Official update history
Endgame improvements:
- The 3 bastions in the final battle each offer a new upgrade (a new steward, more trade power or stone). Players can choose which one is destroyed/unlocked first during the battle.
- Make the Dominion tooltips more transparent: there are now infos like the needed damage to reach the next point and it also shows the progress to the next objective e.g. "Next: Bastion Assault — 40 Dominion: 8 Dominion remaining"
- Added an optional upgrade to "Reconstruct the Realm" that repairs all visible damages in the game after the final battle.
Tooltip Changes:
- Tooltips now show an info if the bonus effect is multiplicative
- Many tooltips now show the max level e.g. "Current Level: Level 2/15"
- A lot of tooltips improvements to correct mistakes, make mechanics more transparent or easier to understand
- Improved the consistency of colors in descriptions and tooltips
- Improved German tooltips that had "Fallfehler" due to a change how tooltips where composed
Others:
- Fixed a bug that could softlock the game when starting a run with leftover prestige points
- Reduced the spatial radius in which the Ironbridge reconstruction bell is audible
- Fixed a progression bug in Ashford that used a hidden damage number intended for reruns that would cause the progression to get stuck
- Fixed some sounds that were not respecting the SFX volume sliders and mute settings, especially in the last expansion
- Seal progress bar at the Royal Court now shows "Seal available" instead of "100%" when full.
- The panels for the finale now appear above all ingame panels but under UI like the pause menu
- Fixed a bug that withholds gold prestige if the game was played during certain old patches that changed the progression.
- Improved guidance during the finale with more hints, highlighting destructable areas and better feedback
- Added hints how to unlock certain endgame upgrades in their tooltips
- Added tooltip hints for catapult autofire
- Fixed a bug that would not grant Amdirality bonus
- Better Prestige progression tooltips
- Fixed a bug that hides earned Prestige points before reaching Tier 5
- Make most monuments available from the start
- Add clearer explanations to Vassal Doctrine tooltips and Royal City tooltips
- Fixed stalling decree timer when skipping a decree choice
