About the Game
Horsey Game is a tiny 37 MB indie sim where the entire economy is horses. You collect them, breed them, race them, genetically modify them via a tongue-in-cheek "horse science" system that basically lets you turn your stable into a min-maxing optimization puzzle. The whole thing presents like a cheerful browser tycoon game, then turns out to have surprising depth in the breeding mechanics if you actually engage with it.
Captain Games released it in February 2026 with regular content patches since then; this download is build 22948587 with all current horse breeds, race tracks, and genetic-modifier unlocks. The "create a paradise OR get rich" framing is meant literally — the late game forks between a peaceful horse-sanctuary path and an optimize-the-bloodline-for-the-track empire path.
Released with CSF + Goldberg, fully offline-playable. 37 MB total install. Single-player only.

- Due to popular demand, infinite silver shovel is back. But there's a two second cooldown to make you think about it. Otherwise, dig away! Go ahead and fill your world with junk and potholes. That's your business.
- You can grab items with the silver lasso and drop them in holes to bury them and fill up the hole.
- Text boxes are always on screen now. How hard was it to clamp an x value.
- Maybe fixed two songs playing at once.
- Fixed the stealing of various objects. Thank you speedrunners aka beta testers.
- Caves can be destroyed with the shovel.
- Plutonium now counts as food.
- Large horses smash fences less indiscriminately.
- Improved frame rate when zoomed out and drawing many horses.
- Attaching footwear doesn't teleport horses.
- Sumo 10% less janky.
- Abandoned track crash fix.
- Several loose ends fixed in certain extreme population cases.
- An old abandoned racetrack has been discovered! Bring your horses here to race them against each other. Look to the south-east of the Crispr lab. This feature has been tested for several minutes.
- Fixed a new way to generate infinite items. Sorry if you missed it.
- Horses will get tired when exiting the game in the middle of a circus event.
- Secret hotkey: in the paddock, stables, and Crispr lab you can hover over a horse and press 'g' to make it 'giddy up'.
