Orebound is a voxel, factory, automation game set in a first person open-world. Explore the vast mountain ranges before you, or journey deep into the Earth to find the ultimate Dwarven prize – the Emberstone. Lost in the depths of time, the King has tasked you to scour the mountains to find its location. Using your Dwarven prowess and knowledge to mine, craft and automate through anything standing in your way. Build up or dig down! How far will you go?
Dig Deep and Discover
Journey down into the Earth to discover precious metals and resources to create your very own Dwarven mining fortress! Use your newly found building blocks to upgrade your tools and craft runes to enhance your efficiency. The deeper you go, the rarer the materials but who knows what else you’ll find in the depths of the planet.
Automate Your Way
Use your salvage to create huge automated factories to bring you a constant stream of blocks. Construct Dwarven drill rigs to mine out the mammoth crystal veins, use belts to connect your machines and refine your ores! Reach the heights of automation technology and live out your Dwarven dreams.

We have released another patch following the crashes and issues raised by our fantastic community yesterday. We’ve spent the past day testing and working on a patch so most players should not experience this issue going forward. This also applies to the bug where some players could not connect belts to inputs.
If crashes or bugs do persist, however, please let us know so we can investigate it further!

Fixed a bug that made it so really small belts are invisible
Fixed a bug where really small belts are even permissible under the specified minimum length
Fixed a bug with item bounds calculation that made it that items could flicker out of view in certain cases
Fixed Stairs of Deepseeker not being destroyed with the rest of the Deepseeker after being saved and loaded (Stairs already left should be destroyable, there might just be a lot of them in the same place so several need to be destroyed)

Fix for faulty saves that don't properly load up their POIS
Fix for backpack reappearing in first person view when getting in and out of cannon
Additional protection against cannon breaking for client rotation after usage
Iron shovel description change
Equipable items now auto equip onto the hotbar and properly auto stack with proper notification
Fixed an issue with not being able to complete the TNT quest
Fixed an illusive bug where clients load a save while in a multiplayer game and issues occur afterwards as not being able to join or host a game or load a save properly
Fixed an issue where clients sometimes weren't able to pick items on belts
Plungers now require iron ingots, not iron ore

Fixed a bug where the belts coming out of splitters would sometimes stop working after loading a save
Fixed a bug where the Auto Farms quests wouldn't autocomplete.
Pressing interact while in building UI now closes UI even when looking at non-interactable building

Following Anvil Update 3, we’ve made a few more hotfixes to help support the game and reduce the chances of encountering bugs. We have made fixes for the following:
Fixed Infinite loop when placing elevators inside each other
Can now switch build modes while climbing ladder
Added Extra UI to main menu
Buildings in the process of being placed are no longer saved
Flag and banner colours are now saved
Deepseeker now deletes quest marker when destroyed
Can now switch build modes while climbing ladder
Food now displays how long it's buff is applied for
Fixed Three brothers temples sometimes being spawned in the air
Any temples already spawned in the air will be regenerated back into their proper spots
Added new "The Keys" category into the kings questboard to help guide the player through setting up basic automation
Buffed the ore detection range of all navigators and improved deposit detection of navigator 2 & 3
Reduced the iron requirement of Belt Lifts
Fixed cleansing potion not having a recipe
Reduced resource requirements for a tridimensional compass & navigator level 3
Added copper pipes into the marketplace
Text improvements and changes to the Deepseeker quests

Tonight we are putting an update live to the "thenextupdate" branch of the game. We are testing something for older PC's machines.
Specifically people who are running under 6 cores. So 4 core machines primarily. These are normally CPU's around the 8+ year old mark. However we keep getting players telling us that these machines are struggling so we've tried some tweaks to support these over the last few days.
If you have one of these then we would really like if you check out this branch and see if it helps you. If not then please still check it out because we've changed some CPU configurations for this and would like to know if it effects anyone else. Theres also some other changes coming tonight mainly bug fixes. We have removed the need for a password so you just need to access "thenextupdate" branch in your Steam properties!

Following our latest release yesterday, Anvil Update 3, we’ve released a small patch to fix most of the bugs from the latest update. We’re incredibly happy with how the new changes have been received, but we are always working hard to ensure all new content or changes are as optimised as possible.
Our full list of bug fixes:
Opening Temple door before talking to Deepseeker NPC no longer soft locks quest
Increased size of area where foliage is cleared beneath Airship landing point
Fixed issues with Deepseeker not being able to be placed in certain rotations
Fixed shovel being wrong on NPC dwarf on airship
Fixed take all button on blacksmith taking items that it shouldn't and emptying inventory
Guidelines on several lights and braziers have been moved up so they are visible when placing on buildings
Bolts will properly stick to skeleton of orc, boss orc and ogre
Added missing edge wood wall snaps to large wood wall
Fixed clients being able to duplicate buildings by spam clicking build quickly before the resources are used

We have just dropped a hotfix for a few of the bugs noticed after our recent update: The World and Gameplay update.
We have made the following changes:
Fixed the Navigator so nearby ores show up
Fixed the bug relating to players being softlocked during the tutorial
Fixed skull soup using the incorrect mushroom item
Hopefully these issues should not continue to occur, but please let us know if you experience any issues.

We have a small hotfixes and visual improvements update following the big changes we made during our Outpost Update:
Take all key prompt in looting UI now updates when key is changed
Belt connecters no longer block interacting with building
Coin storage no longer plays bank voice lines
Eyedropping buildings now properly changes hammer mode in done in destroy or repair
Stairs now appear on Dwarf outpost when placing
Selecting the same recipe in the smelter, blacksmith, cooking station or brewing station no longer sends items back into player inventory
More events have been added to playfab for us to get better data
Fix for Connectors blocking interaction
Fixed the navigator having a massive ore on top with physics
Fixed mini turret not displaying it's turret
Fixed hammer mode switch breaking for clients when eyedropping while in repair or destroy mode
Going to eyedrop mode when in repair or destroy will properly close the building instructions menu
Connectors don't appear for clients when host is placing a building
One change that you will notice in the game are the visuals - we have enabled shadows and some ambient occupation, which will help the beautiful, vibrant colours of Orebound shine even more.
