About the Game
Wilmot Works It Out is a puzzle building game about completing beautiful images and hanging them in your house.
You play as Wilmot, who likes to unwind from sorting out a warehouse by sorting out puzzle pieces. Yesterday’s puzzle was a snake wearing a hat, but today’s looks like it might be an octopus? …or maybe that’s a hamburger?
Once complete, you decide where to hang it. Then the mail person delivers a brand new puzzle! Oh dear, this one has a few extra pieces - I hope there wasn’t a mix-up at the puzzle delivery service!
Complete a series of puzzles to unlock new customisation options for your house, including colours, wallpapers, bookcases, and cats. This house is going to feel like a home in no time at all!

Wilmot and the team have been hard at work at fixing stuff! Here's the details:
Addressed an issue where the accessories menu took multiple presses to scroll.
Fixed music tracks desyncing.
Adjusted the camera to better follow Wilmot when zoomed in.
Resolved a rare issue where puzzles could duplicate or disappear.
- Language setting no longer affected by Restore Defaults option
- Players can no longer set their Music or Sound Effects Volume to -10%
- Minor miscellaneous localization changes

- Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese localization added.
- Added an option to enlarge UI text.
- Added the ability to disable the flashing piece placement hint.
- Added a high contrast color mode toggle.
- Added a neutral background toggle.
- Corrected the localization in some languages of puzzle titles intended to be in French.
- Addressed an instance where ghostly door knocks could occur.
- Cleaned up some instances of movement and puzzle piece rotation which could cause a puzzle piece to become stuck inside another puzzle piece.
- Fixed umlauts not rendering above "o" characters.
- Addressed swapped keys on QWERTZ keyboards.
- The game will now ignore mouse cursor position when playing with a controller.
- Fixed prompt appearing if previous season's puzzles were removed from wall before unpacking the initial delivery of the next season.
- Fixed music accidentally swapping between tracks in marathon mode.
- Implemented limit on amount of pieces that can be pushed at the same time.
- The game will no longer duplicate puzzles when attempting to place them overlapping the front door.
- Fixed title screen music occasionally playing during main gameplay.
- Added vibration to Postie knocks.
- Fixed accessories continuing to move after opening customization during overlap.
- Fixed customization buttons not using the correct color scheme.
- Fixed puzzle room showing the puzzle table even when it's locked.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed issue where frame customization menu would instantly close when opening
- Removed menu cursor navigating clicking sfx when the game is minimized
- Fixed issue where tooltip icons can maintain the colour scheme of a previous wall when switching rooms
- Fixed room selection screen being cut off in some resolutions
- If you back out of wall view while targeting rightmost rooms, re-entering wall view will have a rightward swing animation.
- Fixed issue where chosen colour scheme in a room can mismatch the color palette of puzzle frames and accessories
- Fixed issue where accessories render in front of Wilmot and other foreground objects in certain rooms
- Fixed issue where season end music wasn't affected by music volume in options
- Fixed sideways movements causing Wilmot to judder when controlled with gamepad
- Hallway wallpaper is the correct height now so Wilmot no longer wallpapers his skirting boards.
