About the Game
That's right, the entire map can be customized. That means you can choose the position of your neighbors, resources, and even how the rivers flow!
You can decorate your map by creating your own hiking path, placing fences, and adding chests according to your whims.
Each new hexagonal tile brings you plenty of things to do! Unlocking new quests, resources, and opportunities. No two worlds are going to be the same, so experiment endlessly!
Steeped in Quebec's rich folklore, Sugar Shack is all about progressing at your own pace and in relaxing, cozy experience.
Head out to harvest maple sap, pick berries, or tend to the garden. Or, stay inside, cook away, and focus on meeting the locals to help them out with their quests.
Maybe try your hand at world building by customizing tiles, placing items around the world, and customizing your own space!
Join 1-4 friends to lay out the world, gather resources, split the effort, and share in the rewards. Design a personal room to showcase your cozy style.

Official update history
- Fixed save game files of enormous size
- Fixed Misplacing object when loading a save game
- Fixed shop disapearing due to a mistake in the previous patch
- Fixed a bug where old save game would not teleport lumberjacks
- Fixed a bug where Fido would not teleport back to its tile every morning.
Patch 1.0.4 is a smaller hotfix focusing on mostly Quality of Life (QoL) improvements and the fix for multiplayer connection issues. We are still working on a bigger patch planned for later this week which will tackle the progression issues with NPC's.
- QoL : Reworked the UI to make it sharper and less blurry. It also fades slowly when moving players moves away
- Tutorial QoL : Added instruction to go to sleep when finishing the intro quest the first night.
- Tutorial QoL : Added notifications prompt when a player joins or leaves your game.
- Tutorial QoL : Added “Don't forget the plate” instruction to help the player understand why he can’t give meal to customer
- Tutorial QoL : Added a notification to signal to the player that no recipe has been chosen when opening the restaurant
- Remove the 'enable multiplayer' option. This should fix all blackscreen issues when connecting to a friend’s game.
- Added missing Oven lvl 2 crafting recipe, RoadSlab 01 recipe, Sink lvl 1 and stove lvl 1 back to Alexis' shop. If you bought the recipe it should unlock automatically.
- Fixed NPCs customers getting stuck on stations and made sure that they can always reach the restaurant when the player opens it.
- Fixed an issue where moving a table while the restaurant was open would cause NPCs to sit in midair.
- Fixed Antoine axes not spawning at the same place during expo67
- Adjusted penalty from sleeping outside to 50$ per player who didn’t go to sleep rather than 100$ per player.
- Fixed typos and other localisation issues.

If you had any issue playing in multiplayer, please validate that the option "Enable Multiplayer" is turned on.
We are thrilled that you are enjoying the game, but we saw some people having critical issues which we fixed in this short hotfix.
- Fixed crash that would happen if a player joins a game when the host is talking with a NPC. Multiplayer should now work without issues!
- Fixed a softlock issue that would happen if you try to sleep before placing the first tile.
- Fixed a crash that would happen if you stay on the Mystic Altas past midnight.
