About the Game
Hazy memories. A $100,000 fee. No sign of an exit.
Welcome to a very Normal Golf Game.
HOW HARD CAN IT BE?
From the twisted well-adjusted mind of Luke Muscat (Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride), Normal Golf Game is a sadistically accurate recreation of the noble game of golf. Use physics to manipulate the path of your club, while simultaneously managing your stance, direction, and the angle and path of the face.
OKAY, QUITE HARD IT TURNS OUT.
Explore a giant golf course that is both a trap and a playground. Shoot from anywhere, aim at anything. So long as you don't try and leave, we will have a fun, normal time.

WAIT, WHO?
Normal Golf Game was built almost entirely by me, Luke Muscat. The real Luke Muscat that is, not the fictional Luke Muscat that traps you in the game. Confusing, I know. I’m a solo dev, Youtuber, and have the worlds worst golf swing.

Official update history
Thank you again to everyone for your support, your bug reports and feedback! It makes a huge difference.
- Rangefinder and distance travelled now match, fixing a common gripe in the You Have Missed challenge set
- Challenges can now be completed with a hit-ground shot
- Some behind the scenes rendering changes to prepare for the Mac release
- Sideways bounty has an improved camera angle to make judging your misses easier, as well as updated collision
- Can now rebind controls to the joystick correctly
- Can no longer adjust your stance while walking with the gamepad
- Fixed rendering error when unpausing in golf mode on 16:10 or 4:3 screens
- Retaking a shot will now correctly re-tee your ball if needed
- UI elements such as "Bounty Accepted" will no longer block mouse clicks when you are trying to quickly adjust stance (I got you speed runners )
- Removed ability to cheese extra long shots by holding either Q+A or E+D
- Improved "Need more room to golf" popping up incorrectly in the mountain bunker.
- Fixed Hit the 3 security guards feedback not working correctly.
- Extra door button in the bunker to avoid soft locking yourself out of the final room incase of a save write error.
- Fixed a typo in Wrong Green 2 bounty
- Upgraded how the Complete achievement is tracked. The game now correctly tracks all bounties completed on No Wobble mode. You can go back and replay bounties on the other difficulties to trigger the achievement.
- Bounties completed on No Wobble now have a subtle tell. They are marked with a white checkmark rather than a green checkmark in Luke's office only.
- Option in the Configure Controls menu to enable quick club selection using 1-5.
- Can no longer change clubs unless you are allowed to swing.
- Split out controls and rebinds as a two part menu in settings to clean the menu up a little.
- Fixed using multiple hole skips in a row during LMUGC.
- Fixed Ending B tick not coming up if you didn't press space on the final dialogue.
- Made Luke's collision a bit bigger so a strong drive wont just phase through.
- Fixed song that was missing in the credits.
- All bounties can now be replayed correctly
- Confetti does not fire off when re-completing bounties that normally unlock other bounties.
- Fixed some multipart challenges such as Trickster accidentally auto completing a section
- Made the bowling pin in Hidden Pin challenge respawnable for replaying.
- Improved Cross Country bounty wording and set up so people will hopefully not go for Hole 2 instead of 5!
- You can replay bounties, including Par, Birdie etc bounties.
- The wind now changes direction more slowly if the ball is in flight, reducing (but not eliminating) the wind messing up your shot.
- Can no longer softlock the game by having a hard crash during the purchase of a club or the LMUGC ticket
- Added extra save redundancy and automatic fallback to help prevent save data loss.
- LMUGC cutscene sequence only happens once per session in story mode.
- New option in controls menu: *Smooth Out First Person Camera*. If you are one of those players who has experienced a jittery camera when looking around with the mouse, this specifically addresses missing mouse delta position reports.
- Gamepad and Mouse now have different sensitivity sliders for players who are swapping between input devices, or cloud syncing between their Deck and PC.
- Shift to walk instead of run moved to the gameplay options menu rather than the configure controls menu.
- Distances now round correctly
- Improved multipart bounties to make it more clear that multiple challenges need to be completed.
- Map now shows checkmarks for completed bounties to make it easier for players who may find it hard to tell some colors apart
- Putt Putt Ace made more clear, so players don't try and land in the "You Have Missed" putt putt hole instead of the practice green
- Game now checks for the Complete achievement more often
- Added keyboard arrow glyphs for when showing the game controls to clean up the UI a little
- Added a "Don't forget your rangefinder!" sign on the course at the hole 6 tee
- Tweaked stance adjusting sound to smooth it out a little for those that found it too grating
- Fixed incorrect "you are here" arrow on map
- Adjusting your stance back while holding the putter no longer accidentally hits the ball.
- Added text to Select Ball menu to explain intended actions.
- Hitting the tutorial bowling pin while standing off the tee no longer forces a restart
- Fixed some typos
- Added additional logic to stop the "blank challenge" bug during the hybrid tutorial
- Mouse cursor now locked to the game window when fullscreen, good for those playing on multi monitor set ups
- Wind changing frequency reduced (stable wait time was 15/25 seconds, now 25/40)
- Crosswind bounty can no longer by completed by hitting the ball in the water. It also has a helper arrow showing you which flag you are aiming for
- Trickster bounty completion detection improved
- All one time achievements can now trigger retroactively if your achievements did not unlock for some reason.
- Mouse cursor no longer appears during dialogue (fun fact, this is because at one stage there were dialogue trees...)
- Made the first person camera movement when looking around smoother for some players who were experiencing a jittery camera
- Can no longer quit a bounty while walking by holding down space
- Updated text on My First Multihit to make it a bit more obvious that it has two parts
- Updated text on Great Explorer to make it clearer you shouldn't be aiming for Hole 2
- Fixed some typos
