Mob Entertainment
Hey everyone! We recently released a major update to our earlier Poppy Playtime chapters and we are aware that many of you experienced some serious problems after this update. While we're working hard to fix this as soon as we can, we don't know exactly when we'll be able to have those fixes in just yet.
So, because we want to make sure that all of you will have the best possible experience that we can offer in chapters 1 through 4, we've decided to roll back the update we released to the previous version for the time being. This will address the issues many of you are experiencing with the latest patch.
For those of you who have unlocked achievements after this update of chapters 1-4, have no fear, those achievements will still be on your account after the rollback. Then, once we've gotten this update into a place where we know it's going to deliver the experience we want our fans to have, we'll release the update again and you will be able to unlock achievements again.
Just to give some context for why we wanted to release this update now: we know a lot of people are eager for the release of Chapter 5, and many of you want to go back and experience the earlier chapters when a new chapter comes out. Our goal was to try to give you the best possible experience doing that, and to bring up chapters 1 through 4 to the extremely high quality bar that we've set for Chapter 5, and we wanted to get it out to you with enough time for you to play through at least some of the earlier chapters prior to Chapter 5's launch. Obviously, we didn't get it done the way we wanted, and we apologize to those of you who have had a less than ideal experience as a result. We're committed to making decisions and creating games with our players in mind first and foremost. That's why we decided to roll out the update in the first place, and that's why we're deciding now to roll it back.
We also want to let you know that our team is working very hard to put the finishing touches on Chapter 5, and we are very confident that it will meet and exceed the high quality bar we know our fans expect from us.
Thanks to all of you who have flagged the issues with the new update. Please continue to call out problems when you see them, we are listening and doing our best to make things right when they're not! Thanks also to absolutely everyone for continuing to support us.
