About the Game

As your final hour approaches, a large structure looms up in the distance - towering above the relentless storm. With nowhere else to go, you decide to enter this mysterious place, only to find yourself trapped inside… Will you be able to find a way out?
Cooperative – Your voice will have to lead the way. Placed in the shoes of explorers with only walkie-talkies in hand, you are lost in a castle frozen in time.
Immersive – The warmth of life abandoned the halls of Castle Rock long ago Immerse yourself in a thrilling experience as you and your partner puzzle your way through this abandoned fortress. Lose yourself in brand new environments and an original soundtrack.
Mysterious – We were not alone... Darkness took over these once magnificent halls. Can you discover the truth behind the grim fate of Castle Rock?
We Were Here Too features:

The patch notes for patch 2.0.19:
Increased readability of voice chat input pop-up
Fixed disappearing doors in chapter 2
Fixed several lighting, rendering and shading issues
Patch notes 2.0.17:
Fixed a visual bug where multiple languages are not rendered properly and show up as squares.
Patch Notes:
Fixed a crash or lost input when entering the inspect view.
Fixed an issue with progression being overwritten if an old save file was present.
Fixed some issues with alt tabbing.
Increased the volume of sound effects in the Arena.
Sensitivity when rotating objects has been adjusted.
Upgraded to a newer Unity version for the vulnerability found in older versions of the engine.

- Fixed an out of focus issue when inspecting objects
- At the relic puzzle, the stairs now disappear correctly
- Progression is now synced properly between different clients
- Getting stuck while inspecting an object no longer occurs
- Fixed a duplication glitch
- All correct windows must now be placed to complete the puzzle with the windows
- Improved readability of the EULA
- Fixed a visual glitch when entering the overhead camera in the Arena
- Rebinding of the Move and Look keys now works correctly

Memory Optimizations
Progression Migration (players can now start a new journey and select the checkpoints they've unlocked in the old version of the game)
Minor issues resolved with the Friends menu
Patch 2.0.7. is a maintenance patch upgrading our engine, plugins, render pipeline and internal systems in preparation for the crossplay update together with the Switch release.
The main menu got an update as well and looks different from before. You can manually select your checkpoint if necessary, by clicking on "change" > "start new journey" > "select your checkpoint".
Setting new frequencies
As you may have noticed, we have updated We Were Here on Steam! This patch implements a new voice-chat system called Vivox. This should improve communication between explorers using their walkie-talkies, especially those trapped in Castle Rock!
You also might notice that when booting up We Were Here Too, the main menu has received a bit of a facelift! Not only is it looking better, it will also keep you up to date with what’s going on with the We Were Here Series… speaking of which…

We have opened up our brand new merchandise store! There is an even better way to explore Castle Rock when you look the part with your co-op partner! There are different lines of designs, like our simple yet straightforward TMG Essentials designs. Our TMG FOR FRIENDS is there for those who want to relive those memories of being trapped and spending a lot of valuable time together.

Ho Ho Hold on!
The explorers sure like to celebrate whenever there is a good occasion to do so! If you explore the basecamp in We Were Here Together, you might find them eating some treats based on a Dutch tradition called ‘Sinterklaas’. Can you find all of them?
