We identified the reason for the severe hitches in cities and were able to address the issue.

To fix Unity's security concern, we have V2.4 b7 built on the Unity version
2022.3.62f2.
It’s now available on the latest_experimental branch for both client and dedicated server.
This should not affect your crossplay experience in any way.
Everyone should be able to update their servers to latest_experimental and continue playing just like in V2.4 b6.

Hello Survivors!
Earlier this week we released a Stable patch that was required for connectivity. The compatibility for EOS versions <1.17.1.3 did expire on October 1st.
We also have some small fixes in this, but the planned content release will come with V2.5 instead of V2.4 now.
For Steam Windows users playing older versions of the game:
To reduce any connectivity issues, make sure Windows is up-to-date to maintain certificate compliance.

Today we have V2.3 experimental for you all.
We have a lot of changes that were talked about in the Town Hall Stream with more to come at a later date.
Disclaimer:
While we worked hard to make sure save games continue without issue, please make a back up of your current save before starting the game in V2.3
We've also added a runtime function that will automatically convert the old badges to the new survival gear.
Some challenges will remain completed, while others will be optional for those that choose to complete them.
If the badges were previously unlocked, the recipes for the new survival gear should also be unlocked.
Highlights:
Biomes and their Challenges can be explored and completed in any order to unlock Survival Gear recipes
Recover from biome hazard effects while sheltered allowing players to explore deeper into each biome
Recover from biome hazard effects in any other biome
Smoothies were updated with unique names and icons
Biome Badges have been changed to Survival Gear with updated icons to look more thematic to the game's style
Survival Gear will be dropped on death with those settings enabled
Players are allowed to craft additional gear items in the case of death or even for other players
Even without Survival Gear, storms no longer require players to escape the biome they are in while taking shelter
Plague Spitters no longer cloak
Lower chance of infection from Plague Spitter Insect Swarm
Tree stump bees have been changed to a non-infecting version
Tree stump harvest event has been updated to guarantee honey "IF" bees are spawned
Several zombie types will now target animal or player corpses that were previously ignored
Added a 2nd column of icons to use for custom map waypoints

For this weekend in the V2.1 b7 update we have for you several fixes to bugs and exploits.

Wedge60 Tip 1/2 Ramp Tip 1/2 Corner Left and Right to the shape menu
Wedge60 Tip 1/2 Ramp Tip 1/2 Corner Incline Left and Right to the shape menu
Missing localization for several POIs
Curtains and Drapes Variant Helper and recipe
Hanging Log 1 and 2
XML conditional function "has_entitlement", allowing to check whether the user has the named entitlement
Game Event Action for completing challenges.
Changed
Updated game event game_on_respawn_permanent to remove biome badges and reset hazard timers to default
Hanging Corpse Log 1-3 now downgrades to Hanging Log 1 or 2
Update localization for Shepherd’s Pie
Removed "Animation queue full" warning
Storm particles no longer fall into the inside of POI's
Fixed
Hazard Screen Effect for Wasteland and Snow Biomes do now stretch properly at ultra-wide resolutions
Permadeath is again dropping player backpack.
Hotswapping item consumable exploit
Miner's Mending perk repeatedly halves critical injury when swapping mining tools
Xbox series X/S lighting issue
Modding Bug: Lootable zombies no longer have localized names
Setting storms to 0% would not cancel a biome's current storm until the next random weather change
Zombies dying from old age are no longer dropping bags
Adjusted colliders on iron and wooden cellar doors to remove the thin gap that allowed a wallclip exploit
Players can once again report POI placed signs as the sign has no author
AI run away task did not respond to player noise
