DRUNK-WALKING PHYSICS
Okay now, get yourself together and control your legs, one step at a time.
Sounds easy? Not really. You literally have to control each leg independently. Keep your balance, stumble forward, crawl if you must. Just try not to land face-first on the pavement!
DRINK AS A TEAM, GET HOME AS A TEAM
Rope sounded like a fun idea: chained together, like conquering a peak, right? It would be a shame if you fell off the bridge with this rope on and dragged the whole squad down with you.
WHY IS THIS CITY SO HARD ON US?
I suggested calling an Uber, but you guys wanted to take a walk and take some side quests, huh?
Now you're dealing with hills, stairs, bridges, parks, construction sites, playgrounds, and all kinds of sketchy “shortcuts” and suspicious bozos.
Every street corner turns into a new physics challenge waiting to ruin your walk home. Good luck.

Hi Boozers!
We just drop our very first patch. It adds some bug fixes and balance to the game.
We carefully read reviews and your feedback. That’s why we’ve decided to make the game a little easier by default.

Patch Notes:
If the ‘no collision’ mode is enabled, the character will no longer fall when pulling their leg too far (casual gameplay experience)
a rope getting stuck in the handrails of the underpass
a rope getting stuck when dropping onto a raft
shadows cast by feet were displayed incorrectly after falling
the ‘Steam failed to initialise’ error, which appeared if you clicked repeatedly while loading the game
some minor fixes and improvements
If you're a tough player and want a true gaming experience, enable the ‘collision’ option. The ‘hardcore’ option is only for experienced boozers

Hey everyone,
The game is in the final stages of development, we are currently polishing the gameplay and level design and putting the finishing touches on the animations, storyline, dialogue, and voice acting. We wanted to share a quick team update on what we've been working on and say thank you to everyone who's been testing, reporting bugs, and hanging out with us in Discord. Your feedback directly shapes what we fix and what we build next.

Demo Update — Version 1.4.4 (Available Now)
Our latest demo build focuses on fixes and quality-of-life improvements:
Localization & Fonts
We rebuilt our font setup for multilingual UI — including improved support for CJK and Cyrillic text. Several display issues in play mode (mixed glyph weights, broken characters on certain screens) have been addressed. We are still refining this system to ensure that all of the game's languages are flawlessly supported, so please feel free to share your thoughts on the translations and fonts.
Startup & Stability
SDK initialization is more resilient. Failures during boot are now handled gracefully with proper error feedback instead of leaving players stuck on a loading screen.
We've seen reports about this issue and spent a long time trying to figure out the cause. Now it will be easier to catch these kinds of errors if you send us the logs (there are now instructions in the game on how to do this).
UI & Controls
Fixed menu UI appearing over the loading screen during scene transitions. Gamepad navigation in the skin shop has been improved and non-interactable items are skipped, and the list scrolls to keep your selection visible.
Diagnostics
Improved crash reporting and log collection tools to help us track and resolve issues faster. Microphone selection edge cases and various display/resolution quirks have also been patched.
What's Coming Next
We're actively developing player-created content support for Friendly Steps:
We use Steam Workshop for custom content (starting with custom hats)
In-game Hat Creator — import a 3D model and texture, preview your creation, and publish to Workshop
\: Scenario/Map Editor — We'll share more about this later, stay tuned!
Some of this is already integrated internally; we're preparing to roll it out after release.
