About the Game
My Little Life is a life simulator that lives on the bottom of your screen, allowing you to focus on other tasks while periodically checking on your own little person.
Watch as they live out their own lives:
My Little Life is built to be non-intrusive, with no loud popups or distracting events that need to be acted on immediately. This allows you to focus on other tasks while your little person lives their life automatically. While still leaving the important decisions up to you.
Watch you little person go from unemployed and living in a messy home, to living their best life in their full customized dream-home.
Build and decorate your home
Order new items for your little person, watch them get excited when they are delivered to their doorstep. Unlock and order hundreds of different items that make their house feel like a home.
Choose a Career
Choose a career and gain promotions. Your little person could become a green-thumb-farmer, an epic streamer, a shady hacker, and many more options.
The more experienced they are at their chosen career, the bigger the paycheck will be to spend on expanding and customizing their home.
Recruit more little people
Recruit more little people, each with their own hopes and dreams to accomplish. Build separate homes, or have them occupy one massive mansion.
Fulfill their dreams
Fulfill each little persons hopes and dreams to earn Fulfillment Points. Spend Fulfillment Points to unlock increasingly varied and expensive items.

Thanks for all your support so far.
New in this update:
Updated camera mode, you can now see who you are following and swap between characters. This is mostly for people who like to afk and have something that takes up less of the screen.

Other Stuff:
* Corrected some spelling mistakes
* Items that are gifted for owning other steam games won't appear at all unless they are unlocked
* Version number is now hidden unless on the start screen
* Increased the chance for a certain secret event to occur
What's next?
I'm taking a look at how I can improve the zone mechanic, as some users don't seem to like it.
One thing I'll definitely do is make it so that characters can have multiple zones assigned, but I'm also looking at a possible larger rework of the zone system.
Not too much to reveal as it's still in design phase but I'm interested to hear what you think of the current zone system, and what you dislike/like about it.

Back at it.
Added a few items for valentines day. A present will drop at 9am in-game time and reward some valentines day items. These will only be claimable from now until the 19th, otherwise you will have to wait until next year.

Just a small update to add some requested stuff:
* The drummer and runner tasks not save/loading properly when they are in progress.
* Separate volume setting for in-game music (instruments)
* Darker nights (hint - you can click lights to turn them on/off)
* New instrument track. (Thanks James)

Oh and forgot to say - I added a new topic for feature requests now that I'm looking at new content to add. It's here.
Just a quick one here. I finally fixed a crash that was plaguing a lot of people. It occurred when characters would interact with career items.
If you couldn't play the game because it randomly decided to crash showing an error message like this:

Then this should finally be fixed.

* Removed one of the annoying coin dropping sounds when earning currency.
* Fixed the bass guitar only playing from the left ear
* Fixed the guitar Fulfillment task progression not save/loading.
It's me back with your daily updates that must end soon before I collapse.
I want to make sure you have the best experience possible, so I'm still focusing on game polish and bug fixing. I will make a new post at the end of the week that goes through all the changes in the first week, as spamming you with smaller updates might be a little annoying.
Anyway, here's what new:
* Added Better tool tips for various buttons
* Enabled item names for all languages
* Added a tip to ensure player knows to click and drag zones (This contributed to most of the "My people stopped working" posts.)
* You can now right click to cancel zone placing.
* Lots of Japanese font characters were missing when inputting custom names.
* Zones 0 width or height can no longer be placed
* Some issues with easel items causing the game to crash
* Clock blocked on City Mode
This update is pretty heavy on new text. Including the item names as well as the new tool tips. These have not been professionally translated yet. I thought it better to do the update now, then get the new text professionally localized in a future update rather than wait.

You can now move items while props are placed on-top of them without having to move them off first.
(seems like an anticlimax but it was really requested a lot)
