About the Game
Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a gripping roguelike, horde-survivor game with top-notch graphics. Choose one of the damned heroes and attempt to pass the Gods' test by fighting your way through waves of mythical adversaries.
If you succeed in all the trials, you will become the chosen Jotunnslayer.

Engage in adrenaline-fueled battles, fighting off endless waves of enemies as you strive to survive. Complete various objectives, defeat the final boss, and earn the ultimate prizes.

Take on challenging missions during each run to test your skills and enrich your journey through the mythic realms. These quests may involve completing specific objectives or overcoming additional obstacles as you battle relentless enemies on your way to the final challenge.

Improve your abilities with meta-progression systems that offer unlockable perks, in-game skills, or upgrades. As you progress further, you'll gain access to new abilities, weapons, and bonuses that allow you to customize your playstyle and improve your chances of survival.

Select from a roster of diverse characters, each equipped with unique skills, abilities, and weapons. Mix and match combinations to refine your builds and overcome the many challenges posed by the Hordes of Hel.

Face a variety of increasingly challenging Boss enemies as you progress through the game. Outmaneuver and defeat these formidable foes using the environment, your skills, and abilities to gain the advantage and achieve victory.

Gameplay Fixes
Local Co-op: Fixed a bug where the Archmage could not correctly choose all 4 sub-classes when playing as the second player in local co-op.
Local Co-op: The revive popup will no longer erroneously appear for both players if they are defeated at the exact same time.
Keybinds: Fixed various issues occurring when resetting keybinds to their default settings.
Environment: Improved colliders across Stygia to prevent snagging and ensure a smoother movement experience.
Known Issue
We are aware of an issue where Fate’s temporary experience bonus (Qualified Experience) does not function correctly if the player has purchased Loki’s Quickness permanent passive. We are currently working on a fix for this interaction.

Here is what is being fixed in today's update:
Conan DLC Fixes
Fixed a bug preventing the Triumphant Aspis trophy from unlocking for eligible players.
Tomb doors in Stygia now visually open and close correctly according to their state.
General Gameplay Fixes
Fixed a bug causing the game to freeze for some players immediately after summoning the boss in Stygia.
Level-up rewards will now correctly apply even if the game window loses focus during the selection process.
Improved player and enemy collision across multiple maps for a smoother experience.

We are rolling out Hotfix 1.2.1 today to squash a few bugs and smooth out your experience, particularly for those of you diving into the recent Conan DLC.
Thank you to everyone who has been reporting these bugs on the forums and in Discord. Your feedback helps us pinpoint these issues quickly so we can keep improving the game.
Here is what is being fixed in today's update:
Conan DLC Fixes
Fixed an issue where Stygia objectives would occasionally fail to spawn in certain scenarios.
Resolved a bug that prevented Trophy progress from being counted correctly.
Conan swords will now correctly require the appropriate resources to unlock as intended.
Gameplay & Co-op Fixes
Summoning a boss in the very last second of a timer will no longer cause gameplay issues or hangs.
Keybinding changes will now correctly apply to both players in co-op mode.
Ongoing Investigations
We want to give a quick heads-up that we are actively investigating reports regarding save issues, as well as the Stygia boss fight not functioning properly for some players. We are working hard to get these resolved as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience while we dig into them.

We’re back with Hotfix 1.1.4, a quick update to smooth out your experience in the realms. While we are currently hard at work on a major content patch coming soon, we wanted to get these specific gameplay fixes and UI improvements into your hands immediately.
Thanks as always for slaying with us and letting us know how we can keep making the game better!
Gameplay Fixes
Using a revive immediately before selecting an objective will no longer cause the game to hang or break.
Fixed an issue where receiving a double-reward from Odin would happen in silence. The correct sound effect now triggers as intended.
Fixed an incorrect description for the evolved version of Huginn & Muninn.
Certain system-critical buttons on keyboards and controllers can no longer be bound in the settings to prevent accidental soft-locks.
The Rune of Everflame can no longer be unlocked outside of the Endless difficulty as intended.
Improved environment collision across Alfheim to prevent clipping and stuck spots.
Improvements
Popups for new modifiers and difficulties now explicitly show which maps they are related to, making your progression path clearer.
We’ve refined the floating damage text for Critical Hits to ensure they are more readable amidst the chaos of the horde.

Quality of Life Improvements
The "Purgatory" achievement will only check healing done during the boss fight.
Gameplay Fixes
Resolved issues with Alfheim objectives not spawning correctly in Insane and Endless.
Fixed an issue where the game would get stuck after acquiring all available skills during Endless.
The Ear of the Elven King trophy now correctly takes into account Active skills only.
A popup suggesting file verification now also appears if asset loading issues are detected during loading.
Fixed an issue where pressing "Seal" and "Reroll" at the same time would break the game.
Removed non-Endless skills from appearing in Relax Mode.
Fixed the UI layout in the Skill Shop when playing on 16:10 resolution.
Kinslayer now correctly damages destructible objects in Alfheim.
The Alfheim portal in the Main Menu no longer includes pink crystals from Svartalfheim.
Fixed issues with Revenant's bow materials during gameplay.

Fixed an issue where the game could freeze during objective selection in Endless Mode.
