Official update history
We’ve just released a small fix for the previous update. Alongside the patch notes, here’s a quick look at what’s happening behind the scenes.
We’re currently working on the final two mechanics planned for Chapter Three - the courtesans and the moonshining system.
We’ve also finished writing the full script for Chapter Three and are now casting voice actors for two new named NPCs and the courtesans.
More details soon.

Today’s patch addresses the following issues:

- Incorrect food quantities displayed in pots.
- “Rush Hour” notification not disappearing.
- Mule carry limit miscalculation.
- Music volume set too low by default.
- Issues creating trash bags.
- Lucky Saloon quest requiring the wrong Faro table.
- Improved hunting trophy textures in Charlie’s shop.
- Missing kitchen door interaction prompt.
- Added screenshots to employee tutorials.
- Mule movement bug in “In Time of Need III.”
- Customer waiting for a drink after closing.

Dear players,
We’re back with another hotfix packed with improvements, fixes, and some handy new options based on your feedback!
- Toggleable sprint option added – You can now choose whether sprinting requires you to hold the button or just tap it to switch between walking and running. You’ll find this setting in the gameplay options.
- Customer spawn rate is now adjustable – Some players found the saloon too busy, others thought it too quiet. You can now manually adjust the number of customers coming to your saloon in the options menu. This is a temporary solution while we work on a more advanced customer spawning system.
- Translation fixes – We’ve corrected some localization issues in various languages.
- Train performance optimized – You should notice smoother gameplay during train unloading sequences.
- Minor texture optimizations – A few small tweaks were made to improve overall performance.
The past few weeks have been focused mainly on bugfixing the current version of the game and planning our roadmap for the coming months. Once the planning phase is complete, we’ll share a full development roadmap with you, so you’ll know exactly what new features to expect - and in what order.
But we can already confirm one thing: the first major update will introduce employees!
Tell us in the comments or on our Discord - which staff member should we add first?
The cook, the waiter, the cleaner, or the bartender?
Thank you for your continued support and feedback!

Thank you so much for the incredible interest in the Early Access release of Saloon Simulator! We’re currently rallying the team and preparing for our first major update—I'll keep you posted on our progress in the upcoming devlogs.
In the meantime, we’re rolling out a hotfix that addresses some of the most common issues you've reported over the past few days:
- Customer frequency reduced – Many of you told us that running the saloon can get a bit overwhelming in the later stages of the game. While we’re still working on implementing staff management in one of the upcoming major updates, this patch slightly slows down the rate at which customers appear. This should make gameplay more manageable—both in the final story chapters and in Freeplay mode.
- Fixed a bug where rugs would revert to their original color after loading a save.
- Fixed looping dialogue issues.
- Fixed shop display issues on non-standard screen resolutions.
Plus several other small and medium bugs you’ve reported.
And one more fun addition! To make a certain moment in the story a bit easier to manage (you’ll know when you get there), we’ve stashed some extra cash around town. Think you can climb the sheriff’s roof or peek inside the chimney next to the doctor’s house? Go take a look—it’ll be worth your while!
About game crashes
We’re aware of a stability issue that occurs on some hardware setups, causing the game to crash or behave unpredictably. We’re still investigating the root cause, but one workaround that often helps is running the game in DirectX 11 mode. You can check out the GIF below for instructions on how to do that:

Additionally, players using Intel 13th and 14th gen processors have reported similar issues. In many cases, updating your BIOS seems to help.
Thanks again for all your support, feedback, and patience.
