A New Journey Begins!
Thirty years after his first appearance on the screen, Simon is drawn into a foreign world by an ancient prophecy that will reveal his origins. This world is populated by powerful yet mostly useless wizards and strange creatures. Hello there, fellow sorcerers and sorceresses! (What a mouthful)
Simon the Sorcerer Origins has been available for a while now and many among you have already completed Simon's first journey into the Magic World.
We could have called it a day, or maybe we SHOULD have called it a day...
BUT NO!
We wanted to give you all a small present just in time for the holidays. So... who's ready for some freshly brewed patch notes?!
THE MYSTERY OF THE FIRST WIZARD
Let's start with a Bonus Quest! Yup, that's right, a BONUS QUEST!
Starting from Chapter 4, you'll be able to get your hands on a new quest item in the Academy. Keep your eyes open and complete the quest to uncover new information about the past of the Magic World and, maybe, about the future... - No spoilers! I'm looking at you, back there!
PIXEL LOVERS
A friendly, drooling, mimic told us that some of you might like to enjoy a more “classic” experience. Because of that, we added a new OLD PC effect you can enable via the VIDEO section in the OPTIONS menu. - Don't worry, pixel hunting is still very much a thing we’re happy to leave in the past.
DON'T STOP THE MUSIC
We are glad to hear that many of you enjoyed the presence of the PONY DLC, but it turns out that literally NO ONE likes having to restart the classic soundtrack in every single room. Who would have thought? So from now on, the PONY cassette player will remain active until you stop it by interacting with it. - We’d punish the game designer, but he's already miserable as it is.
THE GALLERY OF HORRORS
After our latest patch, some of you may have encountered a bug in the game's GALLERY that would force you to restart the game. It's gone now! - You now have no excuse NOT to look at our concepts.
SETTING THE HATS STRAIGHT
There was a small issue with the graphics of some hats in the luminosity settings. We fixed it. - What? Did you expect another joke?

- We heard you’ve really been enjoying the soundtrack, so we raised the volume a little. Don’t worry, it won’t interfere with the dialogues.
MARATHON RUNNER
- We identified and resolved an issue that prevented the “Marathon Runner” achievement from unlocking.
