Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths is a mechanic and truck driver simulator, with a singular focus on the mechanical function of your vehicle. Every job is a journey and a true test of your resilience and skill. Drive through realistic South American routes that are as picturesque as they are treacherous. Complete unique cargo transport missions. Can you overcome the challenges the road throws at you and keep your truck running under extreme conditions?
Perform detailed and realistic repairs en route: from engine tune-ups to changing tires. You have a wide variety of tools and parts for diagnostics and repairs at your disposal. Think strategically and keep your truck in tip-top shape.
Brave the dangerous but mesmerizing roads of South America: realistic views of wild nature, a variety of landscapes, day/night cycles, changing weather conditions. Everything comes together to provide an absolutely breathtaking experience. But don’t forget that conquering dirt roads, rocky paths, and dusty outbacks will take a toll on your truck, so keep a close eye, and don’t wear it out!
Jobs don’t grow on trees: check trading spots and gas stations for lucrative offers. Earn the trust of the locals to get access to better contracts. Each completed mission will pay out in funds you can invest in your truck to upgrade it or change its style.
There are many paths to your destination: how you get there is completely up to you. Find your own way while roaming the beautiful wilderness. But be prepared for anything: a truck driver braving the unknown must be adept at repairs and navigation. Look for safe passages: exploring the area can be very rewarding, and you won’t have to waste precious time on fixing your truck afterward.

Fixed a critical issue preventing proper game resume from a save file during the mountain plantation mission.

Improved overall performance and stability.
Increased average FPS across all locations.
Gameplay & Improvements
Added UI labels to quest markers on the map to clarify package destinations and reduce confusion about cargo delivery locations.
Added more color variations for cargo missions from the notice board to make missions easier to distinguish.
Some players were confused during soil sampler missions, so we’ve made adjustments to clarify where it should be placed.
Added an additional check for soil sampler availability: entering and exiting the truck will now indicate if it is missing.
Shortened the winch cable length.
Some players still didn’t encounter the truck repair tutorial during the Plantation map missions. Truck damage has been increased during these missions to encourage faster completion.
Added sound effects for pickable planks found on the map.
Added new grass and terrain VFX for the truck.

Fixed quest triggers that could block story progression.
Fixed an issue with an unlimited money glitch in cargo missions.
Fixed the volcano eruption visual effect.

Fixed multiple stone and environmental collision issues.
Improved plank collision physics and behavior.
Adjusted electric pole collisions to better match truck size.
Removed an unexpected pit on the Plantation map road where players could get stuck.
Added an exit through the wired fence from the gondola power switch area to prevent players from getting stuck.
Fixed LOD (level of detail) issues for several bridges, including the desert bridge, so they appear correctly at different distances.
