Howdy Golfers! We've just released our second Hotfix for the May Quality of Life update! This is a smaller hotfix that fixes a couple of bugs that were present in the Quality of Life build. Read the patch notes below for more information.

Bug Fixes
\[Speed Golf] Fixed a bug where the timer only worked for the first player in local multiplayer (Hotseat), while all subsequent players had their timer incorrectly set to 00 : 00 : 00 without updating.
Fixed an issue where the Host AFK timer was incorrectly applied to “Friends”, “Password”, and “Invite Only” lobbies. Inactive hosts in these lobby types will no longer receive the “Host Timing Out” prompt or be kicked from their lobbies.

Course creators! Thanks for your feedback on the Quality of Life update!
We have now released a hotfix that fixes an issue that was causing certain Level Editor assets to disappear in Custom Levels. This issue has now been resolved, and any assets that were missing from custom courses are once again visible and interactable.
Please note:
If you have not edited or updated your custom courses in the Quality of Life update to replace the missing assets, you shouldn’t need to do anything further to fix your courses.
If you have edited your course since the Quality of Life Update to replace the missing assets, those original assets will also reappear. This means both the original and replacement assets will now be present in your level.
Reappeared assets in updated courses will be set to a default scale of \[1,1,1], as their original scale data was unfortunately lost during the previous update. These assets may need to be rescaled or re-rotated as needed.

Howdy golfers! We've just rolled out our Unity Upgrade across Golf With Your Friends, making it easier for our team to keep working on the game with improved support and tooling for future development!

Changes and Additions:
- Rebuilt game in a new version of Unity to improve support and tooling for future development.
- Revamped the lighting for each course.
- A free Headbangers cosmetic DLC hat!
Bugfixes:
- [Steam PC] Fixed a bug where online lobby type would automatically change from Password to Public in the Session Setup window when attempting to create a Password lobby.
- Fixed up a missing wall asset on Hole 10.
- Fixed a wall barrier near the goal in dunk mode appearing in a solid magenta colour
- Fixed a bug where creating a lobby and accepting invites could occasionally result in Network Error Messages.
- [Level Editor] Added new 1x1 floor tiles so they now exist for all themes
- [Level Editor] Fixed visual inconsistency in look between old and newly added icons for 1x1 floor tiles.
- [Level Editor] Fixed a bug where the player could enter the level editor without naming and describing the course.
- [Level Editor] Fixed a problem where the 1x1 floor tile assets for the Peaceful Pines theme was missing.
- [Level Editor] “Do you wish to save” prompt will now show when retiring from the level editor
- [Level Editor] Changed the default settings within the level editors test mode to the following:
- Free Cam Time = Infinite
- Show Last Shot Power = Enabled
- Retry Shot = Last Shot
- Jump = Enabled - Fixed the EULA text overlapping the “Help and Options” UI when the menu is opened in-game for the first time.
- Fixed the EULA text not being possible to scroll and getting cut off in various languages.
- Various other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Alongside the release of the Peaceful Pines course and Fairytale Fables pack last week, we also rolled out some quality of life bugfixes to improve the overall state of the game!

Improvements:
- Fixed an issue where the puck would encounter unexpected edge collision when approaching the ram on Hole 4
- Fixed an issue where the puck would clip through the floor after landing in the final area of Hole 8
- Fixed an issue where the puck would encounter unexpected edge collision when approaching the ramp on Hole 10
- Fixed an issue where the puck would clip through the barrier at the base of the ramp on Hole 1
- Fixed an issue where the puck would clip through the walls of the ramp at the start of Hole 7
- Fixed an issue where the puck would get stuck underneath or pass through the barrier on Hole 3
- Fixed multiple tile collision issues when playing as a Star-shaped ball
- Fixed an issue where the puck would clip through the slide on Hole 10
- Fixed an issue where the puck would clip underneath a wall at the start of Hole 15
- Fixed missing collision on the pillars on Hole 1
- Fixed missing collision throughout the course and for level editor C-ramp asset
- Fixed an issue where the puck would bounce or slide for up to 15 seconds when spawning on Hole 2
- Fixed an issue where pausing and unpausing in Practice Mode would sometimes cause the game to become unresponsive
- Fixed an issue where players joining a lobby would sometimes appear duplicated

Your level editing experience just received an upgrade! We've pushed a patch onto the course, offering new features, editor assets and an array of bug fixing!
Full patch notes are as follows:
- Being able to disable the default World terrain so you can customise your level however you like
- Being able to specifically position objects in the level editor once the world terrain is disabled, by holding right click and scrolling the mouse wheel.
- Powerups added to level editor
- Boost boxes added to level editor
- 64 new level editor assets for the Corrupted Forest theme,
- Quick walls added to Challenge Forest and Bouncy Castle Posts
- Corrupted Forest foundation wall assets texture updated
- 18 hole signs added for both Forest and Corrupted Forest.
- As well as fixing various bugs surrounding the Level Editor.

This update features lots of improvements to the level editor (thanks to some fantastic and much appreciated community feedback), various bug fixes, and new features. Read all the details below!
Couch Mode Patch Notes
New additions:
- New ‘Pizza Party’ Themed Cosmetic Pack (5 Hats, 2 Floaties, 2 Stickers, 1 Trail)
- A random course button has been added to the course select menu and set as the default option
- Max Course Length option is now available in Game Settings. Players can now specify the maximum number of Holes to be played before the game ends
- Added a new Couch Mode preset Game Setting.
- Local Quickplay option added to the Front End. Players can quickly jump into a local multiplayer game with Friends using the Couch game mode setting and Random Course
- New local multiplayer ‘player selection’ flow
- Added the ability to rename local players
- ‘Offline’ name changed to ‘Local’ for clarity
- Downloadable content menu containing all up-to-date DLC
- 4 free Marble Stickers added to the droppable items pool
- Personal stats moved to its own button in the top right of the front end
- Help & Options moved to a button in the top right of the front end
Improvements to the Level Editor from community feedback:
- Some missing Textures have been fixed
- Quick place issues resolved, items now respect updated placement properties
- Walls placed now follow the height of prior objects
- Spawn point names correctly update chronologically after one is deleted
- Copied objects are no longer offset from the cursor
- No longer returned to editor after completing a hole in testing mode
- You can now fly the camera outside the boundaries of the default terrain
- Resized black holes now behave correctly in published courses
- The Pirate_Cannon_DeepVariant asset now produces force in the direction it is pointed instead of always along the global X axis
- Easy Wall Builder now works for walls from the Space theme
Various QoL bug fixes, including:
- Shadow appearance improvement
- Multiple collision issues resolved
- Hockey goal placement improvements, including goalie synchronisation.
- Missing textures fixed under certain graphical settings
- Yellow floatie no longer displays for ‘no floatie’ in customisation menu
- Fogging now visible on bouncy castle on consoles.
- Out of bounds reset issues resolved
- Haunted and Bouncy castle par stats now displayed correctly
- Default basketball skin can now be recoloured
- Changed description of Bounds Reset option to more accurately reflect its function.
- Fixed some issues where Bounds Reset would reset the player while in-bounds (Candyland, Volcano, some others.
- Fixed alignment and visual issues with hockey/dunk goal tiles on many courses
- Fixed instances of Z-fighting on several courses
- Fixed various instances of incorrect hockey puck collision with course obstacles

Improvements:
- Enhancement of the existing Hockey and Dunk modes.
- Improvements to Hockey Goal collision and floor tiles.
- Powerup game options added to Hockey and Dunk modes.
- Improvements to UI and Online menus to make it easier for players to reach each of the main game modes, such as new quickplay buttons for Hockey and Dunk.

The Sports Update 🏒
This free update features a plethora of improvements to the existing Hockey and Dunk modes, including key bug fixes, an option to add powerups and more! To reiterate, this is a free update and will go live on the 15th! Keep reading for all the details in the patch notes 👇
The Sports Cosmetic Pack! 🏅
Golf With Your Friends is no stranger to customizations — that's just par for the course...
Also dropping on September 15th, is the Sports Pack DLC! Get ready to enter the court in style, with new Hats, Floaties, Stickers, and Trail in this new cosmetics pack! 🏉

Patch Notes
New Content:
- New Sports Themed Cosmetic Pack (5 Hats, 2 Floaties, 2 Stickers, 1 Trail).
Improvements:
- Enhancement of the existing Hockey and Dunk modes.
- Improvements to Hockey Goal collision and floor tiles.
- Powerup game options added to Hockey and Dunk modes.
- Improvements to UI and Online menus to make it easier for players to reach each of the main game modes, such as new quickplay buttons for Hockey and Dunk.
- Further Level Editor improvements, such as clearer editor icons for some Bouncy Castle features along with various bug fixes.
- Fixed an issue where inflatable objects throughout the Bouncy Castle course were invisible.
- Various other Quality of Life improvements and bug fixes.

Thank you for your patience as we have worked to resolve a few issues from our last update! We have now released a hotfix for the following issues:
🐧 Linux:
Resolved graphical issues on Bouncy Castle Course.
⛳ Level Editor Fixes:
- Objects will now respect the state of the ‘Snap’ setting when initially placed from the palette.
- Softlock resolved when testing a course containing the 6x6Ramp+2_Base_deep object.
- Manipulating planes in the object movement widget now respects the snap setting.
- The Workshop course select menu can now display over 50 subscribed courses.
- Quick-place functionality reimplemented for objects already in the scene.
This differs slightly from the original implementation. Upon pressing the quick-place key (default alt), a new copy will immediately appear on the cursor and can be placed freely.
Known Issue: Only the first copied object will retain height/scale/rotation values. This can be worked around by re-pressing the quick place key after placing a copy, and will be fixed in an upcoming update!
