Starting from scratch on an abandoned rooftop, build, decorate and expand the coziest camp ever! Unlock new buildings and furniture, set up electrical grids, and neatly organize your new life.
You are the last survivor on Earth, fresh from the sweet, long cryogenic sleep. It’s finally time to chill out and stop worrying about job tasks and inflation! Relax, build, wander around – the world is literally yours!

Hello, Future-Dwellers!
While we're working on our massive April update, we haven't stopped improving the game. In this patch, we focused on fixing issues following the recent gamepad update. We listened to the problems you encountered and tried to address them all.
Work on the new rooftop is in full swing, and we're making sure we reach the April deadline. Thank you for your feedback, active participation on the Steam forums, in our Discord community, and for your reviews on Steam! Because of you, we can continue to make the game even better!
Gameplay 👾
- QTE tool prompts now work with arrow keys, as well as WASD
- Fixed colliders of some plants and crypto farms
- Fixed state errors in the diorama with the crashed airplane
- Fixed issues with construction in the Smart Tower zone
- Fixed incorrect damage from defensive towers
- Pump holograms can now be destroyed
- Minions are now prohibited from stealing blueprints
- Craftable items are now displayed at the top of the list
Gamepad 🎮
- Control scheme display for gamepad added to the settings menu
- Tutorials for gamepad controls added

Please read the below carefully on how to install the build, how to submit your feedback, and protect your save file.
How to install beta build:
- Right click on the game in Library -> Properties -> Beta-versions and enter code: "gamepadbeta2024". You'll unlock "gamepad_beta" branch in the list. Select it and Steam will install beta-version.
- Don't forget to opt-out from beta after finishing the testing to get regular game updates as usual
How to help us:
- We'd like to hear from you if you'll play on gamepad as well as mouse & keyboard, because UI has also been changed for mouse too.
- Please fill out the short survey to get structured feedback to the development team here
- Please submit all your feedback through our Discord, this way none of your feedback/bugs will be missed.

Hello everyone!
Our team is doing our best to combine work on new content and improvements to the existing features.
In this patch, we've addressed several pesky issues that some players may have encountered during gameplay (such as problems with the day and night cycle, which caused one of the initial quests not to be completed)
We also didn't miss the opportunity to improve the behavior of minions and fix other issues. And the second roof is now even more beautiful! :)

Here’s the list of changes for today’s update:
Minions 🤖
- Improved behavior and navigation for the Technician and Builder roles.
- Enhanced target search algorithm for the Collector role.
- Fixed minion behavior algorithm during recharge.
- Fixed an issue where minions became the default color upon loading, even if a different color was set before.
- Fixed a minor bug with the outline of interactive objects in minion target assignment mode.
UI & Controls 🎮
- Improved storage interfaces.
- Fixed the behavior of pressing Escape in the expedition code lock and at the trader.
- Fixed the fuel level interface in the kitchen.
- Now the watering zone for automatic sprinklers is displayed during construction, as well as the range of the Ultraviolet Tower's impact, and the connection zone for electric poles.
- Fixed a bug when transitioning from the pause menu to the main menu.
Gameplay👾
- Fixed a serious error that prevented the game from continuing (the player would stuck in the endless day) when removing the leech with a full inventory.
- Fixed the ladder collider on the first roof.
- Fixed the operation of the StopWeed Spray.
- Fixed a bug with falling through the floor under electric poles and sources of infection.
- Fish soup moved from the Drinks section to the Food section (no one knows who put it in drinks, maybe it was too liquid for food.
Graphics 📺
- Significant improvement of textures for the second roof.
- Shader improvement for the hologram of the Generator construction.
- Fixed the operation of lamps for improved beds.
- Added animation for the resource creation press.
- Fixed the position of the molecular synthesizer model.
- Fixed holograms when moving bushes and trees with a nano-transporter.

- Improved the algorithm for sorting and selecting objects for the Minions with the Collector, Builder, and Engineer roles.
- Improved cursor and tooltip work in the Minion target assignment mode.
- The charging station for Minions now consumes electricity only when Minions are charging in it.
- Changed the icon for Minion customization.

UI & Control 🎮
- Completely redesigned the Resource Printer interface
- Added the ability to use chests during crafting and cooking when you have advanced meta-chest technology.
- Added an option for the automatic sorting of the storage content.
- Sped up the day/night changing icon animation.
- Fixed a minor bug with the main menu selector.
- Added a Sun Hat to the Library.
- Added different states of the backpack icon in the inventory.
- Fixed a bug with the Biogenerator interfaces that used to overlap with the other interface elements.
- Exiting the interaction flower now occurs by ESC.
- Removed the delay in the ability to interact with objects immediately after closing the Pause menu.
- Fixed a problem with the confirmation window after changing clothes in the suitcase.
- Improved rules for showing interface elements in different game states.
- You can now drop items from resource storage directly to the ground.
- Fixed the text that did not fit into the notification area on the right side of the screen.
- Improvements were made to the appliance disassembly window.
- The Cryptoshop interface now shows the amount of U-coins.
- Fixed text on the buttons in the key assignments that did not fit correctly.

Gameplay 👾
- Fishing bait was moved to the Consumables category in the Workbench.
- Fixed a problem with lack of interactivity when there are a lot of items around the character.
- Fixed a problem when moving trees and bushes with a Nano-Transporter.
- Slightly reduced the interaction zone of the fishing chair.
- Sped up the appearance of the bucket in hand after its activation.
- Electric beds now consume electricity only during plant growth when they should not grow (for example, at night for daytime plants).
- Improved QTE work in fishing.
- The Ultraviolet Tower now consumes electricity only at night.
- Fixed many objects’ colliders for convenience.
- Added the ability to upgrade Electric Poles.
- Automatic Sprinkler now consumes energy only during watering.
- Resource Printer now consumes energy only during production.
Localization 🌎
- Fixed localization when trying to add an item to inventory with insufficient space.
Graphics 📺
- Fixed a problem with legs shining through the protagonist’s shorts
- Prospero’s Ball now glows during the conversation.
- Added smooth day/night change.
- Improved textures on some environment objects.
- Updated fishing zone.
- Other graphics and effects fixes.
Sound 🔊
- Updated background music for morning, day, and evening.
- Added voice acting for code lock in the Crashed Plane diorama.
- Fixed sound when throwing out several sheets of iron at once.
- Fixed the attenuation effect of the sound when you pass out from hunger.
Stability 📈
- Added the hard drive available space check when saving the game.
- Bug fixes and improvements to the overall game stability.
- Optimized object animations to improve performance.
Quest System 🌎
- Fixed a bug with an unfinished side-quest to learn the Canapes recipe
- Fixed a bug where the quest to connect the Charging Station doesn’t close at the third level of the Charging Station.
Achievements 🏆
- Fixed information saving about unlocked achievements
- Missing achievements will now unlock if the player didn’t previously get them due to bugs
Visuals 📺
- Updated a lot of environmental assets, fixed textures, and geometry
- Added and adjusted lighting on both roofs
- Updated the leech-carrying animation
- Fixed incorrect display of graphics settings in the settings menu
- Building holograms no longer cast shadows
Optimization 📈
- Added an algorithm for save file compression
Gameplay 👾
- Plexiglass storage has been added! We know you've been waiting for this!
- Added an additional connector for the Tier 2 Garden Bed
- When placing a construction in the nano-transporter, the connected cable is now automatically placed in your inventory
- Updated the leech balance (reallocated weights to prioritize leech targets)
- The flying backpack no longer interferes with the placement of construction hologram
- Tweaked the cryptocurrency farm balance
- Updated the range of the store
- You can now fill the automatic sprinkler from the bucket to the maximum
- Added and corrected existing visual effects for the kitchen
- Added an ability to place construction holograms back-to-back
- Integrated the second grade of the mechanical arm
UI & Controls 🎮
- Added a 3D avatar of the main character to the HUD. It changes depending on your character’s appearance.
- The backpack now automatically opens when you open the storage
- By pressing the right mouse button, you can now quickly move items to the following menus: Fishing, Digital Storage, Fish Cutting, Cook Mode
- Updated some icons
- Improved the system of showing/hiding markers depending on the distance of objects to the player
- Updated the button layout in the Diorama mode

- The game is now correctly paused when you minimize the game or lose focus
- Added a tooltip to fish: right-clicking it now shows whether you have to gut it in the Campfire or Field Kitchen

Critical Fixes
- Fixes to the Mariquinn quest completion bug.
- Fixes to the “Make a Burger for Earl” quest completion.
- Automated crafting of items when learning new recipes with the Workbench opened is fixed
- Range of environments removed that blocked movement of the character.
- Removed the blocker that prevented the player from activating the quest trigger while controlling minions - If you control the minions and step on the quest trigger, it won't activate
- An ability to move/extract the minion with the drone is added (a button with the lifebuoy is added in the minion selection menu)
Gameplay
- Fixed the possible problems with the following achievements: fishing-related achievements, ECOmate, energy bar, meeting Earl, the achievement of not eating biomass and not fainting before the party.
Gameplay
- Fixed a bug when the resource printer was disconnected after entering the "Expedition" mode.
- The crashed plane diorama bug that allowed interacting with Mariquinn prematurely is fixed.
- The infamous resource stacking bug resulted in having a tower of planks and other resources is fixed.
- You can’t now duplicate items in the storage.
- Sprinkler returns empty bottles back to the player.
- You can’t build around the broken stairs anymore.
- The Hammer won’t get unnoticed after you buy it in ECOmate now.
- Some NPC dialogues that were incorrectly used after you brought them to your base have been fixed.
Balance
- You can get more various items from fishing now.
- You can get more various items from the “weeds” drop.
- You starve slower now.
- The minion learning recipe now doesn’t have “Programmable Core”, but got the ink and a paper.
- The Cryptofarm balance has been updated.
- Traders - Stan offers mushrooms and Agatha offers potatoes only after you find the mushrooms and potatoes on the roof.
- More fuel capacity for the improved Field Kitchen.
Graphics
- The stroke settings for plants on the map have been improved.
- A clipping of large resources has been fixed.
- The tickets that you find in the crashed plane location now have a bigger resolution for better readability.
- Electric poles won’t spam sparkles anymore.
Audio
- Fixed a bug where the background music would stop playing after completing the quest line.
UI
- Updated icons: Water Pump, Injector tool (lvl 1), Saw tool (lvl 2), and the “Rocket” (narrative object)
- Updated building upgrade window.
- Localization bugs have been updated.
- Fixed a bug when clicking on the float (fishing) was not counted.
- Fixed bug with missing Press in the "Library" section.
- Fixed a bug where after splitting a stack of resources, the cell where the split was, remained highlighted.
- Adjusted the display of items in the "Library" section.
- Adjustments in the layout of the "Manage Minion" window.
- Adjustments in the layout of the "Storage" window.
- The library now shows only those tutorials that the player has already seen.
- Added fishing tips (line, and strong line)
- Fixed display of prices in ECOmate.
- Added automatic closing of the split stack window if the storage window was closed.
- Fixed a number of bugs related to stuck markers.
- Other minor UI fixes and improvements.
Other Fixes
- Fixed a number of bugs that could cause the game to crash on the loading screen.
- Fixed the playing of the power grid dialogue after reloading the game.
- When connecting electricity through the poles, the quest would not close.
- Chair interaction bug fixed (how did you even find that chair?)
- The disappearance of a sheet of iron, if thrown in the technical area, is fixed.
- Overflowing inventory of the drone broke expeditions and it was impossible to fly anywhere.
- After rearranging inventory items on an expedition, it was impossible to fly to any point of interest.
- The button to open an item from a merchant would not work after receiving it on the roof.
- At certain positions of the camera and mouse, the choice between two interactive objects would switch inconsistently.
- Fixed the order of actions for cutting wood and metal in the fence.
- Zoo and Abandoned Bus Stop gave only half the reward from what was promised on the global map.
- When buying several digital vaults on an expedition with one free slot in the inventory, it was possible to lose some of the purchased items.
- Minions stopped entering the built bridge after saving/loading.
