About the Game
Funguys Swarm is a survivor-style roguelite where you play as forest weirdos fighting the Fire King’s flaming minions. Level up, unlock new heroes, pets, skills—even mechas—and rescue creatures to grow your Forest Sanctuary for permanent upgrades. Perfect for both newcomers and seasoned survivors!
Choose from a cast of silly funguys, each with their quirky charm and unique abilities. Whether you like getting up close and personal or prefer to keep things tactical from afar, there’s a funguy for every playstyle.
Face off against never-ending waves of flaming minions, mutated veggies, and things that probably shouldn’t be on fire. The longer you last, the weirder—and wilder—it gets.
Grab upgrades mid-run and stack chaotic, over-the-top powers that turn your goofy forest friend into a full-blown nature-powered menace.
A weapon to surpass the m.... menace of the fire king! Powered by the forest and questionable engineering. It probably shouldn’t work, but it does.
Every now and then, the swarm throws a tantrum and sends in a giant boss. They're huge, unpredictable, and almost always on fire. Oh yeah, did I mention that there's even a bigger baddie at the end of each arena?
Fret not, you have the forest backing you up in the Sanctuary, a place where you can upgrade your powers to be more ridiculous than it is right now... for the right price of course!
Initial early access release includes:
2 Biomes
2 Characters
50 Upgrades
3 weapons
and many more we lost count

Hi everyone!
This patch focuses on reducing the difficulty spikes and grind in Starpath quests that many of you have felt. Weapons, characters, and skills now unlock much earlier, giving you more freedom to experiment and discover fun builds.
Runs should feel smoother and less restrictive from the start. We’ve also adjusted overall difficulty so it’s easier to reach builds that feel strong and satisfying. We hope that every run feels rewarding, without slowing you down or getting in the way of the fun.
Gameplay Changes
Starpath Quests have been readjusted.
Access to new Skills and Passives is now easier early on, allowing players to build fun runs the way they want.
Weapons and Characters are more accessible, allowing for earlier experimentation.
Several values that felt overly grindy have been tweaked to encourage trying different runs.
Fire Offer costs have been adjusted. Less punishment for taking valuable cards.
Skill Upgrade Epic and Legendary costs have been reduced from 4 and 5 to 2 and 3.
Passive Upgrade Epic and Legendary costs have been reduced from 3 and 4 to 1 and 2.
Fiery Speed initial value has been reduced from 5% to 1%. (We noticed there are too much of Fire Curse runners very early in the curse)
King’s Favourite initial value has been reduced from 13% to 5%.
The amount of XP dropped by Shrine XP has been increased.
Shrine spawn chance has been increased from 60% to 80%.
Skill and Passive Shrines are now guaranteed to offer a minimum of Rare rarity.
The effect of Luck on rarity has been increased, previously the value does not reflect how it feels to be lucky.
Sanctuary Pond Luck costs have been reduced from 1000 / 2000 / 3000 / 5000 / 9000 to 500 / 1000 / 2000 / 3000 / 5000.
Sanctuary Pond Powerup Drop costs have been increased from 500 / 2000 / 4000 to 1000 / 3000 / 5000.
Shrooms can now drop during the first run.
Character Balancing
Ersa
Now has a 25% chance to shatter all Frozen enemies, instead of rolling separately for each enemy. In the previous version, triggering this doesn’t feel as satisfying.
Cooldown reduction per Water Card has been increased from 7.5% to 10%, with a maximum of 80%.
Fuzzbug
Pixie damage now scales with the number of Pixies you have.
X-olotl
Now starts with 1 clone that deals 25% of your weapon damage.
Weapon damage percentage now scales with Beast Cards.
When you have 4 or more Beast Cards, an additional clone is summoned.
Chimpy
Retaliate area radius has been increased to 1250.
Skill and Passive Balancing
Water Snek
Damage upgrade card value has been increased from 3.75 to 5 at Common rarity.
Infernal Leap
Cooldown upgrade card value has been reduced from 0.75s to 0.5s.
Focused Laser (Mutation)
Damage has been increased from 5–6 to 14–16.
Quick Cast
Now unlocked by default. Allowing for early cooldown builds.
Wider Reach
Now locked by default and unlockable by completing Carrot Farm.
Relic Balancing
Hellcap
Bonus damage per Fire Curse has been reduced from 10% to 5%.
Hellcap now reduces the chance of HP drops, instead of adding a timer to health drops.
Commoncap
Weapon bonus damage per Common Card has been reduced from 5% to 2%.
Commoncap is now affected by both Common Skill and Passive Cards.
Enemy Balancing
Charger
Aim Time has been increased from 0.7s to 1s.
