v0.5.6 is here with a full Music Department rework, new dedicated shelves, new flooring, product visual updates, and several gameplay fixes.
You asked for it, so I made it.
Many of you have been asking for more dedicated furniture for the Music Department for a while, especially CD/Vinyl racks and larger guitar displays. With this update, I wanted to give the Music Department the attention it needed and make it feel more complete, more organized, and more fitting for Megastore’s visual style.
Music Department Product Rework
Many of the Music Department products have been reworked visually.
Many product names have also been updated to better match their new looks. Box quantities were reviewed as well. In most cases, quantities either stayed the same or were increased, and I tried to match box quantities and shelf capacities as much as possible.
This should make the Music Department feel cleaner, easier to organize, and better balanced for larger store layouts.
Also, with the increased box capacities, your ordering workload should be reduced for the music department.
As more product variety is added to the game in the future, the Music Department will also continue receiving more products over time as the warehouse grows.
New CD / Record Rack
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/2351bbe7b2d516187d8c4c32b33d6132a6314f63.png"]
A new dedicated CD / Record Rack has been added.
This rack is made specifically for CDs and records, giving these products a cleaner and more natural display option instead of forcing them into generic shelves.
New Guitar Wall Shelf
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/7a8b6841a88d661f7fe314cd3b449c65f45956f7.png"]
A new Guitar Wall Shelf has been added.
This shelf can hold up to 10 guitars, compared to the much lower capacity of the older shelf options. Since it uses a vertical wall-mounted design, it can also save floor space while working as a decorative wall piece.
The goal was to make it feel both useful and visually fitting for the Music Department, while still matching the overall Megastore style.
New Circular Music Shelf
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/b6c5ca021c52cb40de6ea9c79695cd09b6bdd61f.png"]
A new Circular Music Shelf has been added.
This shelf can hold the same types of products that can be placed on the plain music shelf. It has three display sections and is especially useful for creating a more stylish presentation for products like drums.
It also includes wood / parquet-style details to better support the atmosphere of the Music Department.
New Stylish Music Shelves
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/96988c0fdbf81e1c620222b4b4f0ce1e276f5174.png"]
New Stylish Music Shelves have been added.
These shelves can also hold the same product types as the plain music shelf. A mirrored version has also been added, allowing more flexible layouts.
You can use them as single shelves, side-by-side displays, back-to-back islands, two-piece groups, or larger four-piece layouts, depending on your store design.
New Music Flooring
Two new Music Department floorings have been added.
One is a wooden floor designed to match the decorative details of the new music furniture.
The other is a polished concrete-style floor with a more energetic look, made to bring more character and movement to the Music Department while still fitting naturally into the store.
Fixes and Improvements
Fixed a movement issue that could make the character feel like they were walking over small bumps, causing slight unwanted up-and-down motion while walking on flat store floors.
Recycled, spoiled, or disposed of products removed by either restockers or the player are now properly reduced from the inventory, fixing a temporary incorrect stock display issue.
Restockers will now take the lowest-stock box from the box shelves first, helping box shelf usage behave more consistently.
Improved the transition when stepping onto escalators, making it feel smoother compared to the previous version.
Fixed an escalator issue where it could fail to carry the player while standing on it.
Removed the unnecessary light reflection/glare on the lobster tank.
Increased the placement distance for pallet racks and box shelves, making them easier and more comfortable to place.
Notes
Existing Music Department layouts should continue working for now. The old shelf compatibility is intentionally kept in this update, so existing stores are not disrupted immediately.
A future shelf rule / bulk shelf change update will handle the cleanup of older, incorrect placements more safely.
What’s Next?
Right after this update, I will be working on another optimization and bug fix update to improve the overall experience further.
After that, the Signages Update is planned to arrive shortly after, most likely around the beginning of next week. This update will focus on making different departments and store systems work together in more meaningful ways by giving you a different set of customizable signage options.
Once that is done, I will start working on the Butchery & Deli Update. My current goal is to release the Butchery Update before the end of June.
Thank you so much for your continued support. As a solo indie developer, every piece of feedback, every bug report, and every suggestion helps shape the future of Megastore Simulator.
Update Notes
Improvements & QoL
Added the ability to crouch, allowing players to get closer to bottom shelves or just lie down in the pool. While crouching, footstep sounds and head bobbing are synced with the reduced movement speed, which is 50% of normal speed.
Generic boxes can now be used to dispose of products into trash cans or recycle bins.
Updated the lobster tank water with a more realistic-looking version.
Improved product spoilage duration labels to prevent text overflow in some languages.
Fixes
Fixed an issue that could cause some furniture deliveries to arrive empty.
Fixed jumping issues. Players should now be able to jump properly on any surface.
Added a safeguard against restockers’ boxes spilling around instead of being returned to pallet racks or disposed of when quitting the game or ending the day while they are working.
Added a guard against a rare issue where bakers could place raw dough incorrectly.
Fixed some product overflows on tall beach shelves that caused items to be visible from under the shelves.
Fixed an issue where the upper-floor summer wall painting looked cut on the inner walls.
Fixed some naming mistakes on sunscreen and bug spray products.
Fixed an issue where some large music products could not fit into generic boxes.
Thank you all so much for your continued support. As a solo indie developer, every bug report, suggestion, review, and message helps me improve Megastore Simulator step by step.
I am planning to release one more update before the weekend, focusing on more improvements and fixes.

Hello everyone, Summer has arrived in Megastore Simulator! With Update, we are celebrating the summer with a brand-new major department to the game: the Summer Department. This is a large content update focused on bringing a fresh seasonal atmosphere to your store, with new products, new shelves, new decorations, new freezer furniture, and a new inflatable product system. From towels to sunscreen, from beach balls to umbrellas and inflatable mattresses, your Megastore is now ready for the summer season.
New Summer Department
The new Summer Department is designed to feel colorful, fresh, and visually different from the existing departments. It adds a new product category with strong demand, new ways to decorate your store, and new furniture options to improve both gameplay and immersion.
Added the new Summer Department.
Added 53 new products.
Added 13 new product licenses.
Added 4 new shelf types.
Added 10% bulk discount for this department.
Customer demand for this department has increased by 50% during this summer period.
This department is not a temporary event. The Summer Department, its products, shelves, and furniture will stay in the game permanently. You do not need to worry about losing access to this content later. In the future, if seasons and an in-game calendar are introduced, departments like this may have their demand increase or decrease depending on the in-game season. The content itself will remain available, only the in-game demand may change. And who knows, maybe when winter arrives, we may add a winter season department with winter products too. :)
53 New Summer Products
This update adds a wide variety of summer-themed products to make the new department feel rich and visually fun. You will be able to stock products such as towels, sunscreen, beach balls, beach umbrellas, inflatable mattresses, pool toys, and many more summer items. The goal was to make this department feel like a real summer section inside a large Megastore, not just a few extra products placed on existing shelves.
To make the new department easier to manage, all Summer Department products have box and shelf capacities that are either equal or exact multiples of each other. This should make ordering, stocking, and shelf planning much smoother, especially when managing the section at a larger scale.
New Inflatable Product Type
A new Inflatable product type has been added. Inflatable products are stored in boxes while deflated, but when they are placed on shelves, they inflate and become much larger visually. When customers take them from shelves, or when they are returned to boxes, they shrink back down again. This system was created especially for the new summer products. These products would not make much sense as giant boxes, and inflated products simply look much cooler on shelves.
New Summer Shelves
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/4b8f6c6bb3a9269c65d6d83a59cbd2086fc3302a.png"]
The Summer Department comes with 4 new shelf types. These shelves are designed to make the department feel more unique, more decorative, and more suitable for summer products.
Beach Basket Shelf
The Beach Basket Shelf is used for beach umbrellas and inflatable products. This shelf is designed to make large summer products stand out more. Inflatable products placed here will inflate on the shelf and shrink back down when removed.
Tall Beach Shelf
The Tall Beach Shelf has a bamboo-inspired design with rounded details and a warmer summer feeling. It works especially well with towels, sunscreen, and similar summer products. I wanted this shelf to feel more authentic and beach-themed, instead of looking like a completely standard retail shelf.
Small Beach Shelf
The Small Beach Shelf is the shorter version of the bamboo-style shelf. It is ideal for creating island-style layouts and combining multiple shelves together. You can use it together with the tall version to build more natural and visually interesting Summer Department layouts.
Beach Shelf
The regular Beach Shelf has a more retail look, while still keeping the summer vibe with its small wooden details.
This is a good option if you want the department to feel more like a clean retail section rather than a heavily themed beach corner.
All three Beach Shelf variants can hold the same product types. In storage requirements, you will see them grouped under Beach Shelf, but the furniture options are separated as Tall Beach Shelf, Small Beach Shelf, and Beach Shelf.
Display Pool
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/80195ad4954eecfa54ac69b8fc5c2cbd948536b7.gif"]
You can place it inside or outside your store to showcase inflatable products and add a strong summer visual element to your Summer Department.
For now, this pool is purely decorative, but it helps improve the summer vibe of the section and makes inflatable products feel more natural, playful, and eye-catching.
In the near future, I want the display furniture, such as mannequins, dressing rooms, and display pools, to have an actual effect on the sales of their related departments.
More decorative and display-focused furniture like this will continue to be added over time, helping each department feel more unique, alive, and visually connected to its products.
New Summer Wall and Flooring
A new wall and a new flooring option have been added for the Summer Department. For the wall, the goal was to create a warm beach-side feeling. I chose a color that reflects sand, sunlight, and summer warmth, supported with a palm tree pattern to strengthen the department identity. For the flooring, I wanted something that feels closer to clear sea water. The new flooring uses an aqua / turquoise tone with a slightly shiny pattern, helping the department feel brighter, fresher, and more refreshing.
2 New Freezer Types [img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/05297e7689fd212b2695a8b324a0fe986b13f09a.png"]
Update 0.5.4 also adds 2 new freezer types. The goal with these freezers is not only to increase freezer capacity, but also to improve the overall Megastore feeling and immersion. The previous freezer units worked well functionally, but visually they could feel a bit too small, closer to something you would see in a small market. These new freezer types are larger, more realistic, and much better suited for a large Megastore environment.
Added 2 new large freezer types.
You can create realistic freezer island layouts.
One of the freezer types can be used as a corner piece.
They have much higher capacity than previous freezer units.
With only 3 of these new freezers, you can cover your entire grocery freezer section.
These new freezers should make grocery freezer areas look much more impressive and realistic. You can now build proper freezer islands that better match the scale and atmosphere of a large Megastore. I want to keep adding more furniture and visual improvements like this over time. Updates that improve immersion, department identity, and the overall Megastore atmosphere will continue to be part of development.
More Improvements Will Follow
After this update, smaller patches will continue to arrive with quality-of-life improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes. While you enjoy the summer in your Megastore, I will keep polishing the update and improving the experience with follow-up patches.
Thank you for playing and supporting Megastore Simulator. I hope you enjoy building your new Summer Department!
Hello everyone, Update 0.5.3 is now available.
The main focus of this update is restocker efficiency. Restockers were sometimes walking much more than necessary, especially in larger stores and warehouses. They were not grouping their work between floors efficiently, and they were not planning their routes as well as they should.
With this update, a lot of unnecessary movement and redundant work have been removed. Restockers now plan their warehouse and shelf routes much better, finish first-floor jobs before moving to the second floor, and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth walking.
It is hard to give an exact percentage for the improvement, since it depends heavily on your store layout. However, in larger layouts, I expect this to make a very noticeable difference, potentially close to around 50% better efficiency in some cases.
Restockers should now work in a much more optimized and effective way, especially as warehouses continue to grow.
Restocker Efficiency & Warehouse
Restocker efficiency has been significantly improved.
Restockers now plan their warehouse pathing better to spend less time taking boxes from storage.
Restockers now group their work between floors more efficiently.
Restockers now finish assigned first-floor jobs before moving to second-floor jobs.
Restockers now take boxes from the Box Holding Area last, since it is usually already on their path toward the store.
Unnecessary restocker movement and redundant work have been reduced.
Fixed an issue where restockers could go to dispose of trash even when there were no boxes left on the trolley.
Fixed an issue where restockers could incorrectly place boxes in the Box Holding Area.
Fixed missing box issues. Missing boxes should now be properly returned.
Restockers will no longer block a pallet rack or box shelf if the box they picked up is already spoiled and needs to be disposed of
Cold Storage
Employees now only open the walk-in freezer doors when they are actually heading inside.
Employees now only close the walk-in freezer doors when they are leaving, and the player is not inside. No more restockers closing doors on your face ːsteamhappyː
Box Shelf & Pallet Rack
Box Shelf and Pallet Rack hover windows now show spoilage as a range for all contained boxes. This improves the user experience to follow the spoilage amount more closely.
All boxes now show their spoilage percentage, even when it is 0%, removing the confusion about whether the product is spoiling at that time.
Taking boxes from the box shelves with the trolley is now enabled.
Fixed an issue where Box Shelves allowed starting a movement while a box was still in the air, which could make them stuck on placement.
Box Handling
Fixed an issue from the previous version where restockers could leave boxes scattered on the ground if the game was exited or the day was ended while they were still working.
Fixed an issue where some of your stocks could be sent behind the megastore building upon interaction. Those boxes should now be properly returned to the storefront.
Info: This is not a new system, but I wanted to clarify how it works. When you exit the game or end the day, any boxes currently carried by restockers or unloaders are handled instantly. Boxes taken from racks or shelves are returned to their original place, boxes taken from the ground are moved to the Box Holding Area, and empty or spoiled boxes are sent to the trash.
Performance
Small optimizations have been made around physics, rendering, RAM usage, VRAM usage, and build size.
Known Issue
There is still a case where an empty Cold Storage object may not be packable. Restarting the game should currently resolve it, and a proper fix is planned.
I am also planning another update later this week. It will be a surprise content update, and I will continue fixing the remaining small Cold Storage-related issues. Thank you, everyone, for your reports and feedback.
Hello everyone,
I’m closely monitoring the transition friction some existing saves are experiencing with the Cold Storage update. This mostly affects older saves with large existing inventories, while new saves progress through Cold Storage much more naturally.
Just wanted to repeat some of the key points of spoilage to make it clearer.
Your old inventory does NOT spoil. There is no need to panic or rush your entire warehouse into Walk-in Freezers immediately.
Basically, products only spoil if they are stored at the wrong temperature on pallet racks or box shelves, or if they are taken from a truck and left on the ground for too long by the player.
Products that are already out of boxes will not spoil, and your employees will not cause products to spoil either. Your existing inventory is safe; only newly ordered boxed products are affected by this system.
This hotfix focuses on improving the Cold Storage experience, addressing reported issues, and making several gameplay systems smoother and less restrictive.
Quality of Life Improvements
Added a new option to convert Pallet Racks into Compact Pallet Racks when they contain 6 pallets or fewer.
This greatly reduces the work needed to transition existing storage into Walk-in Freezers.
Instead of fully unloading and reorganizing old racks, you can now remove only 4 pallets from a full rack and convert the remaining rack directly, making the %60+ of the transition automatic to the walk-in freezers.
The $200 price difference is refunded automatically.
Pallet positions do not matter. Only the total pallet count needs to be 6 or fewer.
Step 1. Unload pallets with the vehicle of your choosing if the rack has more than 6 pallets
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/159f4893c68bd7945c704470e506d1ca46f5f9e3.gif"]
Step 2. Convert Pallet Rack into Compact Pallet Rack by pressing "C"
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/faff64f377716e148e091083eced57d3da39ebe6.gif"]
Step 3. Move the compact pallet rack to the walk-in freezer with the needed temperature
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/cd7068992d825d5595b2da2c996b93f50314efae.gif"]Increased the walk-in freezer placement distance from 4.5 units to 9 units, making them much easier to place.
Walk-in Freezers now cost 50% less.
Bulk orders for Box Shelves now match the shelf’s full capacity.
Spoilage times have been doubled, making products more resilient and giving you more time to move them into proper storage.
Bay close buttons can now be interacted with while operating a pallet jack, using a trolley, or holding a box.
Balance Changes
Restockers and unloaders now move and work 15% faster.
Grocery and Bakery products now have an up to 50% higher chance of being picked in larger quantities from the same shelf.
This increases the sold item count for the Grocery and Bakery departments.
This does not reduce sales from other departments.
This does not negatively affect overall customer demand.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where spoiled dough could still be placed on trays.
Fixed an issue where individual product daily sales could be added incorrectly in the Statistics window for the last day.
Walk-in Freezer blockers have been made smaller, making placement easier and less restrictive.
Fixed an issue where custom sign colors were not saved if the selected color was not confirmed through the color palette window.
More quality-of-life improvements are already on the way. I’m aware of the remaining door-related issues, including restockers and employees interacting with doors in awkward ways or closing doors on your face when you are inside.
I’m also closely monitoring everything being reported by the community. Updates and polish will continue until the transition into Cold Storage feels smooth and comfortable for everyone. Thank you for all your support and feedback
Previously, Walk-in Freezers could be moved or packed by hovering over their control panel. With this hotfix, you can now also move or pack them by hovering over the front face/door side, just like regular furniture.
Fixes & Improvements
- The front face of Walk-in Freezers can now also be used for moving and packing, making them much easier to interact with.
- Fixed an issue where warehouse dock unlocking could be offset by one expansion.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent changing the game language.
Hello everyone,
The Cold Storage Update(v0.5.0) is here, introducing one of the biggest new systems added to Megastore Simulator so far: temperature-based product storage.
With this update, many products now have specific storage requirements. Some products need to stay cool, some need to be refrigerated, and some must be kept frozen. If they are stored incorrectly, they can now spoil, take freeze damage, or lose their cold chain.
This update adds Walk-in Freezers, new box types, box shelves, compact pallet racks, cold storage requirements, generic boxes, warehouse expansion improvements, and a new foundation for future freshness and temperature-based gameplay systems.
Don’t worry, your existing stock will not spoil.
You can take your time transitioning to Walk-in Freezers without rushing or losing your current products.
Cold Storage System
Products that require special storage now have a safe temperature range.
If a product is stored too warm, it will undergo spoilage damage.
If a product is stored too cold, it will freeze damage.
Frozen products work differently: if they are not kept cold enough, they begin to thaw. Once the cold chain is broken, they become unusable and must be disposed of.
Products are grouped into clear storage types:
Cool: 6°C - 12°C / 43°F - 54°F
Fridge: 0°C - 5°C / 32°F - 41°F
Freezer: -18°C - -1°C / 0°F - 30°F
You do not need to memorize every temperature. Walk-in Freezer control panels show the current storage mode based on the temperature you set.
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/d2e1e38b3e307ed42836ea5894312e60d2bf0747.gif"]
Each product also has a temperature sensitivity level. This determines how long it can survive in unsafe conditions.
Low: 96h warm / 36h cold
Medium: 48h warm / 24h cold
High: 24h warm / 12h cold
Critical: 12h warm / 6h cold
Cold damage usually happens faster than warm spoilage, so putting fresh products into a freezer can become a serious problem quickly.
The purchasing screen shows where each product should be stored, how long it can survive in unsafe temperatures, and how sensitive it is. Sensitivity is color-coded from green to red.
A total of 132 products are currently included in the Cold Storage system.
You can check which storage mode a product needs by hovering over the product, box, or pallet UI. In most cases, it also follows common sense.
As a general rule:
All Produce products require Cool storage.
Grocery products sold as freezer items require Freezer storage.
Grocery products sold as fridge items and all Bakery products require Fridge storage.
The UI will always show the required storage type and current damage amount, so you do not need to guess or memorize every product.
Please note that eggs, luncheon meat, and soups do not require any special storage conditions. Their display shelving will also be changed to regular shelves soon.
To help you set up, existing items will not spoil. Special-storage products will be placed in white Perishable Boxes. Wooden boxes also need Cool storage for bakery and produce items.
Spoilage is calculated in in-game minutes, so your items will not start spoiling until you begin the next day. The goal of this system is not to add stress but to add a nice management layer. I always want to keep the gameplay cozy, relaxing, and enjoyable.
How Spoilage Works
Products only start degrading when they are in an unsafe environment.
To keep the system relaxed and avoid punishing players unfairly, degradation is paused in several cases:
Products that are stored correctly inside the cold storage
Products placed on the display shelves
Products placed on trays
Products being carried by the player
Products being carried by restockers or unloaders
Products inside delivery trucks
Products in the return area
Basically, products only spoil if they are stored at the wrong temperature on pallet racks or box shelves, or if they are taken from a truck and left on the ground for too long by the player.
Products that are already out of boxes will not spoil, and your employees will not cause products to spoil either. Your existing inventory is safe; only newly ordered boxed products are affected by this system.
The product spoilage is progressing with in-game minutes, meaning if you haven't started the day, your products won't start spoiling. Giving you time to organize your warehouse without stressing about the spoilage factor.
Every area outside temperature-controlled storage is currently treated as room temperature, around 25°C / 77°F
If a product requires cold storage and is left in these areas, it will begin degrading based on its sensitivity.
This also gives us a flexible foundation for future systems. Right now, room temperature is fixed for simplicity, but in the future, weather or seasonal temperatures could affect storage conditions. For example, cold winter hours could make it safer to keep some Cool-storage products outside Walk-in Freezers for a while.
The system is also built to support expiry dates and stricter difficulty settings in the future. For now, these features are not enabled because the default game mode is meant to stay cozy and relaxing. That will always remain the focus of the standard experience, but this system gives us more room for optional harder modes later.
Walk-in Freezers
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/fa5818646640a850f016a52187e2ec7472314eb3.gif"]
Walk-in Freezers are new temperature-controlled storage rooms.
They create a temperature zone around them, and everything inside that zone is affected by the temperature you set. You can place boxes directly inside them, or organize them using the new box shelves and compact pallet racks.
There are three sizes:
Small Walk-in Freezer: 1×1 tile footprint
Medium Walk-in Freezer: 1×2 tile footprint
Large Walk-in Freezer: 2×2 tile footprint
Each Walk-in Freezer has its own control panel. You can adjust the temperature from this panel and see the current mode directly on its screen.
To avoid accidental interactions and unnecessary room highlighting, Walk-in Freezers are moved or packed by right-clicking the control panel near the door, not the room itself.
Walk-in Freezers can be moved together with their contents inside, including furniture, boxes, and pallets. They must be completely empty before being packed.
New saves now start with 1 free Small Walk-in Freezer, so new players can start using the Cold Storage system immediately.

A new Generic Box has been added.
Generic Boxes can hold many different product types, so you no longer need to search for the exact box type every time you want to move products around.
You can select which product to restock from the side window that shows the contents of the generic box by using the mouse wheel. They can also hold a large number of items, especially if the products are small enough. This should make sorting, reorganizing, and moving mixed products much easier.
The Generic Box is assigned to hotkey slot 4.
While holding a Generic Box, you can use the middle mouse button to navigate between the products stored inside and choose which product you want to place.
New Box Types
Cold Storage also comes with new box visuals and handling improvements.
Products that require cold storage now arrive in visually distinct cardboard box types, white Perishable Boxes. These boxes make it much easier to identify products that need temperature-controlled storage.
Perishable Boxes are mainly a visual category. They help you recognize cold-storage products more easily, but they still work like normal boxes. You can also place non-perishable products inside them if the product fits.
Perishable Boxes are also separated by size, just like other box types.
For existing saves, old cardboard boxes that contain cold-storage products are converted into white Perishable Boxes. This should make the transition much easier: focus on moving your white Perishable Boxes, Insulated Boxes, and Wooden Boxes into Walk-in Freezers or proper cold storage areas.
Box Shelves
Box shelves have been added for better box storage.
There are two types:
Box Shelf: 8 box slots
Small Box Shelf: 4 box slots
Box shelves are designed to fit inside Walk-in Freezers. If you place a box shelf inside a cold storage room, the boxes stored on it are also affected by that room’s temperature. You can fit up to 5 box shelves into a small walk-in freezer
Restockers and unloaders can use box shelves similarly to pallet racks, so they can become part of your normal storage workflow.
Compact Pallet Racks
New compact pallet racks have been added.
These are 3-tier pallet racks designed to fit inside Walk-in Freezers. They give you a better way to organize cold-storage pallets without needing the larger standard pallet rack setup.

Damaged Product Visuals [img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45663444/9b416c10fc5271ae099f978a3d21df79e089999f.gif"]
Spoiled and freeze-damaged products now visually change.
Spoiled products appear degraded and may have flies around them, making them easier to notice. Freeze-damaged products gain a blue, icy damaged look, so you can clearly tell when something was stored too cold.
If a restocker picks up a spoiled or freeze-damaged product, they may still carry it to the shelf first. Once they open the box and realize the product is unusable, they will put it back on their trolley and dispose of it.
This means you do not have to manually track every damaged product yourself.
UI Improvements
The box info window now shows storage-related information when you hover over products or boxes.
You can see:
How much the product has degraded
Which storage type does the product require
Whether it is currently stored correctly
The purchasing screen also shows each product’s required storage type, warm spoilage time, cold damage time, and temperature sensitivity.
Warehouse Expansion Improvements
The warehouse has been expanded with this update.
By moving the docks forward, the warehouse depth has been increased by 20%, giving everyone more storage space without purchasing any additional expansions.
The original plan was to increase the depth by 40%, but after testing, we decided against it because it could make workers less efficient over long warehouse distances.
Instead, 5 new warehouse expansions have been added. Expansions now provide 20% more space than before, and if you purchase all 5 new areas, your total warehouse space can increase by up to 44% compared to the previous maximum.
The expansion count changed from 30 to 29 because the first warehouse expansion is now given as the default.
Fahrenheit Support
Fahrenheit support has been added.
It is automatically enabled for players in the US region. For now, this cannot be changed manually in settings yet.
Small Fixes & Improvements
Fixed action menu names for taking boxes
Fixed a redundant “E Collect” action appearing on the buttons window at the start
Removed the second-door placement blocker for the main entrance until the door is unlocked
Fixed unloaders/restockers complaining about an already existing product as if it were missing
Added snapping support for freezers
Updated the Pallet Robot description to clearly show that it is Coming Soon
Improved box return handling for cases where boxes may go missing
What’s Next
I will be watching feedback closely and releasing more hotfixes and polish updates for the Cold Storage system soon. I also want to improve the feeling of being inside a Walk-in Freezer with more atmosphere and small details over time.
A Segway is also coming soon, which should make moving around larger stores and warehouses much more convenient.
I will also continue improving existing departments with new shelves, visual polish, bug fixes, and quality-of-life updates.
After the current systems reach a stable point, I plan to begin work on the next major departments: Butchery and Deli. A lot of the foundation for those departments has already been prepared through recent updates, especially with cold storage, product condition, and more flexible storage systems.
As a solo indie developer, your feedback, support, and patience mean a lot to me. Every bug report, suggestion, and discussion helps me understand what the game needs next and makes it possible to keep improving it step by step.
As always, I’ll keep listening and improving the game based on your feedback.
Thank you for playing, supporting the game, and being part of this journey.
Hello everyone,
This update mainly focuses on the new Product Sales Statistics screen, along with several fixes and improvements based on your feedback.

A new Product Sales Statistics screen has been added to the Statistics window.
With this new screen, you can:
View product-based sales data
Sort products by name or sales amount
Filter products by department
Open a sales graph for each product
Check daily sales separately in the product graph
This screen was added to make product-level analysis easier and clearer.
Improvements. Controller support has also been added for the Product Sales Statistics window.
Fixes & Improvements
Fixed an issue where employees were not spawning properly.
Fixed an issue where newly purchased and assigned products were not displaying profits properly in the Price Management window.
Fixed an issue where some statistics could appear one day off.
Fixed a restocker issue that could cause empty boxes to get stuck on pallet racks or be left on the ground.
Some minor optimizations have been made.
About Restocker / Empty Box Issues
For restocker-related issues, you can usually avoid problems by waiting until restockers finish their current jobs before making major changes around pallets, racks, or product assignments.
This helps prevent edge cases where a restocker is already in the middle of a task.
What’s Next
The generic box feature is also coming soon in another small update.
In the meantime, please keep reporting bugs. Even if you have already reported an issue before, if it is still not fixed and you think it is important, please report it again. I may have missed it, and I will be closely watching your feedback during this period.
Thank you all for your great support. I’m very happy to be part of this community, and I’ll keep bringing more updates to the game <3
