Shape the Global Order
Diplomacy goes far beyond simple alliances. Negotiate trade deals, impose multilateral sanctions through the UN Security Council, form and break military pacts like NATO or the Shanghai Pact, join economic blocs, and compete for prestige on the world stage. The G7, G20, and UNSC are active bodies whose decisions reshape the global balance of power.
A Living World
Each country is governed by its own AI personality — aggressive, cautious, opportunistic, or isolationist. 68 scripted events draw from real-world 2026 flashpoints, while procedural events react to your decisions. Alliance betrayals, economic crises, border disputes, and regime changes unfold dynamically. Every action has consequences that ripple across the globe.
Command Your Forces
Deploy infantry, armor, artillery, fighters, bombers, helicopters, destroyers, submarines, and carriers across a detailed world map. Establish air superiority, blockade enemy ports, transport armies across oceans, and manage the fuel and manpower that keep your war machine running. Fog of war ensures that intelligence is as valuable as firepower.
Nuclear Deterrence
The DEFCON system tracks global nuclear tension across 5 escalation levels. Nine nuclear-armed nations possess ICBMs, SLBMs, cruise missiles, tactical warheads, and hypersonic weapons. Launch a first strike — or hold your arsenal as the ultimate deterrent. Mutual Assured Destruction is not just a theory; it is a game mechanic.
Victory on Your Terms
Pursue one of 5 victory conditions:

Official update history
Hello Commanders!
This update activates full Steam Workshop modding support. It also delivers transparent battle feedback, smart unit recruitment, and critical peace treaty bug fixes as we continue our strong focus on stability.
🛠️ Active Steam Workshop Modding
Steam Workshop Integration Live: Our Steam Workshop integration, which was previously sitting idle behind the scenes, has now been fully activated and is operational! You can now browse, subscribe to, and download community mods directly within the new in-game Workshop Browser.
Unified Mods Panel: A redesigned Mods hub displays your locally installed mods and subscribed Workshop downloads side-by-side. You can easily toggle them on or off and monitor active download progress.
Custom Campaign Tools: Custom scenario pipelines now support unit availability filters and hard suppression settings to allow modders to craft distinct military setups.
⚔️ Transparent Battle Feedback & Targeting
Detailed Combat Notifications: Battle result notifications are now fully transparent, listing the exact province name, the combatants, and precise casualities or divisions lost.
Interactive Battle Toasts: Clicking on a battle notification toast will now automatically pan the camera and select the active combat province on the map so you can immediately inspect the front.
Peace Expulsion Protection: Armies actively engaged in ongoing wars will no longer be incorrectly expelled from territories when an unrelated peace treaty is signed by third-party nations.
🎖️ Overhauled Unit Recruitment
Strategic Deployment Scoring: When quick-recruiting or utilizing fallbacks, the recruitment system now intelligently scores and selects the most optimal deployment province rather than placing units randomly.
Camera Focus on Deploy: The camera now automatically pans to and selects the newly deployed unit's province on recruitment so you can immediately issue orders.
Hello Commanders!
This update introduces our new Reserve Activity Tracker and updates stockpile visuals. It also brings dynamic economic balances, starting trade alignments, and critical performance optimizations.
📈 Reserve Activity Tracker & Visual Warnings
Monthly Resource Summaries: Added a new Reserve Activity Tracker menu that details exactly what was bought, sold, and what could not be purchased during the previous month, along with the precise reason for any failed trades.
Color-Coded Stockpile Warnings: Strategic stockpiles in the HUD are now color-coded based on coverage depth (green for 3+ months, amber for 2-3 months, and red for under 2 months of reserves).
Specific Shortage Alerts: Resource shortage alerts and notifications will now explicitly name the specific resources driving the deficit (e.g. Natural Gas or Lithium) to help you isolate supply issues.
💸 Strategic Reserves & Trade Alignments
Isolated Nation Trade Balance: Rebalanced starting trade flows for smaller or geographically isolated nations (such as Monaco, Andorra, Palau, Barbados, and others) to prevent immediate day-one economic stagnation.
Zero-Bound Stockpiles: Fixed a calculation error that allowed national stockpiles to fall below zero. Stockpiles are now capped at a minimum of zero.
Auto-Buy Depletion Prioritization: The auto-buy system now prioritizes buying the most depleted resources first and will automatically wake up suspended buy orders as soon as national treasury funds recover.
Dormant Resource Penalty Cleanup: Treasury penalties are now strictly limited to shortages in the 7 active strategic resources, removing unintended construction penalties from dormant commodities.
⚡ Performance Optimizations
First-Missile Hitch Resolved: Pre-warmed province coordinates during initial campaign loading. This completely eliminates the frame-hitch or brief pause when previewing or launching your first strategic missile strike.
Smart Map Overlays: Map mode trade lines and territory colors are now cached and updated only on game ticks or when changing province selections, removing redundant per-frame recalculations.
Air Wing Range Optimization: Range circle visualization updates are now gated to only redraw when base locations or operational range parameters are modified, reducing visual rendering overhead.
UI Memory Efficiency: Cleaned up redundant data buffers in the user interface to reduce memory overhead and ensure smooth transitions on low-RAM systems.
Hello Commanders!
This update introduces spot market slippage and dynamic economic balance adjustments. It also brings major visual fixes to our Globe View and campaign save-game reliability.
💸 Spot Market Slippage & Trade Overhaul
Resource Price Slippage: Selling commodities in large volumes will now realistically push down market prices. Prices will gradually recover over time. This prevents players from instantly gaining limitless wealth through bulk luxury sales (such as Coffee and Cocoa).
Strategic Auto-Buy Buffs: Strategic reserve auto-buy logic has been linked to your country's 3-month deficit. Enabling auto-buy will now scale dynamically to clear resource shortage penalties without causing treasury insolvency.
Trade Limit Enforcement: Standardized and enforced per-transaction transaction caps for resource trades.
🌍 Visual Globe Polish
Far-Side Label Discarding: Fixed a visual leak where province borders, country names, and ocean labels from the far side of the globe would bleed through the planet and show on the front.
Seamless Flat-to-Globe Morphing: Smooth camera transitions when switching between the flat 2D map and 3D globe views.
Cloud Elevation Adjustments: Raised cloud shell heights to prevent tall mountain peaks from clipping through clouds.
💾 Save Files & Multiplayer Lobbies
War Consistency Fix: Hardened save and load protocols to ensure active wars, peace conditions, and participant states are reloaded with complete consistency.
Steam Connectivity Debugging: Surface the active Steam App ID and connection status directly within the multiplayer lobby UI to assist with debugging cross-platform or regional matchmaking setups.
Hello Commanders!
This update overhauls province peace deal costs and resolves army marching issues. It also introduces improvements to the Steam lobby browser.
🕊️ Province Peace Deal Rebalances
Dynamic War Score Costs: Province annexation costs in peace treaties are now dynamically scaled based on the province's size (development and population density) rather than applying a flat cost. Under a typical war score budget, you will now be able to capture multiple average-sized provinces.
Accurate Interface Cost Displays: Fixed a discrepancy between the peace deal interface and the actual war score charged. Displayed costs in the peace picker menu now precisely match what is deducted when signing the deal.
⚔️ Army Marching & Stalling Stabilizers
Continuous Marching Support: Fixed a bug where armies would permanently freeze or get stranded mid-march when regional access changed (such as during ongoing siege captures or an ally's separate peace deal). Armies will now hold their final destinations and actively attempt to recalculate a path.
Owner-Aware Travel Access: Armies can now march through occupied neutral and allied territory as long as they are at war with the province's legal owner, preventing units from being blocked by third-party sieges.
🌐 Multiplayer Lobby Updates
Simplified Game Filtering: Removed the version-matching restriction from the Steam lobby browser. This allows you to discover and join active sessions more easily.
⚡ Game Performance
Simulation Memory Footprint: Streamlined memory structures for long-distance military path calculations to ensure smooth performance on lower-spec and low-RAM devices.
Hello Commanders!
This update launches official macOS support. It also improves army route behaviors, adds movement guards during AI peace treaties, and fixes localized naming suffixes.
🍎 Official macOS Support Live
Multi-Platform Support: The game is now fully supported on macOS platforms, including dedicated system optimizations and tailored cursor rendering options.
Cross-Platform Trade Alignment: Stabilized global trade calculations to eliminate platform-specific discrepancies, ensuring identical simulation results whether you are playing on Windows or macOS.
⚔️ Army Movement Security & March-Through
AI Peace Deal Movement Guard: Your active military movements will no longer be canceled by unrelated peace deals signed between AI countries. Active transit rights are preserved during external negotiations, allowing your units to continue their march uninterrupted. This fix is thanks to community member Cpspok, who helped us track down and report this issue!
"March-Through" Logic: Armies moving through intermediate waypoints will now march straight through to their destination without pausing to initiate sieges. They will only halt and begin combat operations at their final target province.
Transit Grant Revocation Cleanup: Temporary military transit access grants are now cleanly revoked as soon as the army returns safely to its home territory, ensuring clean post-war transitions.
🌐 Localization & Unit Naming
Korean Suffix Standardization: Fixed Korean unit naming suffixes and standardized military unit key formatting across international localization assets.
⚡ Game Performance
Visual Overhead Trimmed: Continued trimming background diagnostic traces during route updates, reducing memory and CPU footprints to keep performance smooth on lower-spec and low-RAM devices.

Memory & Stutter Reductions: Further optimized map labels and missile trails to lower system memory overhead, ensuring smoother performance on lower-spec and low-RAM devices.
Hello Commanders!
This update overhauls our naval transport mechanics. It also adds fleet and air wing merging, campaign save-game fixes, and performance optimizations.
⚓ Sea Transport Overhaul & Pathfinding
Automated Transport Waves: Embarking an army too large for a fleet will now automatically divide the force into sequential transport waves. Your fleet will make successive trips to collect the remaining forces and automatically merge them back into a single unified army upon arrival.
Flexible Coastal Embarkation: Fleets can now board and land units from any adjacent sea zone. This prevents armies from freezing in place along complex coastal provinces.
Improved Naval Navigation: Refined sea route pathfinding to prevent fleets from attempting invalid pathing shortcuts across narrow land bridges.
Disembarkation Visual Fix: Resolved an issue where army markers would visually remain stuck at their embarkation port after landing at their destination.
🛩️ Multi-Language Fleet & Air Wing Merging
Unified Military Controls: You can now split, merge, and disband Fleets and Air Wings via localized interfaces. This feature is fully supported across all 13 languages, including Czech, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Turkish, and Chinese.
☢️ Strategic Missile Rules & Save Fixes
Missile Silo Ownership: Silos now require active control of the launching province to fire. Launching a missile and subsequently losing the origin province mid-flight will now cancel the strike.
Save State Consistency: Loading a save file will no longer trigger retroactive Nuclear Deterrence victories.
Diplomatic Conflict Restorations: Resolved a campaign bug where previously resolved wars would incorrectly reopen as active conflicts upon loading a save game.
🗺️ Map Visual Polish
Depth Sorting Corrections: Adjusted the rendering layer of army combat and siege indicators on the world map to prevent markers from being hidden behind terrain borders.
⚡ Game Performance
Smooth Zooming and Striking: Optimized map label rendering and missile trail calculations. Frame drops and micro-stuttering are now eliminated when zooming the camera or initiating large nuclear missile exchanges. This optimization significantly reduces memory load, ensuring much smoother gameplay on lower-spec and low-RAM devices.
