The game features several difficulty modes: Beginner, Normal, and Lava mode.- Beginner: An option in the pause menu allows you to teleport back to the highest point you reached before a significant fall.
- Normal: No specific help, you fall in case of failure and must start over.
- Lava: You must climb quickly before the lava engulfs you.
Leaderboards
Track your escape speeds with leaderboards that compare completion times across different player configurations.Whether solo or in cooperation with up to 4 players in multiplayer mode, each step brings you closer to the summit!

Hello everyone!
After more than a month of work, we are excited to present version 1.8.4 of Chained Together, which introduces a brand new feature many have been waiting for: the creation and sharing of custom maps! This update is designed to unleash your creativity and introduce you to new experiences created by players themselves.
New Features:
Integrated Map Editor: Access the map editor directly from the main menu by clicking on the "Workshop" button. Create your own map using a variety of tools designed to facilitate the creation of challenges, interactions, and unique mechanics.
Publishing and Updating Maps: Once your creation is complete, publish it directly from the game to share with the community on the Steam Workshop. Updates to your maps can also be easily managed via the game.
Playing Workshop Modes:
To play a mode created by the community, first subscribe to it via the "Workshop" button in the startup menu.
When creating the game, select "Workshop" as the game mode and choose from the modes you are subscribed to.
Redesigned Settings Interface: We have revised the settings interface for more intuitive navigation.

- Added a "3,2,1 Go!" function. By pressing 'R', you will be able to signal to other players the exact moment to jump in order to stay synchronized. You can change the key binding under the name "Start Countdown."
- Added a version check. If you join a session that does not have the same version as you, a notification will appear upon connection.
- Optimization of trees in the city area.
- Other optimizations.

We've just uploaded an update (1.7.8).
- We've fixed certain achievements that weren't activating (like the one for the temple).
- We've created a new section in the leaderboard linked to Speedrun.com that displays runs validated by the community.
- We've corrected the rotation speed of platforms in "The Asian Shrine" level.
- We've added translations for Chinese, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Not all elements have been translated yet, but we will address them progressively with updates.
