About the Game
Ancient wilds have awakened. Insane prophets predict a coming apocalypse. Blood cults openly perform sacrifices... You will lead the last army of the Order of the Gatekeepers and stop the coming chaos. Not just humans are ready to join your banners, but also tough dwarves, mysterious elvers and half-wild turans. But keep in mind that not everyone will be happy to fight side by side with other races.
Travel across an open world full of mysteries and dangers. Complete quests. Find rare artifacts and equip your soldiers with them. Improve unit stats, learn new active and passive skills.
Show your tactical genius in challenging turn-based battles. For each battle, choose the fighters who are most suited to take on specific opponents. Consider unit line of sight, facing, morale and accumulated fatigue. Change the battlefield: build barricades, dig ditches, freeze rivers, chop down trees. When fighting night creatures, make fire and light the battlefield. Crush your enemies with all the power of iron and magic!
Detailed combat system takes into account unit morale and fatigue, as well as facing and line of sight, level of illumination of each cell of the battlefield, weather effects and much more.
Interactive environment: almost every object on the battlefield can be interacted with.
Before the start of the battle, you can use one-time scrolls to make it rain, poison enemies or build a catapult.
Open world: despite the presence of a story campaign, you decide where to send your army.
Each playthrough is unique: quests, random battles, goods in cities and much more are all randomly generated.
Ability to adjust the game to your liking: choose the overall difficulty level plus adjust hit chance, the amount of HP, rewards received and much more.
Convenient unit and map editor. You can create your own missions and share them with other players.

We have officially added a Borderless Windowed display mode. This feature will permanently prevent the game from minimizing unexpectedly due to background pop-up messages or OS notifications.

Misc:When firing a catapult, the targeting stone marker will now automatically disappear after 2 minutes instead of 7 seconds.

We have received a lot of player feedback regarding the deserter mechanic, where units would desert the army due to low Mood. In our original design, desertion is a crucial mechanic that forces the player to genuinely care for their warriors — hiring units with the "Soul of Company" trait, avoiding interracial conflicts within the roster, visiting towns, and regularly throwing feasts...
In this patch, we have added a toggle in the game options to enable or disable desertion at will. By default, this option will now be turned off. However, we highly recommend that all hardcore veterans enable it! Please check your settings menu under the Gameplay tab.
Balance:
• Added a correlation between Mood drop and the wildness of the current terrain. Overall, unit Mood will now deplete slower.
Fixes:
• Slightly improved the game's overall technical stability.
• Delayed or missing endgame achievements should now unlock properly (simply load the save file right after completing the final story mission).
Misc:
• The custom cursor size now dynamically respects your chosen GUI scale. It will appear larger on high-resolution/4K monitors and scale down on smaller screens.
• Improved the map generator logic for layout regions containing mountain plateaus.

We have rolled out a fresh 1.0.2 update based on your feedback and reports from the launch days. Our goal is to make the start of the campaign smoother and the gameplay more comfortable.
Fixes:
- endgame achievement now unlocks correctly.
Balance:
- increased the amount of easy contracts.
- more random missions are now generated at the beginning of the game.
- decreased the probability of plagues appearing in towns. The plague chance in Dwarven and especially Elfers settlements has been reduced significantly.
Misc:
- high environmental objects that obstruct your view of Cornflower Dust or catapults now become semi-transparent.

Full controller remapping functionality has been added to the Settings menu.

Resolved potential game asset and resource discovery issues specific to the Linux version. If you encounter any bugs or things not working as intended, please let us know in the forums!
Localization fixes for German, French, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, and Turkish languages. Due to a technical error, one of the translation files was truncated, which led to a critical crash. We sincerely apologize for this issue!

Fixed a rare bug where the defeat screen wouldn’t trigger if all player units fled or died while allied units were still present on the battlefield.

Configured the Linux version for seamless compatibility with Steam Workshop.
