Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Emerald Barron was not properly dropping from its intended reward source.
Fixed an issue where the Emerald Barron was not appearing in the Transmog list after being obtained.
To make up for the inconvenience caused by the Emerald Barron reward issue, we will be releasing another hotfix on Friday that will enable double Arcanist drops on both the keep and The Forsaken Temple until Tuesday 6/22/26 Thank you to everyone who quickly reported the issue and helped us identify the cause.

This hotfix focuses on rune drop consistency, tooltip clarity, accessory balance adjustments, and updates to Crystal Core transmogs.
Rune Updates
All runes have had their preferred drop locations updated to match the campaign maps with their highest drop percentages.

We’ve rolled out another update focused on adjusting Halloween Spooktacular, along with bug fixes
Map Updates
Across all game modes on Halloween Spooktacular, total Defense Units have been reduced to 105.
Reduced enemy spawn timers across all lanes to help speed up wave pacing.
Wyverns now spawn using a percentage-based schedule, with a maximum of 75 spawning on Halloween Spooktacular.
Halloween Spooktacular now spawns fewer enemy lanes in Survival, Mixed Mode, and Pure Strategy.
Halloween Spooktacular now includes proper survival lane behavior.
Increased the number of Sirens spawning during waves 23–25.
Accessories Update
Casting Rate can now roll on non-rift accessories.
Bug Fixes
Fused Hallow’s Evil Grin now properly rolls with passives.
Fixed an issue where excessively high Casting Rate could cause repair speed calculations to reach 0.
As a result, previous Casting Rate changes have been reverted.
Fixed an issue where the Copper Ogre could become stuck behind the north building.
Halloween Spooktacular Survival now properly remembers progression past wave 25.

This hotfix focuses on correcting several issues related to Halloween Spooktacular rewards, Rift accessory behavior, and a few loot table inconsistencies. We also added a couple of new Rift accessories for players progressing through Rifted Pure Strategy.
Halloween Spooktacular Updates
Fixed an issue where the Hallow’s Evil Grin was not dropping in Mixed Mode

Known Issue
Halloween Spooktacular still cannot currently be played with Bonus Difficulties enabled. We are actively looking into this and expect it to be addressed in Monday’s patch.

We’ve pushed out a new hotfix addressing a crash issue, some reward corrections, and a few gameplay adjustments.
First, we want to sincerely apologize for the crash on Alchemical Laboratory in Rift Mode when reaching the boss wave. Unfortunately, this issue made it into the live build and remained there for about a week. We know how frustrating that can be, especially for players progressing and deeper survival runs, and we truly appreciate your patience while we tracked it down and resolved it. The fix is now live, and we’re back on track.
Stability Fixes
Fixed a crash on Alchemical Laboratory (Rift Mode) that occurred when transitioning into the boss wave.
UI Updates
Removed Bonus Difficulty options from areas of the UI where they cannot be toggled. This should reduce confusion and clean up the interface.
Reward Changes
Sirloin no longer drops at Wave 250 on Summit Survival. To make up for this change, Gold Gemstones are now a guaranteed drop at Wave 250.
The Assault Challenge now properly awards a Victory Chest when played with Bonus Difficulty enabled. (As a result we are extending the Assault Speed Run Event Until 2/28.
Pure Strategy Changes
Increased Ogre spawns in Alchemical Laboratory (Pure Strategy – Massacre) from 5 per lane to 9 per lane for better scaling and pressure.
Copter Ogre Targeting Adjustment
We’ve adjusted Copter Ogre target priorities to improve counterplay once they are dropped off. Previously, Copter Ogres heavily favored towers after landing, which often left little room for reaction or counterplay when a goblin copter goes through a rift portal. This change should result in Copter Ogres focusing players more often instead of immediately locking onto towers.

Hey Defenders,
This hotfix is a follow-up to the 12/30 update and focuses on cleanup and consistency across a few key areas: fusion and item card display fixes, clearer pet and gemstone tooltips, Campaign chest and rune reward behavior, Crystal Core improvements, updated drop rules for several rewards, and a couple of important bug fixes. There wasn’t a PTR cycle for this one, so these changes are going live directly.
ITEMS, FUSION, AND UI FIXES
Rifted accessories no longer improperly complete fusion armor sets
Weapon set bonuses now properly display on a weapon’s item card
Golden gemstone tooltips have been updated to reflect their proper effect
PETS
Tower Pet Description Updates
Updated all tower pet descriptions to highlight versatility, movement speed, and cast rate to aid in classification
Yellow Ramster Can Rework
Yellow Ramster Can has been reworked to no longer loop and now applies a flat attack rate increase with a movement speed reduction
Yellow Ramster Can is now classified as a non-combat pet
Yellow Ramster Can no longer applies its effect to other heroes inside the hero deck

Note on the change
This comes from the looping behavior not working fully as intended due to the pet’s original design. The looping behavior will come back, but on a pet designed from the ground up with this mechanic in mind.

Fixed issues with the Campaign Rift + Hardcore chest so runes drop from the Victory Chest rather than the Wave 4 chest
Runes should now be properly awarded upon completing Wave 5 instead of the beginning of Wave 5
The proper Victory Chest should now spawn upon completing any Campaign mission with Rifted and Hardcore toggles enabled

BUG FIXES
Fixed visual bugs on The Keep that caused disappearing terrain
TAVERN UPDATE AND CORGI CYPHER
We’ve updated the Tavern wall with the deciphered corgi message now that the Corgi Cypher has been solved. A special thank you to everyone who participated in our very first cypher event. We learned a lot from running it, and we’ll be using what we learned to make future community events better. One common piece of feedback we heard was that not everyone uses Discord, and some players felt left out. We humbly apologize. This is the first of many community events we plan to hold in-game as development continues, and we’ll make sure everyone has a chance to be included. There were four winners, and they’ve been notified and contacted via Discord. The winners will get to name a weapon or pet and write its unique flavor text for a future update.
CONCLUSION
Thank you again for all the support and patience as we keep tightening things up after the 12/30 update. This hotfix focuses on making rewards behave correctly, improving clarity on items and pets, strengthening Crystal Core functionality, and fixing a handful of bugs and drop issues. Looking ahead, our focus for the next major update is improving the pacing of the game from start to finish, fixing as many bugs as we can, and adding portals to maps that typically run slow to help runs feel smoother and more consistent.
