About the Game
What is This Game?
"Silent Breath" is a horror experience powered by Unreal Engine 5. Featuring photorealistic graphics, fully dynamic scares and microphone detection. How Do I Play?
You find yourself in the middle of a mysterious forest. Your goal is to find people who have previously gotten lost in the forest. You must be SILENT at night because the forest is listening to your voice through your microphone as you explore. It tries to make you SCREAM with various jumpscares. When you scream, you get one step closer to losing. You also have to constantly check your surroundings because real threats that are trying to hunt you down are on your tail. You lose when you scream or get caught by threats, and the game restarts, but this time the locations of the previously found lost people have also changed. You can't even predict what fear the game will throw at you at any given time because the whole process is randomized.Game Features
- Microphone Detection
- Unpredictable FULL Dynamic Jumpscares
- Found-Footage - VHS Style Graphics
- Different AI's Hunting You Down
- Photorealistic Environment
- Huge Forest with Different Locations in Every Direction
- Replayability (Scares and missing person locations are dynamically randomized every playthrough, making each playthrough a unique experience.)
Game Lore
After a night you can't remember, you find yourself at a familiar-looking crime scene. You notice that a body has been found, with his own missing person's poster attached to his chest. This forest has a reputation for a reason. People have been coming here for years to experience different types of horror, but most of them have never returned. You think you can find more missing people after this one, but be careful. There are many threats in the forest that can kill you, including yourself.
There are so many places to explore.
Discover a different direction in each playthrough, as a unique experience awaits you every time. Getting lost in the forest can even be an exciting adventure for you.Your microphone is your enemy!
You must be silent at night in the forest, and staying silent when faced with fear will be a challenge to yourself! The Sisters of the Forest
The sisters who have been rumored to roam the forest for years. They come out to hunt at night, playing games with you. You must face them!Watch your back at all times
There are many threats that can approach you from behind and kill you. You should be careful around you!Screenshots

Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
Hello everyone,
As you know, SILENT BREATH recently received a free Multiplayer update. This update was my personal way of saying thank you for your incredible support.
After countless sleepless nights and hundreds of hours of work, we are now closer than ever to the full release.
Since we couldn’t properly celebrate the Multiplayer launch back then, I wanted to do it right this time — with a special Steam front-page event. Alongside this celebration, I’ve also delivered several improvements to make the game even better. My goal is simple: to bring SILENT BREATH to more players and let more people experience this journey.
✨ What’s New in This Update?
Flashlight system fully reworked
The flashlight now illuminates farther distances with a wider angle. Previously, close-range scares could appear overly bright and hard to read. This issue has been completely resolved.Camera improvements & Dynamic Depth of Field fix
The camera system has been refined. Objects and scares close to the camera no longer appear unnaturally blurry — visuals are now sharper and clearer, making every scare hit harder.5 new entities have entered the forest
Five brand-new horrors now roam the woods, appearing in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer.Performance-focused code cleanup
I revisited and optimized large portions of the codebase to improve performance. Please remember — this project is developed solo, and things can get complicated fast.Lighting & shadow fixes
Several issues with missing shadows — especially related to the first-person flashlight and certain light sources — have been fixed.Film grain removed (experimental)
With sharper visuals in place, I decided to remove the grain effect. This is an experimental change. If players prefer the old look, I can revert it or add it as an option in the settings menu.Experimental 5-player Multiplayer support
Although Multiplayer was originally designed for 4 players, many of you attempted to join with 5 — causing the extra player to fall through the map. I’m now officially enabling 5-player lobbies as an experimental feature. Expand your team and explore together.
🚨 FULL RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Now for the most important part of this event:
SILENT BREATH officially has a full release date.
If everything goes according to plan, the game will launch out of Early Access on
🗓️ March 15, 2026, alongside a massive update.
👁️ What Awaits You at Full Release?
New locations to explore
Brand-new game modes for both Singleplayer and Multiplayer
Completely reworked animations for all entities
A true end-game experience (it’s time to break the loop)
Rebuilt and enhanced sound design
Overhauled in-game character animations
New mechanics to uncover deeper story details
New cinematics
And much more…
SILENT BREATH is more than just a game to me — it’s a passion project. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has shared this passion and walked this path with me from the very beginning. This project showed me what’s possible as a solo developer.
While you and your friends explore the forest, I’m heading back to work — the clock is ticking, and there’s still so much to build.
If you encounter any issues, please reach out via Discord or email before getting frustrated. I promise I’ll be working day and night to fix them.
Thank you for being part of this journey.

Hey everyone,
It’s been a while—I know. During this time, I’ve been dealing with major engine updates, performance adjustments, and technical challenges, all while thinking about how to properly thank you for your incredible support.
Without the patience, feedback, and dedication of this community, SILENT BREATH wouldn’t have come this far.

Bringing a system of this scale to life as a solo developer wasn’t easy—but it’s thanks to your support that it became possible.

You no longer have to wander the forest alone. The silence, the fear, the unknown—now you can face them together.
Of course, there’s still much to refine, and your feedback will continue to shape this journey.
Also, I didn’t want to limit this update to just a few testers.

- Implemented a fix for a potential crash issue affecting PCs with less than 8GB of VRAM.
- Made balance adjustments for the shy sister.
- Fixed issues related to the snowstorm.
