Many more fixes are now live! Things might still not be perfect but should be dramatically reduced with previous 26.05 (145 Fixes!) and now 26.06, we are still investigating on your further reports. For Ultimate we added a lot of things but also had to switch to an very early new version of the Engine, changing many fundamentals and causing a lot of trouble, we are sorry for inconveniences.

On Xbox and Switch a small remedy will be enabled where you will be able to click on the first name in the credits as a cheat, giving you 25 levels for the selected class and one prestige + 15 exp tokens as a small condolence and as a way to get progress back.
Console versions gain 10% more experience
There will be some time until this is live on consoles however, an announcement will be made at that point again on Discord and Reddit.

- Fixed Jet Achievement

- Fixed Generic Shrine not working in Coop and being invisible for the other player
- Fixed Last Defender Field Attack being overwritten by other phases sometimes
- Likely fixed players not getting ownership of their starting weapons at start of the game in coop
- Boss Dialogs now are closing on Escape Press
- Stats upgrade kit can now no longer be exploited with shaker (wasn't easy to nerf due to dropping not saving any info so it had to be gutted for the moment)
- Shaker cooldown increased by 15%
- Added Ammo Stack to Firing Range
- GPS and Black market teleporter are now back to normal item pool although low chance, still exist in Mystery Crate pool
- Flametongue burning damage and range slightly increased
- Removed random rare room event giving Hyper adrenaline buff for one room
- Removed healing reduction from modded weapon debuff
- Fixed sound that played when pressing “L”
- Controller Deadzone Setting to max 25 instead of 14
- Low Quality setting now reduces particle amount for better infight performance
- Armageddon shard now kills after 10 seconds in the third room instead of instantly at the teleporter, now has a bit of animation also to convey it better
- Increased text size in english by 1 point for main text and slightly larger text font

- Temporarily removed Unstable Mass / Blob from Coop regardless of the above

Again we are very sorry about these X,Y coordinate corruption causing the coop issues - the code seems 100% safe, we are looking into upgrading the engine version still, but hopefully this patch also helps with the issue.
Over the last 6 months we have also scaled up our team, and as of last monday, we are now 8 people full time (+ some great externals - as opposed to just 2 for the game launch) so you better watch out for the great stuff coming for the future of the Synthetik Universe!

- Improved Performance of Particle systems (of of the largest performance drains)
- Unidentified potion has a higher chance to gain regeneration and shields over poison and slow
- Sour DMR damage from 1.45x to 1.75x of 8.8mm ammo
- Scar Laser Socom damage from 1.0 to 1.1x Laser ammo
- Heavy gunner bounces reduced to 10% chance due to friendly fire
Fixes:
- Fixed explosive barrels switching sprites incorrectly
- Fixed death statistics accuracy displaying 100x higher values
- Likely fixed Blob coop crash when spawning adds outside the screen - let us know
- Most likely fixed Divine reconstructor not working for the damage instance
- Most likely fixed powerups not applying when less than 5 enemies were alive
- Probably fixed slowdown issue for Heavy gunner and Riotguard at bosses?
- Probably fixed special game modes not applying for second player? Let us know
- Added another thing that maybe solves the camera lock issue - let us know

Things have been pretty busy with the virus going around and we did not get as much time as we wanted to work on some of the new bugs caused by the large update 25. Here are a good bunch of fixes already and the engine runtime used should also be more stable.

Improvements / Fixes:
- Fixed experience issue
- Fixed ammo pack leaks
- Fixed varied crashes and other things
- Changed divine reconstructor to work more securely hopefully
- Cursed variant health damage rebalanced, bleeding duration increased
- Take Cover Perk now works with Hard Light Cover
- Scrappy perk of Pressurized Impaler now works
- Re-Enabled UI on death - maybe related to color screen issue?
- Unlocked Neutrino bomb upon playing all arenas once
- Most likely fixed the Boss issue (let us know)
- Daily run no longer gives reduced attachment and stat options
- Uploaded with a different engine runtime that should be less broken
- Varied other small fixes and improvements
Bonus:
- Everyone is granted 10 double exp tokens (you see them in menu bottom right)
- One time special run code: /GAU8
- One time special run code: /WORLDISNOTENOUGH
- One time special run code: /ELECTROLYTES

Colored Screen issue:
We are still digging everything around for the coop colored screen issue and eliminate more and more potential causes. If it happens, also try press escape and see if that helps!
(Dying and the partner getting to the next room removes the colored screen as a workaround still) - Trust us we are at least as frustrated by this as you are and we try our best to get this very mysterious issue resolved.

NEW Difficulty Modifier - Lightning Start
Great for experienced players, makes the early game much harder and more engaging to play. Increases the difficulty of the first floor (or 10 Waves) significantly, but not the ones afterwards.
If you have a lot of playtime and the early game does not pose a real challenge anymore, Lightning start will make things more fresh again!
Gameplay:
- Increased the chance of lucky “Account not charged” at all shops from 1 to 3%
- Engineer no longer gains 20% reduced credits
- Engineer now properly gains the level 5 bonus for Special weapons
- Rank 2 Elite enemies now have 1 less plating but again more health regeneration

Item Buffs - Many of the somewhat weaker items have been buffed, so the general viability is much more even and opens up more builds.
- Ripjack Hyper Blades have 50% reduced friendly fire, volume reduced
- Iron Orbs now have 50% reduced friendly fire
- Unstable Current damage & extra chance increased
- Rebuke System now also grants 40 Armor flat
- Mass Shotgun system 35>40 seconds cooldown, Pellets from 11+1*power to 13+2*power
- Throwing stars poison damage greatly increased, now triggers on first shot no longer random chance, cooldown increased to 15, making it an opener and more thematic
- Lightning boots now have a 5% chance to deal double damage, charges a bit faster
- Beamer duration and damage now scales 30-50% better with power
- Tomahawks extra chance now fires 1 > 3 extra Tomahawks
- Heatsink damage further increased depending on heat
- Heat Spreader range increased by around 10%
- Special Ammo Supply buff now grants 15>20% critical chance when active
- Missile Drone now has 2 > 6 ammo
- Redline beam speed from 150 to 200, Damage from 300 to 350

We just released the Synthetik: Arena Expansion as Free standalone and now bring all the good stuff to Legion Rising aswell!
This update makes the new Arena Upgrade and Supporter Pack compatible with Legion rising, as well as adding the new Enemies, new weapons, items and tons of other changes and fixes!
Getting the Arena Upgrade upgrades your Legion Rising with 10 new weapons and the new Arena mode, which you then can play straight out of the Legion Rising client. Otherwise you can play Arena for free as a seperate game! Alright, time for the Patchnotes:

The new weapon of the Arena Supporter pack, has a unique standing still power charge effect. Very strong on single target but not that easy to use!

General Weapon Changes:
- Added Heat display in weapon stats window
- Most bullets now have an additional glow, increasing visibility
- Removed white light from colored laser/fusion bullets
- Weapons now automatically eject and reload after some time to help new players
- Bullet casing sounds are now louder and have more varying loudness
- Submachineguns now produce less heat than default, distancing them more from assaults
- All Heavy Sniper rifles now gain double damage from upgrade kits (10% instead of 5%)
Many weapon balance changes:
- FMG9 new model, improved firing sound, damage minimally increased
- Weapon upgrade station now costs 40% less for starter quality weapons
- Eminence AR now uses fusion ammo, now grants item cooldown speed
- AEK971 now grants healing from elite kills

- R5000 DMR is now epic again, damage decreased by 10%, headshot damage increased

- Mortar Shots and crystal mortar shots now scale slightly with difficulty but take longer baseline
- Disco room floor field spawns is now 30% slower on singleplayer due to being easier in coop

- Fixed sniper level 0 shield bonus only applying after level 10

- Changed how players are revived, which should remove or minimize issues coming from room change when dead, such as mirrored screen issue
- Fixed controller switching ammo on ejection

- Fixed the bug where a overheated weapon not held would leave your shield at 0 forever
- Fixed a nasty bug where you would sometimes take overheat damage from dashing
- Fixed 2 rooms not having quests spawners, making quests not activate

The Q button now switches between the last weapon back and forth, no longer cycles through all buttons - The same counts for the A button on Controller - there is a setting for the old behaviour. (Mousewheel / DPad still switches through weapons as usual)
Controller Free look can be activated any time by pressing left bumper, which should be much more convenient!
New: Modules / Stat upgrade selection popup now has a D-Pad interface
New: Items can now be dropped with the D-Pad and the message is included in the tooltip
New: Added aiming helpers on controller

The Q button now switches between the last weapon back and forth, no longer cycles through all buttons - The same counts for the A button on Controller - there is a setting for the old behaviour. (Mousewheel / DPad still switches through weapons as usual)
CONTROLLER
Controller Free look can be activated any time by pressing left bumper, which should be much more convenient!
New: Modules / Stat upgrade selection popup now has a D-Pad interface
New: Items can now be dropped with the D-Pad and the message is included in the tooltip

PERFORMANCE
Performance is increased in general and we found and removed the hard stutters that could happen on some machines! - More details further below

- Sniper level 0 reworked, no longer grants damage absorption, now has a special shield which starts less shield but gains 20% shield per headshot and gains 3 max shield per headshot kill, which makes early less overpowered and mid-lategame less weak
- Sniper level 5 now has an additional passive
- Sniper level 15 now has a weaker version of the old damage absorbtion
- Sniper prestige is now fixed and grants the pistol firerate properly
- Sniper K98 Classic ammo 5 > 4
- Heavy Gunner level 25 Missiles now work
- LG-2 no longer incorrecly consumes 2 health on shot
- Reduced health gain from level 0 by 1 to compensate
- Heavy gunner really gets extreme stats at level 5 and with the onslaught system, which seems a bit unfair, now he will have increased item cooldowns as a compensation which is a nerf but does not touch his weapon power
- Fixed Heavy gunner reloading LG-2 when at 0 ammo in mag
- Special ammo supply starts with one more charge
- Engineer now gains double from the first stat upgrade
- Engineer level 10 now also has a new passive effect, recycling 10 items grants one extra drone! and further recycling increases Core minimum stacks

KILLS IN COOP
- Changed team behaviour on enemy destroy, so now player 2 properly also gets the kills accounted (previously player 2 would have extreme issues getting stacks which were kill based)
- Enemy deaths still count as kills for both players
DIFFICULTY
- Fragile effect reduced by 50%
- Fragile Hp max can no longer go below 200
- Reduced enemy aiming speed scaling slightly
PERFORMANCE
- We changed how the audiogroups are handled, please tell us if this removed the stutters/hard lags that happen when playing the first time on a new session.
- From our tests, the heavy stutters on slower hard-drives are now 99% gone!
- Improved missile performance, reduced length of trail, changed colors of varied missiles
- Missile trail now is shorter with reduced particle setting, varied missile got slightly different trails
- Missile trail now spawns less overlapping trails depending on the setting, reducing trail object amount by factor 2-3 but looks worse, still looking into it
- Reduced duration of small fires, meaning less at the same time
- The ground color is now baked into the floor surface, increasing performance slightly
- Flying dust particles are now affected by particle setting
- Drawing of enemies when offscreen is now more performant, and even better in solo play
- NEW setting for disabling the background fog, which helps a bit on low end systems

As always there are a couple other undocumented changes.
(We will deploy a small patch early next week to fix any leftover issues, and which will enable coop for the madness, tactical and adrenaline mode.)

A couple of items can now drop multiple times, allowing for multiple copies in your inventory.
This is a new feature we’d like to test out and would love to receive your feedback on. Please let us know what you think of this change in the forums or on Discord.
We would have liked to do more fixes for this update but we will focus more on bugs, crashes and stability in the next 1-2 weeks. Up next is the port to the v2 version of the engine, the new relay servers for multiplayer and more content as usual.

ARTEFACTS & CHESTS
- New rare multi-core chest - offering a selection of perks from all classes.
- New rare ammo unlock chest - offering a selection of ammo types.

- Looped rooms are dark and look different and menacing.
- Looped rooms grant double the experience and 50% more credits.

We’ve been listening to all of your feedback and reports during the week and have been hard at work addressing as many of them as possible, while also continuing to improve SYNTHETIK. Today, we’re proud to unveil UPDATE 13, bringing a slew of fixes, general improvements and also adding some new starting weapons!

GENERAL
- Friendly fire is now 50% instead of 100% (this applies also to self-damage!)
- Add friendly fire notification to offending player.
- If all enemies are dead, the “Escape in Time” notification appears faster.
- Ammo chests are no longer usable by both players, to ensure consistency.
- Changed the “room with closed doors” to now be constantly open.
- Server hack boss spawn amount has been slightly reduced.
- Timed chests now last longer, depending on difficulty.
- Floor 2 enemy spawn frequency reduced.
- Floor 2 duration reduced by one room, should be 3.
- Floor 4 enemy spawn frequency increased.
- Laser Turrets damage increased.
- Add Player Death Explosion and dissolve effect.
- Added acceleration to Gamepads - more coming in the next days
WEAPONS
- Minor increase to weapon pickup distance.
- Buffed 8.8mm Bullets baseline damage from 280 to 300 (DMRS, Heavy MG, etc.)
- Nailgun Nails damaged reduced from 200 to 190.
- Default Fusion ammo no longer penetrates.
- Kaida Laser Pistol recoil has been slightly reduced.
- KSG2000 damage buffed by 5%.
- Dragon’s Breath shotgun ammo damage modifier from 0.8x to 0.92x of basic Buckshot
- New sound effect for AMD 65 and changed ammo to 8.8mm. Damage and recoil are also increased.
- Buffed Ion Obliterator damage by around 10%.
- Weapon experience requirement increased.
- New model for the P33 pistol. Buffed to increase accuracy when moving.
- New model for the Coil Pistol.
NEW STARTER WEAPONS!
- New Guardian pistol - Master Chief.
- New Commando pistol - Desert Eagle .50.
- New Rogue pistol - G17 Undercover.
- New Specialist pistol - PPQ-H.

- Added 5% additional damage tooltip in the attachment selection.
- Added a 2 stage savegame back-up. If you lose your progress, check out the backup.ini in %appdata%.
- Fixed lab level showing the wrong total level.
- Reduced camera shake / visual recoil option further reduces shake.
- You can now see daily perk rank ups in the loadout.
- E and R cursor prompt now shows the first letter of custom binding that it has been reassigned to.
- Added indicator to the pause menu showing collectible progress like bolts.
DATA
- Data changed - Quests and Terminals now grant 4 data (increased from 2).
- Data changed - Clearing a room now grants 2 data.
- Data changed - Daily login now grants 25 * time data (increased from 12)
- It is intended that you play around 3 - 4 runs to buy a 200 data item, tell us if this differs too much.
ITEMS
- Added tooltips to all items, showing which stats are altered at upgrade shrines.
- Heart Core now grants double health per stack and heals fully upon usage.
- Homing Missile item now shoots two missiles.
- Increased Gundrone Spawner item chance from 7 to 10%.
- Reduced Seeker item chance from 35 to 25%.
- Akira explosions now scale with power and starts with one more explosion.
- Ring of Glass charges required reduced from 1000 to 750.
- Shield Splash item now has a duration where it continuously splashes. It now has a longer cooldown.
- Item upgrades scale less extremely in some cases.
CLASSES
- Commando Core now grants 2 Strafe charges.
- Rogue healing gain reduced.
PERFORMANCE
- Optimized certain objects
- Fixes a stuttering issue caused by idle particles
- Disabled global chat and lobby in coop, decreasing stuttering
- High quality light setting now can turn off lighting for better performance
FIXES
- Fixed varied crashes and bugs
- Fixed Arena & Defense boss not dying
- Fixed/Improved pickups spawning on unreachable areas
- Fixed grenade exploit
- Fixed Jet Glider shooting outfight
- Fixed ultra particles setting not working.
