Official update history
Added achievements, and fixed a issue I've been trying to figure out forever where if the host started a match new players couldn't join. Also a few other smaller bug fixes and tweaks like some ultimates are immune to being canceled now. Portuguese, German, and Russian added. Full release is on the 27th see you guys later ːsteamhappyː.
(we kinda lost track of all the balance changes sorry😅. polishing has been a bunch of small changes which has made it hard to record everything we've done)
Hey guys its been a while since the last update as we're working on localization and content for the full release. We'll be putting out more languages over the next while these are just the first we've finished. Due to complications with the voice recognition program we're using we've had to mostly do the translations ourselves which may lead to some weird wording or phrasing if you encounter anything that's a bit off feel free to let us know in our discord thanks as always ːsteamhappyː
I believe I have fixed the bugs for real this time feel free to let me know in our discord if you run into something else o7
I tried to fix a few bugs this update and it resulted in a couple game breaking bugs so I rolled it back I'll try to have it fixed and re updated soon sorry ːsteamfacepalmː
Manta ray: Changed the platform to solid
Quick draw: Enable movement again
reduce hit box
Hey guys this is a quick balance patch based on the suggestions and requests of several members of our discord. I'll be honest balance definitely hasn't been our priority new characters are usually finished the same day we update the game and receive minimal play testing. We appreciate any and all feedback and we're thankful for how patient everyone has been. We still have a lot of work to do but hopefully you guys enjoy these changes o7

Bugs Fixed
Mic’s not working after someone leaves lobby
Re enabled spectating
We realized that some Mac users and Linux players have been having issues with getting the voice recognition to work we were kinda stumped on what the problem was but thanks to some community feedback we've realize that it had to do with microphone permissions. On Mac you need to give the game access to your mic and on Linux you have to be on the native steam distro not the snap or flatpack ones due to mic access.

Bug fixes:
No more phantom player icon when players leave
Players get kicked when host leaves (kinda inconsistent but seems to work)
Hey guys it's been a bit because I've been working on fixing the Linux version of Smack Talk. I managed to get it to work but make sure you're not on the snap version of steam or your mic won't work. As for steam deck users I believe this should make it supported however I don't have a steam deck to test it. We also addressed a few balancing issues like the doctors needle. Let me know if you run into any problems o7
Chef has been freed(can no longer get stuck in the floor) and leaving mid match doesn't break the game anymore let me know if you guys run into any issues ːsteamhappyː
