A BIZARRE GAME
Defeat the troll in his homebrew game "Advanced Troll Chess" so you can cross his bridge. But with over twenty mind-boggling rule changes to a classic game, this will prove to be quite a challenge.

- Rephrased rule 25 to be more clear. (even for troll standards this was too vague)
- Fixed an issue where the Altruist achievement would trigger when moving the black queen on a gift of knowledge during a legal move.
- Fixed an issue where gifts of knowledge would count towards the double and triple kill achievement.
- Fixed an issue where ascending pawns could be grabbed when fast enough.
- Fixed various spelling errors. (Both the troll and I suck at spelling / grammar)

Wow we sure are having a lot of incidents in the first week! This week the gifts became really useful in speedruns due to an unforeseen bug caused by the previous patch. A lot of records were broken. But unfortunately this also made one of the endings far too easy to complete, which is not something that I wanted to leave in the game. (Sorry speedrunners!!!)

Wow we sure are having a lot of incidents in the first week! This week the gifts became really useful in speedruns due to an unforeseen bug caused by the previous patch. A lot of records were broken. But unfortunately this also made one of the endings far too easy to complete, which is not something that I wanted to leave in the game. (Sorry speedrunners!!!)

- Added sound to the viewing of secret pages on the bridge in Act 2.
Bugfixes
- Gifts of knowledge captures no longer count towards ascension ending.
- The ascension of black pawns no longer counts towards ascension ending.
- Fixed an issue where the goose could be grabbed while it swam underneath the bridge.
- Fixed an issue where units could be stuck to the goose while it swam underneath the bridge.
- Fixed a visual bug where pieces stuck to the goose, still flipped when a queen captured another piece.
- Fixed an error caused by the dialog box before scene changes.

Hi everyone!
It seems rule 33 turned out to be referring to both the troll AND the speedrunners. That goose really is evil! I am referring to the funny exploit that was found by Phoenix Flare, where they made their game window so wide they could immediately grab the goose and skip the entire chess game. It has been fixed now, but thanks for the laugh!
In general I felt the goose ending was a bit too obtuse after hearing your feedback about it. So this patch I changed some things around. Let me know what you think of the changes!

- Goose ending achiement name has been changed from "Animality!" to "Bon Voyage!".
- Goose ending is now easier to trigger. You can now also stick pieces on the goose while it is walking on the board, instead of only when it is swimming.
- Speedrun mode now always resets your run when you start instead of only when in act 1 or 2.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an exploit where playing with a wide game window allowed players to grab the duck before it became active. (Thank you Phoenix Flare!)
- Gifts of knowledge now also trigger when being dropped while there is already another piece on the same tile. (Thank you Muu!)
- Fixed an issue where other rule breaks were ignored by the system when moving a gift.
- Fixed an issue where other rule breaks were ignored by the system when moving a castle.
- Fixed an issue where other rule breaks were ignored by the system when capturing the king with a queen.

It seems the Mac build got broken after previous update. There seemed to be an issue with the troll dialog box being unable to load dialog from the localization system. After recompiling the game again the issue fixed itself?

Wow! The response has been incredibile the last few days and you all have blown me away with how quick you were to solve the endings / achievements. Thank you so much for all the feedback and questions as well!
That said, I updated a few things to make the game even better (hopefully?!)
Additions
- Made the time until the goose spawns shorter.
- Added accessibility option to disable screenshake.
- Moved the secret pages in act 2 slightly so there would be less distance between them. (Even though it may look like it, I don't actually want players to search the bridge for hours.)
- Added visual display of which act the player is currently in, to avoid confusion with certain achievements.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where 101 leaderboard entries would show, instead of 100.
- Fixed an issue where slipped pieces would visually not stand upright after the troll would help them up.
- Fixed an issue where the accusation confirmation button would grow. (I do not want it to grow, why did it do that.)

After two long weeks I've finally added the tools for localization. Currently the game is only playable in english and (now) dutch. But I'm hoping to add a few more language options later down the line. You can adjust the language in the Text section of the settings.
