About the Game
Run a sumo stable! Recruit rookies, drill their stats, cook chanko nabe, and steer them through six grand tournaments a year. In this sumo sim, you climb the banzuke from Jonokuchi to Yokozuna while juggling injuries, rivalries, and an empty bank account. Work hard to make your heya legendary!
Uchi No Heya! is a comprehensive sumo management simulator that puts you in control of your own stable. It runs through everything you would expect out of a good sumo simulator! All sumo divisions, all kimarite, and small details like special promotion/demotion logic for sekiwake/ozeki/yokozuna. In hardcore mode the difficulty is aimed more toward real world difficulty, with only the best of the best reaching the top!

Official update history
v1.0.7 is out (web + Steam) — banzuke and scheduling release:
- The banzuke never publishes empty sanyaku ranks again. the committee now always fills both Sekiwake and Komusubi slots the way real Ozumo does, reaching into the upper Maegashira when it must.
- Top-heavy eras now schedule like real sumo (thanks Spiffy for the forensic report): with 3 Yokozuna and 5 Ozeki around, Y/O clashes now start early enough for everyone to actually face each other and a yusho co-leader will not dodge the other co-leader on senshuraku. Your 15-0 means something now. This applies to the AI too
- Off-season can't be skipped by quitting after a week-0 workout, the chanko feeding menu scrolls when you've stockpiled bowls, and imported saves now receive all the achievements they'd already earned — load your web import on Steam and years of progress pop at once. Divine bowls also now count for the Excellent chanko achievement.
- macOS: fullscreen works properly now.
- Fixed low FPS on the Fall and Spring off-season backgrounds (Steam/desktop) — scenery now renders as a single baked image; leaves, petals, and snow still animate.
- Fixed rapid clicks during a bout replaying the finishing throw and launching a rikishi off-screen.
- Fixed the day advancing underneath an open schedule overlay when using a controller — overlays now properly capture focus, and advancing the day closes any open overlay.
- Fixed Hardcore (Heya) scouting showing the base price while charging the 1.3× hardcore price — the label now always shows what you'll actually pay. (The higher cost itself is intended hardcore behavior.)
NaN being displayed during bouts where a rikishi's stat is over 100
Events that are too expensive being offered too early
"Top Division" achievement description corrected to Makuuchi
This also brings the Steam version up to date with other patches that were live on the web version for some balance changes and matchmaking fixes.
