Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
- fixed the "atoms until next tier" counter after the atom collider is prestiged
- Fixed the rare case where toggling omnidash would leave you with the wrong number of abilities
- Also, toggling this ability now totally normalises your abilities: if you have an old save with 3 double jumps, you can "fix" that here
- Expanded the overgrowth background to fix the rare case where it was loaded in the wrong position
- reworked how secrets are counted, so that players can no longer lock themselves out of the achievement by finding secrets while steam is not initialised
- increased the verbosity of logging when saving; if there are future save issues, i should be able to find them via log files.
- +1 double jump has been moved from the end of the tree to the middle.
- The "omni-dash" box is now a toggle: you can choose to have -1 jump & omnidash, or your previous moveset
- fixed softlock caused by a certain box not being translated properly in russian (may not be retroactive though, sorry)
- adjusted the balance of the endgame to make it faster
0.5.2 patch notes:
Course screens now display your previous lap's time for a few seconds on completion
Springs no longer prevent the use of your midair jump for anywhere near as long, and double-jumping while you have upwards spring momentum will maintain a portion of the prior momentum (TL:DR it feels better)
coloured spikes now target the player's hurtbox, as opposed to its hitbox. They should feel a lot more generous.
auto-hides your cursor in fullscreen mode when no menu is open
the box that previously turned the lights off now pulls up a "demo end" screen, the same one at the real end of the demo (course 4). It doesnt say it does this, it just does.
minor reductions to the scaling factor of the upgrades in coruse 2
The traversal section between 3 and 4 now blocks players from skipping it when coming from the left (though, it's still possible if you wall-dash or whatever we're calling that tech)
The death animation when players hit spikes should always be consistent now.
I've fixed a bunch of bugs that made it into the demo!
Fixed a bug where stats would get jumbled around on save/load
fixed a crash that sometimes happened on save (I think, if you crash PLEASE let me know)
fixed a missing localisation string
fixed a bug where players, before ever launching the game, would gain watts from the simulation on the pause menu.
very slightly increased the hitbox size of spikes
If you have any issues at all with this demo, I really want to fix it. The best way to reach me is in my discord: https://discord.gg/2gZtQc7cBD
