About the Game
What if survival games were not stressful? What if the end of the world could be without all the doom and gloom?
I Am Future invites you to build a rooftop base of your dreams, explore a mysterious world, start a farm, hire a team of cute robot minions, and make new friends, all while enjoying the chillest post-apocalypse ever.
Starting from scratch on an abandoned rooftop, build, decorate and expand the coziest camp ever! Unlock new buildings and furniture, set up electrical grids, and neatly organize your new life.
You are the last survivor on Earth, fresh from the sweet, long cryogenic sleep. It’s finally time to chill out and stop worrying about job tasks and inflation! Relax, build, wander around – the world is literally yours!
Nature is healing! Set up a farm, grow fruit, vegetables, cheese trees, and take care of your crops!
Play as Robin or Chris, and customize the protagonist to reflect your unique idea of the last person on Earth!
Find ancient artifacts from a bygone era, such as kettles, TVs, or microwaves, take them apart using a satisfying dismantling mechanic, and gather resources for your next crafting project!
Automate chores around the camp with the help of cute robots! Build a team of AI assistants, issue commands, and manage their workload. And when they’re done – let them chill in a charging bath!
Send out scouting drones on expeditions across the sunken megapolis. Discover new locations, bring something valuable back to the base, and, step by step, uncover the mystery behind the end of the world.
Collect fresh produce from your farm, catch some fish, and unleash your inner chef with numerous delicious recipes ripe for mastering!
The fact you’re the last human on Earth does not mean you can’t still make new friends! Meet quirky robot inhabitants of this new world, like Earl the Fridge or Bombshell Barbara, and grow your bond with them.
Your camp needs love and protection. Keep pesky mutant pests from destroying the crops or the electrical grid!

- We’ve expanded the number of different sliders so you can adjust the game to better suit your playstyle. You’ll find these in the settings menu and new players will see a welcome screen to select their comfort level.
Minions 🤖
- Multiple minions can now build one building at the same time!
- We added storage filter module for minions so you can set minions to only put specific items to each chest!
- Minions should not stutter while moving now.
- Minion Repairer should not repair buildings without a repair kit now.
UI/UX ⭕
- While opening the bio-generator you can’t accidentally eat biomass.
- Various UI/UX polishing and bug-fixing.
- Fixed red tooltip in the left bottom corner of the global map.
- Building’s health bars fixed.
- Timers in resource printers are now in hours.

- Scarecrow building recipe rebalanced.

Hey Future-Dwellers!
Since we launched 1.0 we've been reading all of the feedback, suggestions and bug reports. Today we released the next hofix that fixes a range of major issues you were encountering.
We decreased the stuttering issues you may have encountered so the overall gameplay and performance should feel a lot smoother. We’re continuing our work on these kinds of issues and will improve them even more with future updates.
The development team is working hard to release updates as soon as possible, but we need a little more time between patches to ensure they fully fix the issues and don't create any new ones!

Stuttering issues:
We decreased the stuttering issues you may have encountered so the overall gameplay and performance should feel a lot smoother. We’re continuing our work on these kinds of issues and will improve them even more with future updates.
Achievements:
- “Spring Cleaning” is now fixed.
Minions:
- Bug with the close button in the minion menu fixed.
- Fixed problems with minions recharging mechanics.
- Fixed problem with minions infinite watering.
- Fixed some pathfinding issues.
- Fixed pathfinding issues near the recharge pool.
- Fixed repair visual effect.
Other:
- Fixed issue with an empty workbench window.
- Some dishes now do not require fire to be cooked now.
- Fixed some issues with building on some roof areas.
- Fixed some issues with floor patch mechanics.
- Fixed leeches after save/load and under-floor issues.
- Minor UI fixes.
- Improved overall game stability.
- Added nanoforge sounds.
- Removed the ability to eat biomass while the generator window opened.
- Fixed some localization issues
- Added workaround for a situation when you do not have enough disk space for the game to be saved correctly
- Added Barbara's emotion sounds
The development team is working hard to release updates as soon as possible, but we need a little more time between patches to ensure they fully fix the issues and don't create any new ones!

Hello future-dwellers!
We have a new hotfix for you that addresses many of the issues our community was experiencing with our Minions pathfinding, Hunger balance, and more. Read below to find out more 👇
Minions: 🤖
- Minions watering mechanics should now work.
- Minions shouldn’t put large resources in chests.
- Fixed minions working with desalter.
- Minions shouldn’t fall off the roof area.
- Fixed some problems with minions recharging station after using nano-transporter.
- Fixed the “go to me” command for minions
- Fixed some minion's pathfinding issues.
Hunger: 🍗
- Cozy slider level 1 now decreases hunger by 50%
- Cozy slider level 2 now decreases hunger by 75%
- The character gets buff for moving more than one large resource with 50% of hunger now (was 65%)
- Changed the overall hunger rate a bit
- Decreased hunger status rates
Other: 📖
- Fixed problem with terminal quest on Carnival diorama.
- The problem with the strange character sliding on older saves should be fixed now.
- Fixed bug with achievements about solar energy and elevators.
- Updated library with missing items.
- Fixed Unicorp office quest.
- Resource printers should not craft from meta-chests now.
- Fixed water barrel pop-over UI Fixed chest, glass storage, garden bed, and generator outlines.
- Added new hints to loading screens.
- Fixed random chest sound issue.
- New sounds for elevators implemented.
- Fixed visual issue with building hologram on ladders.
- You can change the color of UV towers.
- Added names of the map points to the final screen.
- Minor UI and visual fixes.
- Minor sound fixes.
- Narrative tablet tooltip in dioramas fix.
- Various fixes with colliders.
- Removed information from the profile saves with gameplay time as you can find in the Steam profile.
- Added ability to pin shop items.
- Removed invisible place for floor patch under the cultivator.
- Fixed controls for using teleports on the gamepad.
- Fixed Barbara's moving arrows.
- Fixed problem with teleports right after you put large resources on the floor.
We're continuing to work on the next hotfix to fix all known issues and optimization.

- Fixed the bug in the Oscar's shop.
- Fixed the issue with randomly appearing infection thorns
- Fixed the bug by using canisters on the gamepad.

Here's the update you’ve all been waiting for! At the Housewarming party, it didn't seem to go just as planned, so it's time to win back some trust and build more of a relationship with your fellow rooftop friends!
Explore a new rooftop
We have a new roof - the Entertainment Zone! Hotel guests would swim, exercise, sing, dance, and watch movies. We've even added new themed items to dismantle. Keep exploring to find a new cosmetic item 👀

Continuation of the Main Storyline
The long-awaited continuation of the main storyline is here but where could we go after the housewarming party?
Now we have the answer for you. Although the story is not yet finished we do have some surprises waiting to keep you guessing.

Relationships
Develop relationships with your friends on the rooftop! After such a housewarming, it’s only natural that you'd want to cheer them up. As you develop relationships, you can give them gifts that you find on expeditions, play mini-games, and complete daily tasks! With each relationship level, new rewards will unlock for you.
The relationship system is our main focus for this update. We hope you will find it as exciting and fun to befriend a fridge as we did implementing it!

Radio Module
Have you wondered why you communicate through the Smart Tower? We have an answer: now you can. Every day, you will discover lost messages from the residents of flooded Cosmopolis every day. Some will even talk back like the Game Master! More characters will be communicating in the future, so check back often.

New Smart Tower Modules
In this update, we’ve prepared a whole series of new modules. Starting with the long-awaited tool upgrades. Spend as little time as possible dismantling trash!

Do your minions often run out of power? Increase their battery life! Speaking of our little helpers:

Minions
Speaking of our little robot minions, with every update, we give these cuties a significant dose of attention. We constantly work to improve the minion AI to make them smarter along with some new added features too:
- We have some new roles: The water carrier, aqua genius, and repairman. These minions will water the flower beds, refill the sprinklers, and repair your buildings.
- We’ve improved minion behavior and added statuses and custom routes.
- All minions, not just gatherers, can search for and collect resources from the ground. (It wasn't easy, but we finally did it!)
- Idle minions will no longer waste energy.
- Last but not least, Minions will now complete tasks to the end! Sometimes, the goal is so far that the battery almost dies. Don’t worry - other minions have volunteered to help to the end and then go back to recharge.

And a Few More Small Changes
- We redesigned the floor patches to look more plastic. Many players suggested they should be made of planks, but we have other ideas. And, trust us, carrying hundreds of planks for all the patches would be extremely tiring.
- New resource - reactor.
- There are three levels of repair kits with new models and animations. Repair minions also use them – be sure to check them out!
- The water storage barrel has become an essential element of gameplay. We have moved it to the regular storage category. We will return everything to those who managed to buy it with coupons.
