Welcome to Grimlord - a Dark Fantasy Action Souls-like RPG built on Unreal Engine 5 for VR. Awakened in a monastery deep in the Lonely Mountains, you walk in an epic quest as the adventurer standing before the darkness and striving for the light against the tyrannical Grim Lord.

- Fixed an issue where backing out from the settings menu led to an incorrect screen.
- Fixed an issue where some weapon part names were not displayed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the type of the event quest axe handle was incorrectly set to one-handed instead of two-handed.

Dear brave adventurers
We’re rolling out a second hotfix for v1.1.3 today, and we sincerely apologize for having to do so.
The most critical fix in this patch completely rescues the bow and crossbow shooting system, which had become almost entirely broken. The root cause traces back to the Halloween event: when we added explosive arrows, we introduced a new collision-detection method for all arrow-type projectiles. Unfortunately, this new system caused a severe regression—arrows would often deal zero damage or phase straight through enemies. It still “kind of” worked in rare edge cases, which is exactly why it slipped past our internal testing.
That was entirely our mistake, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration it caused everyone who loves archer builds.
A massive thank-you to our community: within hours of the patch going live, you flooded us with clear reproduction steps and video proof, allowing us to pinpoint and fix the issue in record time. Your reports are hands-down the fastest and most reliable way for us to catch what we miss, and we’re incredibly grateful.
We also warmly invite those who haven’t joined yet to hop into our Discord and official forums. The more brave adventurers we have there, the quicker we can spot and squash issues together—and the better GRIMLORD becomes for all of us.

Critical Fixes
Necklace Pickup Save Issue: Picking up necklaces fails to save the unlock properly, resulting in necklace loss. Post-Fix: All lost necklaces will automatically return to their original drop locations, allowing players to pick them up again. We prioritized this fix to prevent greater player losses and confusion.
Important Notes
After the fix, necklaces placed in the pouch may duplicate. Duplicated necklaces will disappear upon re-entering the game. This issue does not affect normal gameplay, and we will address it in a future update as soon as possible.
Changes
Increased drop rate for Thanksgiving event Turkey Ranger's armor outfit.
Bug Fixes
Arrows incorrectly detecting air walls.
Charged arrow attacks sometimes failing to explode, along with damaged arrow effects persisting, causing simultaneous explosions with the next explosive arrow.

- Fixed an issue where players lose additional balance when parrying enemy attacks.
- Fixed an issue where the arena questline was interrupted due to NPCs disappearing from the map, NPCs will now continuously respawn at their quest location.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect music plays in the Ruinous Arena.
- Fixed an issue where human enemies after being staggered would no longer break free when
grabbed.
Adjusted:
- Adjusted the model size of the Maneater Axe.
- Adjusted the model size of the Maneater Axe handle.
- Corrected the names of certain weapon components.
- Modified the game so enemy health and damage no longer increase starting from NG+9.
- Changed the enemy personality "stupid" to "idle" in the arena's custom mode.
- Fixed the problem that the amount of gold coins obtained by challenging the boss again will be restored to a fixed amount.
- Fixed the problem that Fedelixia was stuck in certain time periods.
- Fixed the problem that some combat actions were shelved.
- Fixed an issue where Fedelixia would cancel its attack and reroute its actions when blocked by a pillar.
- Fixed an issue where the hint for the final ending could not be displayed properly.
- Fixed an issue where boss drops could get stuck in walls and become uncollectable (this issue did not affect material acquisition or part unlocking).
