CRACK is a 1-4 player co-op adventure where you and your friends work together to uncover what's inside a mysterious giant egg.
There is an egg.
It is very big.
Your job is simple: crack it open. Don’t ask why.

Official update history
- New: Pocket. Carry a second item. Press R (D-pad down on controller) to pocket what you're holding, swap, or take it back out. Rebindable in Controls.
- Pocketed items stay with you through saves and quitting.
- Public games: browse and join public games, sorted by ping.
- Hosts can kick players and close their game to new players from the new Players menu in the pause menu.
- Per-player voice volume sliders moved to the Players menu.
- The host menu now explains each option when you hover over it.
- New video settings: screen dither on/off and field of view.
- Reduce Camera Motion is now on by default. It's been turned on for everyone once, and you can switch it off in Settings.
- Tools now show what they do instead of "Swing", e.g. "Split shell" and "Tighten bolts".
- Tool controls now show on the main HUD.
- The HUD now shows an icon of the scaffold piece you have selected.
- The scaffolding parts terminal is locked until you buy your first toolbox.
- When your toolbox runs out of parts, a marker points you to the parts terminal.
- New tips for scaffold pieces that need more connections or won't hold once built.
- New hints when your crew is stuck on a work order.
- Added signs in the Workbot Storage explaining collector bots and drones.
- Swiping your card at a golf cart terminal now brings the cart back to its bay, even if you can't buy an upgrade. Use it if your cart gets stuck.
- Robot and cart upgrade work orders now complete if everything you own is already maxed.
- The D-pad no longer moves you while walking. It still works at arcade cabinets, terminals and the golf cart.
- Fixed items disappearing when a player left the game while holding them.
- Fixed sound effects cutting out after long sessions and in solo play.
- Fixed the screen flashing when changing settings.
- Fixed the wrench showing the wrong button for repair.
- Membrane, tissue and prime tissue now sell for more.
- Hammer reach increased.
- Slot machine work order lowered from a $100 win to $50.
- Calcite work order lowered from $250 to $150.
- Hatchite work order lowered from $300 to $250.
- Parasite shredding work order needs fewer parasites: 1 solo (was 2), 3 for four players (was 4).
- Added Offline Mode option, allows you to play solo without a connection
- In Offline Mode, the pause menu now actually pauses the game
- Added Chill Mode option for a more relaxed game:
- No bedtime, the day clock simply just shows the shift summary
- No sleep aid fee
- Puzzles stay on their easiest difficulty, and buying from the shops no longer requires solving them
- Bots never break down
- The egg gets agitated half as fast
- Failing an event like a productivity audit has no penalty
- No pipe bursts or scaffold breaking events
- No bedtime, the day clock simply just shows the shift summary
- Added Vulkan launch option for players with graphics cards that are having issues with dx11
- Lowered the default sleep aid fee from $20 to $5
- Fixed dream bonuses being lost if the game was closed or reloaded before the end of day summary
- Fixed calcite veins missing from the egg on some AMD and Intel graphics cards
- Golf carts can now be upgraded from anywhere, not just when parked in the bay.
- Snake turns now respond properly in multiplayer, and the top speed has been lowered, to make the Achievement easier.
- Added a "Reduce Camera Motion" setting to the general menu, to help with motion sickness.
- Fixed Calcite not appearing for hosts on a few specific AMD and Intel graphics cards.
- Fixed the day never starting after passing out in the break room.
- Fixed the pipe puzzle completing without registering.
- Hosting and joining now give up after 30 seconds instead of hanging on "Connecting…", if no connection to Steam was found.
- Increased Steam timeout from 10 to 30 seconds, to help with dropped connections.
- Added an invert Y axis toggle to the controls menu.
- Made unshreddable, to prevent softlocks.
- Fixed leaderboard entries using Cyrillic characters not showing up.
