Official update history
Yo, Dealers, we have a fresh dose of DDS news for you, straight from the production! So, what’s here and what’s coming?
First of all, there’s a new translation update containing a ton of language fixes. We’re planning on more, so if you have any linguistic feedback for us, remember to let us know. And that’s not everything. We’re still working on further fixes for the game, and we’re also planning new things we possibly mentioned to you before, like a new server search. BUT. The priority at the moment is all the changes that will serve both the PC and the console versions of the game. More are coming at a later date.
What’s more: DDS2 console release date is officially here! You can now start playing your fav dealing game PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on June 17, 2026.
And what about DDS3? It’s gradually coming to life! The city is growing and looking better and better by the minute. We’re making sure it’s well-optimised so that it’s gonna work good from the very start. And you won’t have to wait with your pads on the side either – DDS3 is being made for PC and consoles simultaneously.
What’s in DDS3? Working cars, guns (YES), and new and interactive drug mixing mechanics (no menus in sight!). And more, duh.
We know you want to know absolutely everything there is to know about DDS3, and console versions. We will be letting you know about our progress as we go, so stay tuned for further updates.
Also, there’s still that DDS Universe discount going on. Wanna grab a game?

Hey there, Dealers!
We bring you a brand new update for DDS2. The bulk of it was dedicated to the missing translations across all languages. We did our best to fish out the missing translations and filled in a huge amount of text, but if you find any other instances remaining - let us know.
Patch notes:
Resolved various localization issues and improved overall translation quality across all supported languages.
Fixed an issue where players could fall through the map when viewing a hideout interior.
Fixed an issue where custom map markers functioned incorrectly on certain screen resolutions.
Fixed an issue where police patrols could become stuck near the green SUV in Callejon.
More will come. Keep dealing!

Patch Notes:
Fixed the map markers for discovered but not yet purchased hideouts which wouldn’t properly display. Now they appear on the map after approaching a “For Sale” sign near a hideout.
Fixed the issue with first customers not appearing on the map after loading the game.
Fixed the issue when, after loading the game, previously unlocked dealer spots had to be unlocked again.
Fixed the “Sales Multiplier” option in the Cartel panel not working properly.
Fixed the issue where creating a multiplayer session with the PC being offline caused a black screen.
Fixed the issue where the host exiting the game using Alt+F4 would make the guests unable to rejoin without restarting the game.
Fixed the sound options issue causing some sounds to be fully audible despite lowering the volume.
Step by step, we’re bringing the game to a higher standard and hope that your enjoyment of it grows. Have fun on Isla Sombra!
Heya Dealers, we continue our mission of improving DDS2.
So, the new patch is now live. Here’s what’s been fixed:
After changing the keybind, in-game triggers no longer show the default key.
The bug with lights flashing on medium and high Global Illumination Quality settings.
Quests “Set up a dealer’s cabinet” and “Hire your first dealer” no longer update at the wrong times.
Added a new pop-up informing about the situation that when the player first gives drugs to a dealer and then makes them a distributor, the drugs disappear and cannot be recovered.
SPOILER! – Fixed the bug when the cave thugs can attack the player after choosing their side.
Fixed the bug when queued orders show up as a black tile in a calendar.
Fixed the texture of billboards in-game.
More, as always, coming soon! Have fun playing.

We present the first update made by our internal DDS team. More updates will follow next year.
Patch Notes:
Fixed the crash that occurred when trying to purchase an item with a placeholder icon.
Prevented the situation when saving the game while on a boat blocked the character in the boat. Please note that saves made before this update, that blocked a character, will not unlock it - this fix isn’t retroactive.
Visual options now work and apply changes to the look of the game. Note that despite this, it is known that choosing lower visual settings does not significantly improve the frame rate since the game is system-demanding in other areas. We intend to handle this in a later update.
Leaving a vehicle by a passenger no longer causes the vehicle to be permanently blocked.
For the next 24 hours Drug Dealer Simulator 2 will be featured as Steam’s Daily Deal! And that means the biggest discount yet – 27% off on the game. If you want to get it for yourself or a friend, now’s the perfect time to do it.
What’s more, with today’s Daily Deal we are releasing the DDS2 Optimization Patch which includes:
- Reducing the size of game files;
- Optimization of game models (buildings, yachts, etc.);
- Optimization of water (mostly regarding its effect on your RAM);
- Optimization of textures and materials.
We’re working hard to make DDS2 better and better, and that includes its performance. And more is to come!
Have fun in DDS2!
