About the Game
In Tattoo Removal Simulator, you work as a tattoo removal specialist in a small studio tucked inside a restless city. Outside, life moves fast. Inside, everything slows down.
Your clients all come for the same reason: they want something gone. Behind every piece of ink is a fragment of a life once lived differently - love, mistakes, joy, drama, and everything in between.
Your role is to erase what no longer belongs.
GAMEPLAY
Tattoo removal is a slow, deliberate process. You work line by line, layer by layer, watching ink fade and skin reappear.
Precision matters. So does patience. Push too hard, and you cause unnecessary pain. Lose control, and clients lose trust - and you lose earnings.
There is no rush here. Only focus, steady hands, and the quiet satisfaction of making something permanent… less so.
GAME MODES
Career Mode: Build and run your own tattoo removal studio. Your income depends on the quality of your work. Careless handling causes pain, leads to mistakes, and results in unhappy clients - and penalties.
Reinvest your earnings to upgrade the studio and expand your tools. Progress from basic laser equipment to advanced - and increasingly unconventional - technology, including experimental plasma lasers. Grow your business by earning trust, not by rushing the job.
Casual Mode: Step into a relaxed, low-pressure experience. Take on random clients and enjoy the satisfying process of erasing tattoos without worrying about mistakes, penalties, or deadlines. Just focus on the work, the sound of the laser, and the quiet transformation of skin.
Story Mode: Witness stories that could fill a movie. Each client brings more than a tattoo - they bring a life.
Every session is unpredictable, immersive, and unforgettable. Experience tales of love, loss, humor, and human complexity - all in the chair across from you. Every tattoo erased reveals a story worth remembering.
VR SUPPORTED
Step into your studio like never before. With full VR support, every tattoo, every laser pulse, and every subtle movement of your client feels tangible. It’s the same calm, deliberate process, only now you’re truly in the chair with them.

Gamepad support:

Finally you can play Tattoo Removal Simulator on SteamDeck during any important stuff in your life, such as sitting in toilet, making actual tattoos, driving somewhere(probably flighting too). Enjoy your new possibilities and wish you luck with your adventures.
For now we have "Unsupported" tag for SteamDeck, because we are waiting for verification review, but you can still enjoy the game on SteamDeck.
Pew! Pew! Pew! Tattoo removing masters, here we have a new fixes and stuff for you.
Updates:
- Updated music for Edward and Saito stories;
- Updated ambient at all studios and locations;
- Added sfx for level up;
- Removed clients refresh timer, you can just play all the time selected studio, without going to another one;
- Updated tattoos for existing characters.
Fixes:
- FPS drop on music changes;
- Tools continue working without input in different conditions;
- In some studios you can see through the ceiling in some conditions;
- In starting studio some objects were without colliders;
- After purchasing new studio, locked label dissapear from other studios(UI bug);
- Tools window can be opened during pause;
- In Vr mode on starting studio some environment elements still be visible in isolated UI view;
- Some places cannot be lasered on character body.
Fixed bugs:
- Characters keep talking on pause.
- Story subtitles continue updates on pause.
- Cursor troubles for usage of 'Esc' and when cursor active when several windows opened
- In VR you can move tools to your body and push yourself
- Achievement "Full Coverage" cannot be achieved
- Fixed exiting Story Mode and returning to career retaining the story character, causing a crash
- Fixed Player Level carrying over when starting a new career
- Fixed UI locking up when exiting a procedure too quickly in Rose's Story - an invisible confirmation dialog was blocking all input
- Fixed "Star Treatment" achievement not being completable
- Character description localizations added
- Rose's Story: character renamed from Dakota to Rose throughout all subtitles
- Fixed VR launch issue
- Updated loading for pc version
Bug Fixes
- Fixed player level widget not displaying correctly
- Fixed starting laser appearing locked on new sessions
- Fixed Celeste Hargrove tattoo where players could get stuck at 97% completion - the affected area is now more visible. If the issue persists, try tilting the client character left or right to clear it
- Localization fix - descriptions were missing in several languages
Changes
- Edward's story has been moved to the 2nd Studio. Players who already completed it in the original location won't miss anything - legacy save support is included
- Clients now chat more frequently during sessions, closer to the demo experience
- Fixed progress save after first career launch
