About the Game
Outhold is a tower defense game with incremental-style meta-progression. It's intended to be a short and compact experience, offering around 4-5 hours of gameplay across 10 levels, with some additional endgame content for those who like min/maxing builds.
Addictive game loop
Start a run, see how far you get. Use your collected resources to buy upgrades and try again. Become powerful enough to obliterate everything coming against you.
Deep upgrade tree
Create unique builds that fit your playstyle. Experimentation is rewarded, and all upgrades can be refunded for free.
Strategize
Focus on upgrading just one specific tower, or find unique tower synergies. There are many ways to progress through Outhold, the choice is up to you.

Two small bug fixes:
Fixed a bug where Star Tokens were being inadvertently awarded for completing Token Limit challenges.
Fixed a bug where you could enter an Artifact Level before meeting the Star Token requirement.

Here comes an update with some performance improvements and bug fixes:
Updated the waves for the endless mode on level 2 to reduce sudden spikes in difficulty.
The enemy pathing system has been rewritten. Enemies will now split more evenly across maps with multiple paths, and move around corners more smoothly. This new system should also improve performance.
Fixed various bugs with the level select modal.
Various smaller performance improvements.
New update! We've heard your feedback on wanting to play all levels on endless without any token limits, so we've added a mode for that now. You'll find a checkbox on endless levels 1-8 to play the unrestricted versions.

We've also increased HP scaling again on waves 20 and above in endless. This should most notably affect level 9, so we've gone ahead and reset the leaderboard on it.
Full changes below:

It's been fun to see everyone enjoying the new endless mode, and completely breaking it in various ways!
We've identified a couple issues that we wanted to address, so that towers don't completely outscale the difficulty of the enemies (especially on the later endless levels). With these changes, we're also resetting all endless leaderboards.
Full changes below:
The enemy health multiplier now scales faster after reaching wave 30 in endless
You can now only spawn one early wave ahead of your completed waves in endless
Accelerated waves in endless mode will now have less cooldown between individual enemy spawns
Tower upgrade costs now keeps scaling up at level 5 and above.
The "Earned Mastery" upgrade (reduce upgrade cost for each enemy the tower defeats) now reduces the cost by 0.25% per level (down from 0.5%)
All endless leaderboards have been reset
Play Outhold on-the-go with the mobile version available as of today!
The game features no in-app purchases or ads. It costs $3.99 and offers the same content as the Steam version (including the new content update), but customized to fit great on phones in portrait mode.

Known iOS Issue
Update: The issue should be fixed now.
The iOS version has a bug with the "Play Again" button, you will have to always go back to the upgrade screen between runs for now. A bug fix for this is currently awaiting an expedited review and should hopefully go live later today.
