ears (and genuinely excited to hear them)!
Thanks so much for playing and for helping make Burgie's Cozy Kitchen better.

Hello everyone! This is a new update focused on improving the gameplay experience and responding to your feedback.
🎮 Movement and motion sickness improvements
I’ve been working for quite a while to reduce as much as possible the discomfort some players experienced while moving around the kitchen.
In this update I’ve made several adjustments:
General control fluidity has been improved.
Controls have been slightly adjusted to make movement feel smoother and more gradual.
You can now change the floor color to lower-contrast tones, which helps reduce motion sickness.
If you previously experienced motion sickness, I’d love to know if this version feels more comfortable. Any feedback about movement or controls is very welcome.
🚚 Rider outfit adjustments
In Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, time is disabled so players can focus on preparing dishes and enjoy a more relaxed experience.
Some players didn’t notice when the delivery rider had arrived, and since this character is time-based, it could negatively affect their ratings if not served in time.
To fix this:
In Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, the delivery timer will not start until you interact with an object (pick up or drop something).
This gives you unlimited time to notice their arrival without unfair penalties.
⏱️ More flexible Frenetic mode and breaks between orders
Many players requested more control over the pacing of Frenetic mode, especially the option to space out orders more (for example, every 2 or 3 minutes).
Although this feature already existed through another mechanic, it is now better explained in-game:
You can close the restaurant gate between orders to take a break, reorganize the kitchen, or prepare for the next customer.
🙌 Thank you for playing
Thank you all for trying the game and leaving feedback. I’m still reading everything to keep improving the experience.
